- The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is possibly going to be the most modified car of 2023 and for good reason. It might be decent, but there is a lot of room for improvement too. So we decided to go find one of the earliest cars delivered, one that has already had a BIG bunch of aftermarket parts installed onto it. And good, high-quality parts! Parts that cost nearly 1/3rd of the cost of the car itself. Is it worth the money? Is it better to drive? Cyrus finds out!

Due to 5 door car, jimny feels more practical than trar or gurkha. Still 140 hp 5 door gurkha had unmatched potential. Hope force brings something like that again.

Hey Cyrus, I heard you speak about this review on the podcast and also mentioned about it being a genuine JDM mod. Your T-shirt with the Japanese script is appreciated and noted. I have also observed the watches sport in the videos.
When you spoke about this car and you reviewing it, I thought of what you would be doing in this review, also thought you would sport a Japanese watch, a seiko or a Casio maybe. Why the omega though?

@powerdrift family -Please please just ask maruthi to re-launch Kizashi back. Even if it is a 40 lakh price tag without any changes... No changes means none. I believe it's one of the most beautiful cars that have been grazed on the Indian terrain. Just because we were not ready to accept a premium car back then doesn't mean that it won't work now. The design is eternal like the first generation of civic . Its such a timeless design. And atleast if you can just put up a video of this design masterclass from maruthi.

This video was so vague.
O so this top secret suspension setup is verrrrry expensive.. and o it's much better handling than the stock jimny and o it meets all the regulations of japan (why this should be important we weren't told, like who cares about japanese regulations.. regulations concerning legality on the roads of japan or engineering wise so they don't blow up or to export, or.. we would have hoped for a little more info on these matter, if i may say so).
And the mods list just ended before starting it seems 😅
Does McLaren have an offroad vehicle from the 90's that I am unaware of? Cuz these tires r inspired by them. I need to do some research.
We r waiting for our zeta variant of the jimny after coming to terms with the price but my brother's been bent on changing the tires immediately.
May I ask for your opinion on the stock tires efficiency for daily use like on Indian horrible roads and weekend drives into the hills. We live in Gurgaon.

What is the percentage of change from stock size for 16 ?
As per government
1. You can not change color of vehicle unless took rto permit
2. Lift/down your car is illegal in India
3. Aftermarket exhaust are illegal (unless it is certificatied)
These all are illegal Bt people still do that and they are running on normal road which is terrified
Government should fix the potholes first before educating people country with the highest population and the average tax payer doesn't even get good roads
With Rs. 500 in your pocket any modification is allowed. If you know you know. 😉

And havy vehicles which are overloaded that's the main reason on potholes because u can't make road which can handle such dense load on per sq meter

Not all people does all the things like wrong side parking, wrong side driving etc. If the government were stringent in actions they wouldn't repeat it. And by your theory roads in foreign countries doesn't have heavy vehicles? They have trucks and RVs that weigh much more than average crowded bus here.Your logic is on another level

Then don't national highways are better constructed no doubt but local Roads are not very well.

Is there any advantage and cost to fit a Turbo?
With the Greddy turbo (with catalytic converter) the Jimmy can go upto 175 hp with a tune and 122 without. Torque bumps up to 179 nm. It’s a premium, around 4-5 lakhs overall
So with these mods and a slap on turbo kit on a alpha mt thunder edition the total amount would go to around 24-25 lakhs
@@YashX8 a little more, you’ll have to add a better braking system and wider tyres to accommodate that. But yeah, with a base model mt you can have a lot of fun with a budget of 25l.

Looking at the product catalog, it looks like the lift is achieved via spring spacers instead of longer springs, which is a bit meh, and from the articulation part of this video, I'd say it's ruined the whole point of a solid front axle. This kit might improve on road manners but off-road I think it's going in the wrong direction. Best Poser Jimny might be a more apt title for this video.
