    This is EXACTLY why cameras need to stay in court rooms! Violation of someone’s rights needs to be called out and acted on (by the appropriate individuals).

      @@santiedormehl3042 I'm assuming you're referring to the current high profile case in New York and I would disagree. That does not show judicial bias as much as it shows the defendant's unwillingness to participate in the judicial process. The rulings against the defendant is simply because the defendant is not following proper procedure and simple doing everything they can to delay the trial by any means.

      and what are your thoughts on the executive branch using federal institutions to attack an opposing political party?
      (For the record, I don't support Biden or Trump. I believe we need better candidates, congressional reform, and the abolution of corporate lobbying-- and thats just to start. But watching this administration illegally conspire to attack their leading opponent with ridiculous charges they only pursued for the reason that he is the leading opponent, is even more scary to me than what they are accusing Trump of doing.)

    • @kaynoism
      @kaynoism 17 днів тому

      @@chilltarts see that's the thing is that isn't what's happening. None of the charges pursued against Trump have anything to do with Biden or his DOJ. The charges are brought by various states with no direct connection to Biden. They aren't being brought by the US attorney general and I don't think their federal charges at all. So the idea that it's a political attack by the president to eliminate his opposing candidate is just not true. It's what Trump wants people to believe though. And I suppose it is working. And even if it was true, if Trump was Innocent it wouldn't matter. They aren't fabricating charges out of thin air. These are things Trump allegedly actually did. Whether they're small or large they are felony acts. Is it wrong for a prosecutor to try a felony case if there is evidence? No. Should Trump get a pass simply because he used to be president. Absolutely not.

      I absolutely agree because judges are “ELECTED officials!!” Unfortunately, the main stream media/MSM, including all “local media outlets” are all owned by 6 major globalist corporations who no longer provide real “investigate reporting” for “We The People” in order to ensure our government and elected officials are honest and working on our behalf!! Instead, the MSM is BIASED and controlled by the 6 parent companies that own them, and the “news” they are allowed to disseminate to the public is heavily censored and controlled. Everyone eventually learned this during the last “health plandemic” as the MSM “pushed the narrative” dictated by the World Health Organization/WHO globalists and they withheld and even censored critical info about effective treatments that were saving lives, and they withheld and censored serious side effects with the jab!! The MSM has been weaponized against us to push out the SAME “globalist political agenda” these major corporate conglomerates support!! It’s SERIOUS guys, the WHO is in the process right NOW of FINALIZING a GLOBAL “International Pandemic TREATY” for the NEXT plandemic and our current administration SUPPORTS this treaty, and IF we sign on to it, the WHO (a foreign GLOBALIST organization) will dictate everything we in America do, including mandatory lockdowns again & masking, what medicines we can use, mandatory jabs, censorship again of what THEY deem as “misinformation,” etc., and Americans will LOSE their constitutional FREEDOMS and RIGHTS in making our OWN health decisions!! Not only that, but this “treaty” will allow the WHO to even dictate and control the “shipments” of critical supplies, goods and services during the next plandemic!!

      Other context: One of the first witnesses the prosecution called was the defendants wife, they spent 6 hours questioning her, attempting to impeach her, and cross their own witness(without seeking hostile status) before turning her over to the defense cross.
      Thus far all the prosecution witnesses have gone from experts, to "I don't know what that means" for the most simple of questions on cross.

      the annoying thing is that for that to happen, this specific judge has to rule on a motion seeking to recuse himself or to grant a mistrial based upon his own misconduct. It’s ridiculous. The best judges will ask another judge in their courthouse to hear and rule on motions like that, but it’s not required. so either he recuses himself (unlikely) or the prosecutor does the right thing and joins in the defense’s motion for recusal/mistrial. I have seen that happen before in cases nowhere near this egregious, and a joint motion was enough of a wake up call for the judge to do the right thing. It’s in the prosecution’s interest to make sure this judge doesn’t destroy their chance at a conviction that sticks.

    He always takes long breaks 15-30 min each. They don’t meet on Mondays. I haven’t seen one day where they went past 4ish. Prosecutors recalled several of their witnesses to go over the exact same things ad nauseam.
    This is a case of a man who lives about a mile from the border, who has illegals with guns and drugs crossing his property. Allegedly there was a shot before he even went outside to check his property when he saw them. The police and border patrol came and did a “search” of the property when it happened. The officers kept saying it wasn’t a full search - just quick to make sure there was no one around anymore. They had a canine who found one casing near the house then a bit later an officer found a handful more in a similar location. The trajectory of the bullet was low on the body to high but the body was found in a wash which was lower than the house where they say he shot from. He says he shot in the air as a warning. No way he hit the guy with a shot like that in the way the body was hit.
    If he is convicted this is horrible for the ranchers near the border. They won’t be able to protect themselves or their land from anyone illegally crossing into the US.

    I've been watching this trial. So many people with multi changing stories. Can't believe the state even brought this case and I pray George is found not guilty. As for this incident, my mind was blown when the judge up and changed the rules as to the time for testimony. Totally unfair to the defendants rights. While we didn't get to see the proffer as to why the defense needed to continue their cross, it seems he may have had a change of heart (or been shown his need for a change of heart) though. On Friday he told the jury that the trial would go on longer than expected and for however long needed.
