Happens all the damn time.
Thank you for saying this. The right attorney is really needed by this family. Both the “family friend “ Chris dingman running around jovially doing UA-cam interviews directly conflicting something the mom said during this and the press conference yesterday which was imo not handled well could be immensely improved by an experienced attorney. Someone who the family trusts professionally needs to advise them. Thanks
If you're following the Delphi case, the cops have screwed up. The judge and state have 00000 transparency, and Libby and Abby will never get justice, at this rate.
Can you plean explain what is going on, even for 5 secs at the beginning. I have never heard this persons name let alone the situation
He was shot or something was thrown at him from the man he was tussling with when he runs out of the bar! He doesn’t hit the sign, he gets hit and drops right before the sign! Also, there are several men watching this!! Look over the hoods of the cars where the man is…. Look to the left. They probably chased him in the black car afterwards!! Watch it in slow motion!! Riley is being pulled by a man and he jerks his arm and runs and the man throws something at him and he hits the ground right before the sign!!
As a mother, this was my biggest fear when my daughter was at university. I gave her a credit card and debit card for her and her girlfriends to get taxis from wherever they needed. No one should be put outside alone with no way to their hotel or home in a strange town, drunk or high. It's unthinkable that no one looked out for this young man's safety. A group drinking, they all get thrown out if one is acting up. You came together, you leave together. Period. I can't sleep at night from this story. 🙏
🗣️🗣️🗣️
Definitely the whole group should have been kicked out together. To single him out to be booted when clearly he was impaired, that's just nuts that somebody didn't take responsibility to go with him.
Totally agree. This case has me reminiscing on a trip I took to San Francisco with my two friends when I was 21 and getting way too intoxicated bc some guy had given me Xanax to take with alcohol and I blacked out - my friends got me back to the hotel safely and took care of me.
@@elleelizabeth2736they are friends. But right now those frat-brother are scary. 😱
I was thinking someone gave him something
Do NOT Let Friends Go Out Alone, Drunk or Sober. PRACTICE THE BUDDY SYSTEM ALWAYS
Yes, thank you for saying this!! This should also be a part of everyday life.
Never ever too old for the buddy system.
Easy to say have you ever try dealing with a drunk person before ? I have they can be very stubborn sometimes not saying these is the case I’m talking in general 💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽
Or maybe just don't drink to the point that you need your friends to babysit you.
Geez, team sports and the military drill the buddy system.
All of us sitting at home need to realize unless we have a specific name, item to provide to police, calling in with our "ideas" just slows the whole process down.
Absolutely correct!
Great point!
Exactly the police are overwhelmed with false leads and conspiracy theories. Solid leads with eyewitnesses is the only ones who should call.
I've seen comments asking things like, "has LE checked CCTV?" It's like, obviously! First of all, CCTV footage of him has been released, and also, duh! Lol. No one needs to be calling and stating the obvious! (Because I'm sure there are people who do that!)
I Agee. If it's not facts the speculations are bogging the case down. Stop begging for clicks and likes. This is a young man's life!!
Nashville native here, barely anyone has talked about Sebastian Rogers. He is an autistic 15 year old who has been missing since 2/26 out of Hendersonville (just north of Nashville). I would love for you to talk about this story.
I think it is so disrespectful to that little boy snd his family that we hear nothing but Riley, Riley, Riley.
@@galaxybunny6706 Same as Summer Wells case. A lot of NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING. Parents need to be arrested. Force them to talk.
The kid had too much to drink. His friends should not have let him leave alone. I am guessing he is in the river. There should be no blame on the bar. They kicked him out as soon as they realized he had too much to drink. All of this could have been avoided had a friend went with him.
Yeah the odds he fell into the river.
He got kicked out his friends were probably too drunk to realize it
The bar should have called a taxi for him so he could get somewhere safely.
As much as I am glad that this is getting national coverage to bring him home, I wish every missing person case got this much attention.
Oddly, it was only on my news for 2 or so days and then nothing. I didn't realize it has been 11 days! Missing people should get nationwide coverage even if only to show a missing person picture if they can't find the time to do a longer story on them. This is very sad for this family to be in the dark about their son.
I agree Sebastian Rogers a 15 year old went missing from his home at the same time. Definitely a crime. Riley Strain case is tragic but he was drunk and fell in the River, most likely an accident.
It would be great if every missing person got this much attention, but honestly and sadly, there are SO many missing people out there, our news would be nothing but missing people! But maybe there should be a channel on TV just dedicated to that!
Your being selfish!! Think of his family!!
@@laurie6332 I've been hearing about this for over a week. Can't look at social media without this popping up, which is great. But, like I stated there are hundreds of people missing right now who also need even just 5 minutes to get their story out.
Thank you, Peter! I hope you will definitely stay with this. Right now, he is everyone’s son, brother, nephew! 🥺💔
This level of intoxication leaves a person vulnerable medically as well as socially, and he also hit his head. Acute alcohol intoxication alone could have killed him if he fell asleep somewhere and the temperature dropped. He could have vomited again and aspirated. He could have been bleeding on his brain the entire time he was walking. I don't know why parents think fraternities are good for their kids. Half of their members develop lifelong alcohol abuse. Nobody has mentioned what kind of experience Riley had with alcohol. They seem to think he was drugged in the bar. Police have not listed possessions that could be missing. One of the girls who found his ATM card said he had a bright blue wallet. How did she know that? He may have been robbed for the iPhone 15. There is a common phenomenon in the UK where drunken men go to the water's edge to pee, their blood pressure drops from the bladder being voided, and they fall in.
Micturition syncope (fainting after urination) can happen even if a person/man is not drunk. It happened to someone in my family. He hit his head on the bathroom counter and was found bleeding from the head at about 3:00 am. It was terrifying not knowing what happened.
💯
There have been about 8 men in Buckhead (Atlanta) who were recently drugged at the same bars, different times. They were walked out and put in the back of a car and driven around. They could barely talk or move. Their bank accounts were all drained of 10-13K each. Then they were dropped off with a different victims phones and wallets. Same thing in NY but apparently two of the four male victims ended up dead. Drugging males has become a thing and I think it looks like Riley could have experienced that. I sure hope not because that’s terrifying, but it could still be a possibility.
@@4Brandy4that black car that they've talked about in the video's could have been the people that drug men?! 🤔
Everyone hurts, but no one hurts like a mother!! That poor lady.😢
Or a father.
I can’t even imagine the pain this family is going through praying Riley is found safe🙏🏼🙏🏼
There’s a college kid, 22 years old just disappeared here in Corpus Christi, Texas!!! He went downstairs from his apartment to get his Uber Eats delivery and vanished! This was almost same time Riley went missing 😪🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I pray Riley is found safely, those poor parents 🙏🏻. However I have 2 sons in college & at point do we stop blaming the bar, the cops, bystanders, homeless people, the hotel, etc we need to teach our kids to be accountable for themselves. Don’t over drink, call an Uber, ask friend to come with. I’m not blaming the missing boy….but he is 22 & at some point he made decisions that night.
He’s a grown adult. It’s tragic that he is almost certainly miles and miles and miles down the Cumberland and has probably been deceased since literally minutes after the last footage we have of him from the police body cam, but the ultimate fault lies with him. Others may share guilt for having had an opportunity to prevent it, but the ultimate fault lies with him and that’s an obvious fact.
I just thought logically and, unfortunately, not 10 hours later that theory was proven right. Although he wasn’t miles and miles, he was in the river allllll along.
This is just heartbreaking. Every time I hear his mom speak, the tears start on me. The days keep going by and I cant help but feel the families pain. I pray Riley is found soon. 🙏💙🙏
This topic is so important college students don't understand the importance of a buddy system. Thanks for the highlight on this case.
This is being looked at by many people here in Nashville locally. The family is in contact with the 'Cajun Navy', and they all had a press release yesterday. It seems obvious to me that the family is not satisfied with the police searches. He turned the wrong way from the bar if he was going to the hotel. Also, this is a very busy drinking area, and to me, it brings questions to mind as bars throwing intoxicated people out on the streets. There is a heavy LE presence diwn there, but it us never enough because they seem to be there to help the businesses. This is so heartbreaking.
The bars are not responsible for babysitting once patrons leave. That's unrealistic. They're doing right by checking IDs, cutting off people who appear to have had enough or those who are acting out. That's the extent of their responsibilities. People saying the buddy system have it right.
@@kellielynn9637it's everyone else's fault but the drunk kid lol
I think you need to be careful during an investigation to not make public statements about the police not doing a good job. Defence lawyers can use this during a trial to imply the police didn't do a good job and missed a potential suspect.
I watched an interview with a searcher familiar with the area. They said water was 7ft higher the night Riley went missing then the day card was found. Since water level fluctuates it is possible card was submerged for a period of time.
Yeah he's likely stuck in some submerged branches along the river somewhere. Hard enough to find a car underwater let alone a submerged body. He might wash up down river after a storm in the coming months
No one knows what the police has investigated or not. That has to be kept under wraps to protect leads. It may be frustrating but necessary. They share what they can and guard what they can’t. Sometimes it just looks like they are lacking but really aren’t.
Hi Peter... Such a sad story.. .I hope they find Riley today... I Love watching you... so easy to follow.... I so appreciate you
LOPS means low on power sorry! So I'd say 99.9% that's what he meant and his phone was low on battery and ended up going dead but his watch was also powered off at almost the exact time and if he was in water phones even tho they can be water proof can't transmit a signal for it to ping!
I thought so, as well. But Chris D., family spokesperson explained that from his iPhone records, it shows that he had plenty of power when it went dark. 😢
Just one more thing, his IPhone wasn't set up with the geographic, body heart rate or any helpful information. He only used his apple watch with his phone Bluetooth. It's so sad. I guess that he wasn't concerned about those apps. I didn't know that they need to be, confirmed, before they are engaged to operate. We were really hoping to get more data from the iPhone 🙏🏼 😢
@tinyhomestead6023 I'm assuming yes you do have to set those settings up and pairing them together for them to work. With Bluetooth all you do is hit a button!!
He as well as his devices are 99% in the water and no foul play.
99% chance he's in the river. 95% chance no foul play involved.
Totally agree. Too much to drink and or drugs. River is 90 feet deep. Body may or may not float to the top at that depth.
Body found 8 miles downstream today. Sad end, but at least it gives his family closure.
The parents stated that he was walking so disoriented because he had fallen down hard and hit his head. It was after he fell that he started walking this way.
@@stormihill7279none of what you just said has any factual basis.
Please continue to cover this case and the legal interest. I have 23yoF and 17yoM children and this scares the CRAP out of me. I do understand that he is an adult... but the NPD and DCSO have seriously dropped the ball. They are trying to state that their manpower shortage is keeping them from doing more than they have (which I find seriously disgusting considering that this is their JOB). My husband is a Detective Sergeant (for over 15 years)... I've seen LEO response to a missing child or adult. The situation of what is seen on the video would make it more important especially since he ran into a cement pillar and knocked himself flat on the ground. He is seen on video rubbing his head and his neck... I am concerned that he could have got a concussion or worse and this could be a very serious situation. #rileystrain #seesomethingsaysomething #bringrileyhome
My son lives downtown Nash ..he’s 23 , I’m terrified. God bless this family❤️
If any of my friends on a night out were kicked out of a club or venue we or at least some of us always left with them. If we hadn’t seen them in the club for a bit we would go look for them and ask the staff if we couldn’t see them. Never would we let them walk home alone!
In one of the videos by one of the friends, he said they had planned to leave but had to square up on the bar tab & by the time they got outside, he was gone.
My thoughts exactly!!! And where are these so called friends during this search for him??? One wouldn't need enemies with friends like he had!!!! Sad!! Sooo sooo sad!!!
This is beyond upsetting. Brought me to tears. This is unacceptable! Riley deserves to be found, and his case deserves to be treated with urgency and diligence. The FBI needs to get involved. This is every person's nightmare. Police need to do better.
The bar should have some liability here, imo. They clearly over-served him before they kicked him out, which is dangerous. If they're going to kick someone out they should be required to notify the police, call a cab for them, something. This is dangerous.
This is extremely misinformative and does not help the case. Financial records have shown that Riley was only served one drink and two waters. His behavior caused him to be kicked out. His friends should have made sure he was safe and not alone. It is not up to bars and restaurants to babysit patrons.
Please continue this conversation and break down more information in another video after Riley is found.
The media can stir up a case and create unnecessary drama. The card was under leaves. It could have been moved by people traipsing everywhere.
I feel for these parents and hope they receive the help and support they need. As for his so called ‘friends’ I wouldn’t call them that.
Also if a bar thinks a patron is intoxicated surely the right thing to do is put them in a cab home. 😡
💯
My thoughts and prayers for Riley and his family and all who love him 🙏💙 I will continue to pray each and every day that Riley is found safe.
Very good information about how a lawyer could help if loved one is missing.
Riley Strain needs to be found, ASAP. This is a former atty, who’s doing the interview. However, Ashley isn’t a professional though & not someone you want on your side due to her unprofessionalism in the past. Tip lines just don’t tell you they don’t have a “name”, they take the tip and get it to the police dept in that area.
To be that drunk from one drink the drink was either pure booze, he was drunk before he got to the bar, or someone slipped something into his drink.
Poor guy. I really feel for his family.
I didn’t sleep the entire first year my son left for college. This is a mother’s worse nightmare! Absolutely heartbreaking 💔
Glad you are covering this Peter. Thank you
He may have become CONCUSSED after the fall and didn’t scream during a fall down the embankment. If that’s where he is they’ll find him soon downstream.
I didn’t know anything about this! My heart goes out to the parents, I think missing is so much worse than dead. At least if you have a body you know what happened and where they are, missing is just never ending torture
I’m a college student and I believe He was saying to the girl “Good Looks” which means “thank you for looking out” or “Good looking out”
I didn't come up with this but thought it was a good guess. Cops
I think he meant, "Good, lost"
I assumed good lol when I swipe text lol sometimes it comes out looks @@camiburchett9602
I think he was drunk and couldn't type.
I have 5 grandchildren from 26 to 18 years of age and worry and pray for them everyday. One granddaughter and 4 grandsons, the boys always worries me more. I pray for these families 🙏🏻
Thank you for covering this. I caught another video, and I really liked yours and all the information you offered.
Thanks for your insight on Legal matters. Good channel for coverage. I think you would be a great asset to give your opinion on Delphi. Really needs a defense lawyer to help us through. Thanks!
Thank you for discussing this terrible situation. You’re the best!

So sorry for this family and this young man. They must be devastated with his remains being found.
It's so very sad that Riley wasn't found alive. I hope some answers to the questions come through and especially hope for comfort for his family.

Yes, many of us had years partying younger . But, I’m telling you that street in Nashville with the many bars is over the top!
Thank you, Peter! That is very helpful!
Would love for you to cover more of this story. It’s heartbreaking but thank you for caring
This is new for me--somehow I haven't heard about it before this. Thank you for teaching us what goes on at the=is stage of a case. I'll start praying for his safe return.

Appreciate you doing this. I’m a Nashville native and current resident, and a mom. I’m so upset about the lack of immediate response from authorities and the public, not to mention the friend group. This should not have happened. Your knowledge and experience is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for this Peter as much as trials interests me it's good to see what other situations lawyers can help. Also helps show people lawyers arnt just there to prosecute and defend.

Frat boys drink at the frat house before going out. It's cheaper that way.
Yes, and they may even do substances. At 6'5" and 150, he was a string bean
@@galaxybunny6706 When I was his age I was 5'3" and 105lbs. My legal limit was 2 drinks. So his legal limit wouldn't have been much higher.
I appreciated your comments about the role both positive and negative that a lawyer could play in a situation like this. Thank you for educating me.
Happy you're covering this!
Man...my heart breaks😢
I am also 6’6. My friends and family don’t think twice about sending me out alone. I don’t even second guess it. If he wasn’t a giant I think his buddy would of left with him.
He doesn’t look to me like he would do well in a fight.
He is only 165 lbs. not a giant
So true. His size alone is intimidating. 99% he is in the river and no foul play.
Peter I really would like to see you continue to review this topic. I like how you bring balance to things. Thank you for that.
Thank you for clarification.
Very Helpful Peter Ty❤🙏
I hope he is okay. I wish all families could be as close as riley's family.
Thanks for weighing in Peter. What I’ve learned from you and EDB- LAWYER- say it early and often! I’m so heartbroken for this family - this is slow torture (I have a 19 yo freshman frat boy myself 😭)💔
People asking why no one called him a taxi like that’s what they would’ve done..
What decent human wouldn’t? I’ve done it and had it done for me. Sad if you truly believe there aren’t helpful people out there, even if in this case it seems to reign true. ❤
Bars do it all the time here. Since I've moved out to a smaller area of the community the police will even come pick you up and take you home. On big party nights, like New Year's, St. Patrick's day etc. many of the towing companies in the area will also pick up your vehicle and tow it home for you for free.
My youngest is turning 21 in a few months and he wanted to solo a trip out to Miami. I’m going to buy him and my other son tickets to Vegas since I have family in that area and putting Apple tags in their shoes.
This is my biggest fear and I don’t want either of them ever going thru this. The world is too twisted of a place to not try your best to protect them, even if they are big ol kids who you would think would be safe based on their height, weight and gender. JMT prayers for Riley. 🕊️
He share location on his phone with you. Air tag not necessary. Riley's phone & Apple Watch stopped working at the same time.
You think Vegas is a safer option 😂

I've been following this story. I thought it was strange where the bank card was found & nothing else. I was also wondering if maybe his drink was spiked because they said they only served him 1 drink. I hope somehow he comes home🙏
And no evidence he drank the drink he was served! Be a good lawyer --- know that's an important fact.
He had been bar hopping with the frat boys. He was already blitzed when he got to the bar, hence "1 drink and 2 waters." They still served him a drink before kicking him out. It's a little misleading when the focus is on this one bar.
Totally agree re throwing this bar under the bus. He got kicked out for conduct. None of his frat bros got kicked out. He seemingly couldn't handle his alcohol. Where is self control? Personal accountability? This is sad but it seems to me the bad choices were made by Riley.
He was out with fraternity friends, they could have drank beforehand. Someone in that area also said that the water was higher the night he went missing then the day the Tik tokers found the card.
It’s really frustrating news stations aren’t giving out information like that because they want to add more drama
I can NOT believe I have arrived for a live!!!! So sad it's under sad circumstances.
Hope everyone is having a beautiful day 🤍
Please keep following this
That was informative. Thanks.
I hope the family does get an attorney and I pray for this young man to be reunited with his family.
Hello from Syracuse, NY!
the more i learn about this case the more questions i have. i feel for that family.
Thank you Peter.
I hate this sad story. So much to learn from it. Sure hope the family gets answers
Good afternoon from Wise, Virginia
I thought that you could help this family!! Peter, I am following this case like a hawk! If anyone runs into questions then I’m here to help!
Why so many people saw him Stumbling and Why did nobody or the Bar call him a Taxi??
I wonder if they offered. He did take off running. Which was kinda weird
Do you call a taxi for every stranger that's stumbling? That's not behavior that's generally accepted as necessary.
@aairsick No but I would if I saw a kid stumbling and I think the Bar should of called one if there going to kick someone out cuz the had enough
@@viveller2115 i can agree. If he s too drunk to be there and not able to let him stay and sober up. What was he doing to have to be removed? Was he being a problem? I just don't see why it's ok to throw him into the public streets like that and isolate him. But he did take off running from the place.. whole thing is just tragic, sad 😥
How about his 20 frat bros
Good morning Peter.❤
Great video Peter as always! Will you be covering the Karen Read case?
