- Each trilogy has a trio, and obviously these 3 are the ones. Anakin being reckless, Ahsoka absorbing all of it when being dragged into the fray and Obi Wan just trying to keep everyone alive is the closest thing they got to see as a family, and let's be honest, even that's enough for a galactic war
it's so funny how obi-wan was fully willing to just sacrifice luminara to the geonosian parasite worms for his own scientific interests and nobody ever brings it up again, including luminara

It's actually depressing how light hearted and comical Clone Wars starts and how depressing it becomes gradually. Even the tone and coloring feels more bleak overtime.
You see bits that were obviously meant for kids and then as you get to the end, you get to see the helmets and graves of clones we practically grew up with.
The only defense I can think of is that it usually ends in darkness.
... especially once Vader is reborn as the feared mask man we know and -loved- feared.
It makes sense, since it was basically going from the start of the wars, where the fighting was still fresh and people had hope, towards the end where everyone has been worn down by constant battles, the loss of friends, and the general stresses of war. Which is part of the point since Palpatine wanted to weaken the Jedi and the Republic to make it easy for him to take over by the time of the events of Revenge of the Sith.
Well it is war.
At some point, it has to get sad whether we want it or not.
These truly were before the dark times. Before the Empire…

Uh… not really? My family and I dick around like this with each other, but never once have I felt that I couldn’t trust them when it came down to it because of that… There was *A LOT* more potent factors at play that made Anakin feel the way he did than just some sarcastic banter between friends…

Even so, Obi-Wan and Anakin also have no problem taking things seriously and being realistic about situations. Look at the movies and the Clone Wars, if anything they're more serious because of how many difficult situations arise. So yeah, utter crap.

Whenever Ahsoka has to share room with or stay with Anakin and Obi-wan for either a night or some nights, Ahsoka has to put up with their noisy sleeping habits. I bet they all weren't anywhere near of having fun. They just made jokes to make the war slightly more bearable. In their mind, they were probably desperate of ending that war as fast as possible.
And in the end they were all so exhausted mentally and physically that it was quite easy to manipulate Anakin to become Vader.
You could see from season to season that they were less and less funny and quite angry more often. Especially Anakin.
Notice how the clone wars series must be like 75 hours long, and these small moments of actual fun only last 8:40

Every trilogy has a trio. The Prequels had Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka (Sometimes Padmè). The Original Trilogy had Luke, Leia, and Han. The Sequels had Rey, Finn, and Poe (Some times Rose and Chewie)
