As a recent Jimny owner and driven close to 900kms in 5days I agree with the fact that the Jimny is a superb city vehicle.

@@powerdriftofficial it absolutely is. And even power on offer is sufficient unless you're racing down the road. The ride quality allows you to barely slow down for bad patches where every fast boy racer will have to slow down. You don't need to in a Jimny.
Jimny is us mountain people car, we need a practical car not a showoff, thats why you will see almost everyone owning one in manali,sissu.
It surely feels at home when the roads end!
Jimny and the hate continues…i am happy we atleast got it here in india…it’s such a lovely machine…the best off-roader under 20 lakhs…and while youtubers and keyboardarmy would be quick to make a mockery out of it i say this with extensive first hand experience…here in the south we love this car…when it came out the prices were a bit high but still who knew the mavhine gambled on it…two of my friends got jimny and we tested the hell out of it…the abuse potential is something i am seeing only after the original thar crde…or the gypsy…its incredible how well this takes abuse…it needs a bit of work to make it the goat it really is…at the end of our trails we were so interested talking about jimny and how it compared to our thar and the gypsy and we were all smiles to have experienced it at last…tho it may not survive that long in india…for a country where people buy pointless cars like the thar rwd just for the sake of showing it off the jimny lacks quiet a bit what the indian audience needs from an suv…for the lucky few who are buying this…keep this well and see it appreciate after its gone

Already been to this location and infact more ahead of it in our Grand Vitara and Thar. This video trail is very basic where 4L is not required that much except in slope of hell part. 😅

Might be a great car , but the sales are struggling, and i believe it's the price at which it's sold at .. I feel it's overpriced and bleak in quality for the pricing ..

Don’t be fooled by people laughing on this car…it is well built but yes the fenders are typical maruti light…safety wise all it misses is ADAS other wise it would have been a 5 star claiming car…given body on frame structures are more cumbersome to achieve safety with i will not say it would have acheived a full 5 stars rating neither do i dismiss the possibility but it is still a strong contender for 4 stars at worst it’s a 3…so in any case it is very decent on that front.

How long was this being redesigned and quality tested?
Long enough that the vehicle is sorted in general. Remember. The Jimny has been in production as a three door since 2021. The four door extension and subsequent testing was done since that time with enough kilometres done up to ensure car is mostly niggle free and reliable.

Even i thought Jimny was shit, until i was on a jimny, My Good Lord my perspective and the view for jimny was totally changed we were climbing a rocky mountain to reach our resort on the tophill we had 5 people on the car the jimny did it with ease ,those 4×4 was just bliss, it had some power lag i wish the jimny had some more ps and torque other than that my ride was beautiful after getting down from the car i was just going round the jimny and regretting of making fun it, last but not the least you hate or love it, itszz a cute little beast

Under 10L on road for a 4x4 off roading SUV with 1.5L engine. Bhai 10L me so called compact SUVs v nh aati. Bro think logically this car has engine similar to brezza with proper 4x4 setup and much more then how can you expect it to be priced below 10L just because it is small in size.

Why so much content everywhere about the Jimny? If Maruti wants to sell more Jimnys, they should just launch a 2wd 3door Jimny with a 4x4 option. Give us the 3door 2wd Jimny instead of promoting the 5door endlessly.
