      Thank you for saying this. The right attorney is really needed by this family. Both the “family friend “ Chris dingman running around jovially doing UA-cam interviews directly conflicting something the mom said during this and the press conference yesterday which was imo not handled well could be immensely improved by an experienced attorney. Someone who the family trusts professionally needs to advise them. Thanks

    As a mother, this was my biggest fear when my daughter was at university. I gave her a credit card and debit card for her and her girlfriends to get taxis from wherever they needed. No one should be put outside alone with no way to their hotel or home in a strange town, drunk or high. It's unthinkable that no one looked out for this young man's safety. A group drinking, they all get thrown out if one is acting up. You came together, you leave together. Period. I can't sleep at night from this story. 🙏

    This level of intoxication leaves a person vulnerable medically as well as socially, and he also hit his head. Acute alcohol intoxication alone could have killed him if he fell asleep somewhere and the temperature dropped. He could have vomited again and aspirated. He could have been bleeding on his brain the entire time he was walking. I don't know why parents think fraternities are good for their kids. Half of their members develop lifelong alcohol abuse. Nobody has mentioned what kind of experience Riley had with alcohol. They seem to think he was drugged in the bar. Police have not listed possessions that could be missing. One of the girls who found his ATM card said he had a bright blue wallet. How did she know that? He may have been robbed for the iPhone 15. There is a common phenomenon in the UK where drunken men go to the water's edge to pee, their blood pressure drops from the bladder being voided, and they fall in.

    • @dilafng
      @dilafng Місяць тому +5

      Micturition syncope (fainting after urination) can happen even if a person/man is not drunk. It happened to someone in my family. He hit his head on the bathroom counter and was found bleeding from the head at about 3:00 am. It was terrifying not knowing what happened.

      There have been about 8 men in Buckhead (Atlanta) who were recently drugged at the same bars, different times. They were walked out and put in the back of a car and driven around. They could barely talk or move. Their bank accounts were all drained of 10-13K each. Then they were dropped off with a different victims phones and wallets. Same thing in NY but apparently two of the four male victims ended up dead. Drugging males has become a thing and I think it looks like Riley could have experienced that. I sure hope not because that’s terrifying, but it could still be a possibility.

    This is being looked at by many people here in Nashville locally. The family is in contact with the 'Cajun Navy', and they all had a press release yesterday. It seems obvious to me that the family is not satisfied with the police searches. He turned the wrong way from the bar if he was going to the hotel. Also, this is a very busy drinking area, and to me, it brings questions to mind as bars throwing intoxicated people out on the streets.There is a heavy LE presence diwn there, but it us never enough because they seem to be there to help the businesses. This is so heartbreaking.

      The bars are not responsible for babysitting once patrons leave. That's unrealistic. They're doing right by checking IDs, cutting off people who appear to have had enough or those who are acting out. That's the extent of their responsibilities. People saying the buddy system have it right.

I do understand that he is an adult... but the NPD and DCSO have seriously dropped the ball. They are trying to state that their manpower shortage is keeping them from doing more than they have (which I find seriously disgusting considering that this is their JOB). My husband is a Detective Sergeant (for over 15 years)... I've seen LEO response to a missing child or adult. The situation of what is seen on the video would make it more important especially since he ran into a cement pillar and knocked himself flat on the ground. He is seen on video rubbing his head and his neck... Bars do it all the time here. Since I've moved out to a smaller area of the community the police will even come pick you up and take you home. On big party nights, like New Year's, St. Patrick's day etc. many of the towing companies in the area will also pick up your vehicle and tow it home for you for free.

    This is my biggest fear and I don’t want either of them ever going thru this. The world is too twisted of a place to not try your best to protect them, even if they are big ol kids who you would think would be safe based on their height, weight and gender. JMT prayers for Riley. 🕊️

      He had been bar hopping with the frat boys. He was already blitzed when he got to the bar, hence "1 drink and 2 waters." They still served him a drink before kicking him out. It's a little misleading when the focus is on this one bar.

    • @galaxybunny6706
      @galaxybunny6706 Місяць тому

      Totally agree re throwing this bar under the bus. He got kicked out for conduct. None of his frat bros got kicked out. He seemingly couldn't handle his alcohol. Where is self control? Personal accountability? This is sad but it seems to me the bad choices were made by Riley.

    • @cady__
      @cady__ Місяць тому

      He was out with fraternity friends, they could have drank beforehand. Someone in that area also said that the water was higher the night he went missing then the day the Tik tokers found the card.
