The thing about Commander Fox is, he didn't face any normal Clone Trooper when he shot Fives. For doing his job also stun doesn’t always work it also would effect the nerves. It’s like the real police he was reaching and they had to make a fast decision
Alternatively, Fives could have NOT grab his weapon and tried to shoot him or his troops… or tried to kill Palpatine under literally everyones assumption that he’s JUST the Chancellor, and not an evil basterd… or held Rex and Anakin hostage in the first place. There is literally no excuse you could make for Fives dude. Intentions or meaning go out the window, as this was the perfect framing, and that’s the point. Not even Fives’ drugged state cuts it, people with actual common sense know that.😑
I feel bad for Fox. He never got a chance to learn to express himself. His personality never got to develop and deviate from the Kamino standard. If anything, he only became colder, being the head of Palpatine’s corrupt Shocktroopers and Military Police. He’s probably exactly the kind of trooper Palpatine would’ve wanted for every unit. I also love that his Phase 2 armor paint scheme is the same as but completely inverted to the standard Shocktroopers
To me, when Fox shot Fives, it was always another Umbara imo. Fox was no more to blame than any other clone on Umbara, so i never hated his character. I really pitied him tbh.
1. Tarkin is not guilty, he, like Fox, saw the fact of the murder without Ahsoka’s guilt being denied. 2. The clone went crazy, tried to kill a Kamino representative, tried to kill the head of the republic, took a senior Jedi general hostage, and also posed a threat to Fox's guys, this is already a 100% death penalty. In addition, let me remind you that a stun shot flies slower than a standard shot, Fives simply could have time to shoot at Fox or his people, even if it was a shock shot, then shock shots hit the nervous system hard and can be fatal, so a combat shot was the best solution.
@@DX16 Well, yes, the only suspect in the cell, who could have done this, hmhmhmhm, an invisible spirit or Ahsoka, who was alone in the cell, HMMMMMM, WELL NATURALLY AN INVISIBLE SPIRIT. @@josuesosaa7 But the Chancellor most likely told Fox to execute Fives so he wouldn’t tell the Jedi council about what his true intentions were. A lot of characters throughout the Clone Wars had opportunities to reveal who the Sith Lord really was and what he was planning, but most of them either fought for themselves, kept their mouths shut or nobody would’ve believed them.
Spoilers if you haven’t seen the comic: In Star Wars: Darth Vader #10 (2018) Or in other words, in 19 BBY, he obeys Orders 66 without Question and shot those Jedi traitors down cold, and he and his men secure the Jedi temple. He meets up and talks to Darth Vader about what he and his men did during Order 66. Darth Vader tells Commander Fox to give him his description which he ended up basically disobeyed Vader’s order. So anyways, the Coruscant Guard clones end up finding and started to think that Darth Vader was a Jedi which they end up shooting at Vader. Fox was just standing when all of a sudden he realized that his men were shooting at him. He ordered his men to go to a specific location and to stop firing at Darth Vader. Darth Vader asks Fox as to why he didn’t give his men his description . Fox was shaking and nervous. Fox was trying to explain as to why he didn’t give His men his description but while he was trying to explain to Vader, he snaps Commander Fox’s neck killing him instantly. There’s a lesson to learn from Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker don’t make mistakes thrice 1: Arresting and trying to Kill Ahoska 2: Killing Anakin’s/Vaders men (Fives) And 3: Not giving your men His description. It’s debatable if CC-1010/Commander Fox deserved his death/execution or not, but to me, he did.
It's hard to hate Fox, because he was basically in "factory mode" through his entire career and was never given the chance to develop his own personality or interests. He was nowhere near as bad as Faie or Bacara, who were given the same freedom as Rex and the other clones out in the field, but showed zero compassion for anyone
He never worked with Jedi he didn’t get the chance to have the decision making Rex had he only was really around the chancellor, senate, and other clones he doesn’t really get what all the other got
I really think fox is over hated 1 the droid who shut down the power they basically fooled everyone and they had convincing ID so can’t blame him 2 the reason he arrested Asoka was because her hands were up like she was force chocking so can’t blame him 3 the reason he shot fives is because palpaten probably ordered him to
Fitting that Anakin ( vader) will kill commander Fox without though in the comics for shooting him by mistake when the order was "fire on any jedi escaping" though clones didn't really get the memo that the red lightsaber was empire . Haha to them lightsaber = Jedi
Fox isn’t as bad as ppl make him. Honestly the only times he was definitely wrong is when he was chasing Ahsoka in the hallway and tried to kill her with lethal bolts. That and forcing Fives to panic and not stunning him. Like a lot of irl cops, he’s over zealous and reactive, but he’s not a monster
What was wrong with him when he fired live fire at Ahsoka? From his perspective, it all looked like Ahsoka first strangled an important suspect, then ran away and caused physical harm to a squad of guards, and then killed several other soldiers in the corridor. The use of combat weapons is completely justified. Also with Fives, the stun round travels slower than the combat round. When Fives took the gun and Fox fired the stun, during this period of time Fives could also have time to shoot. Even if Fives fired a stun gun, it would have a strong impact on the nervous system of the creature it was caught in, even to the point of death.
@@chopper3940You’re right about the Ahsoka case the more I think about it. However not so much with Fives. Fox knew fives was in mental turmoil and was unstable, rushing someone like that is stupid. He could have easily snuck up behind him and stunned him while Fives was talking to Anakin and Rex, but he didn’t. In all his genius, he bum rushed Fives causing him to panic and act irrationally. @@Crimsonlupus, it’s not his job to care what state of mind he’s in. @@ChickenLiver911You do realize the coruscant guard is basically military police right? You’re missing the point just for the sake of arguing. If you have the chance to do a non lethal take down, you should. Which ironically fox did try to do, (executed horribly) but he didn’t just pop fives on sight. Where he went wrong is when he literally took all his men and ran at him, keep in mind fives already didn’t trust anyone close to palpatines authority, hence why he was talking to Rex and Anakin. All fox could have done is quietly gotten closer and stunned him. That would have been the safest and most logical option. Again, the irl connection/logic applies. No rational mind bum rushes ppl like that, it’s stupid.

The empire almost completely destroyed the drug trade, but the good rebels released the influential bigwigs of these organizations and, through their fault, the black sun rejoiced. Oh, there are so many problems with the rebels, but we will close our eyes to this, we will close our eyes to the fact that in the empire, taking into account the fact that there was totalitarianism, the worlds were given freedom, they could have a foreign policy, an army and even planetary defensive structures, but why then you don't want to notice it. As I already said, you were told who was bad and who was good and you believed, like dividing children into good and bad, without understanding who actually did more evil.
@@chopper3940 Fox is the savior of the galaxy. Praise be Fox
@@AzulStryer Unfortunately for us, history is written by the victors, and since the republic won, history has been completely rewritten, highlighting the republic as freedom fighters and the empire as oppressors, although this is absolutely not true, the rebels were simply terrarists, and the Empire was a stable state where in the end they lived better than in the republic.
The fact is that Fox is a hero and history has been rewritten, that Fox is a traitor.
The thing about Commander Fox is, he didn't face any normal Clone Trooper when he shot Fives.
He faced a xlone who by the medical book avted like a crazy person, escaped from Kamino, threatened to kill the Chancellor of the Galactic Republic and then forcefully held a Jefi General and the Captain of the Torrent Company in captivity.
He acted completely within protocol and moral sense.

Not all the fans hate him
Edit: I personally don’t hate him, but I can understand why some do even if I don’t agree with their reasoning
@@Haven_Security_PMC you could literally say the same about the kill setting
Stunning would have been just as effective to bring fives down
'fox being scripted as a bad guy for 4:55' could have also been the title of this video.
I love how everyone just stands and shoots at each other instead of seeking cover.
True
I think Fox was there to show us the difference in personnality between clones who worked under Jedi Generals and those who didn't.
Wow, Fox, you had the jump on the suspect and had him out numbered. He could've just stunned or shot him from cover. But no had to run at him yelling.
Not even Fives’ drugged state cuts it, people with actual common sense know that.😑
This is a great video!

I’m starting to feel like under that mask doesn’t lie a man but a monster……
I feel bad for Fox. He never got a chance to learn to express himself. His personality never got to develop and deviate from the Kamino standard. If anything, he only became colder, being the head of Palpatine’s corrupt Shocktroopers and Military Police.
He’s probably exactly the kind of trooper Palpatine would’ve wanted for every unit.
I also love that his Phase 2 armor paint scheme is the same as but completely inverted to the standard Shocktroopers
You know for such an advanced society you’d think they’d have security cameras in jails
Are there air conditioners?

To me, when Fox shot Fives, it was always another Umbara imo. Fox was no more to blame than any other clone on Umbara, so i never hated his character. I really pitied him tbh.
Look, I understand he was just doing his job, but I forgive the fact that his ONLY CONFIRMED KILL IN THE ENTIRE DUCKING SHOW WAS ANOTHER CLONE.
He is so overhated!
Fox is awesome
Happy new year to new Republic.😂

I don’t think people understand that someone had to kill fives, it wouldn’t have made any sense if he lived.
@@hampter1534 at least if he did, the republic would have been better equipped to handle Order 66 and the mutiny of their own army
Commander Fox was right in arresting Ahsoka, it was Tarkin who is to blame. As for Fives, bro literally could’ve just stunned him
Fives would've probably died anyways even if Fox stunned him

Best clone ever.
Ngl his armor is so freaking cool
Dude looks cool
After what Fox did to Anakin’s friends, it was no doubt Ani was going to snap his neck the next time he messes with him
I don’t want to be mean but Fox is a terrible clone. He let those droids into the generator without question and then they blew it up. Then he accused Ahsoka of a crime she clearly didn’t commit. And worst of all he killed Fives, his own brother. I mean what is wrong with this guy. Couldn’t he stunned Fives? But no. He had to kill him because the chancellor said so.
Commander fox doesn’t deserve the hate
2:50
I feel like Anakin could’ve used the Jedi Mind Trick to control Commander Fox and the Shock Troopers and let him through. It’s been shown that Clones are weak minded, and are susceptible to it.
Fox does not deserve the hate... He was just his job. And fives, well, you dont grab a blaster and aim it at the squad of troopers, with the commander telling him to stand down and not grab the gun.
You also don’t aim a gun at the police and expect them to do nothing

absolutely the only reason i liked him was the colour of his armor
What did he do to Ahsoka? Arrested her at the scene of the crime? Wow, how bad Fox is, he arrested the possible killer of an important prisoner.
How bad Fox is, he shot a clone, who first went crazy and started repeating something about non-existent chips, inappropriately attacked the head of the republic, and then threatened the physical health of Fox's guys. Let me remind you that even the stunning mode seriously affects the nervous system of living beings.
He didn’t shoot Fives in “cold blood”, he told fives to surrender then Fives picked up a blaster and pointed it at him
@@josuesosaa7 But the Chancellor most likely told Fox to execute Fives so he wouldn’t tell the Jedi council about what his true intentions were. A lot of characters throughout the Clone Wars had opportunities to reveal who the Sith Lord really was and what he was planning, but most of them either fought for themselves, kept their mouths shut or nobody would’ve believed them.
@@matthewcrawford4177 Fox told Fives to stand down he didn’t want to shoot Fives, he only shot him until he raised his weapon at him
Spoilers if you haven’t seen the comic:
In Star Wars: Darth Vader #10 (2018)
Or in other words, in 19 BBY, he obeys Orders 66 without Question and shot those Jedi traitors down cold, and he and his men secure the Jedi temple.
There’s a lesson to learn from Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker don’t make mistakes thrice
1: Arresting and trying to Kill Ahoska
2: Killing Anakin’s/Vaders men (Fives)
And 3: Not giving your men His description.
It’s debatable if CC-1010/Commander Fox deserved his death/execution or not, but to me, he did.
He didn’t he was following orders like every other clone
Palpatine: Commander Fox, Execute Order 66
Commander Fox: It’ll be my pleasure Lord Sidious
It's hard to hate Fox, because he was basically in "factory mode" through his entire career and was never given the chance to develop his own personality or interests. He was nowhere near as bad as Faie or Bacara, who were given the same freedom as Rex and the other clones out in the field, but showed zero compassion for anyone

1 the droid who shut down the power they basically fooled everyone and they had convincing ID so can’t blame him
2 the reason he arrested Asoka was because her hands were up like she was force chocking so can’t blame him
3 the reason he shot fives is because palpaten probably ordered him to
And Fives pointed a gun at him
He said bumblebee
Ask anyone from law enforcement, what Fox did was beyond moronic. Ofc most fans agree palpatine gave him orders to shoot fives (for obvious reasons). So this automatically assumes he had Fives well being in mind to begin with, he didn’t.
@@Crimsonlupus Well, you answered your own questions yourself. The main reason Fox killed Fyaz was because of an order.
@@Crimsonlupus, it’s not his job to care what state of mind he’s in. A rogue clone takes a general and a captain hostage, both highly decorated, and then when you confront him he reaches for a blaster. That’s grounds to be shot. “aSk AnYbOdY iN iRl LaW eNfOrCeMeNt.” This isn’t real life and also isn’t really law enforcement, this is the military. Different rules apply, especially to clones.
@@ChickenLiver911You do realize the coruscant guard is basically military police right? You’re missing the point just for the sake of arguing. I’m making the connection between real life and fantasy because the same logic applies. You don’t bum rush ppl in an ill mental state, thats moronic.
A bit disappointing to not see fox’s face lol.

Fox hate makes no sense, considering he's only doing his job and probably has a very difficult job. He killed Fives because he had to.
