The main reason I am considering upgrading to the larger Nest Hub is because I have my hub set up to show photos from my Google Photos account when it is idle. It is kind of like a slideshow. Since I have many many photos from my camping and backpacking trips, the majority of the images have LOTS of detail. It would be nice to have a bigger display to properly display the photos when viewed from a distance.
I have a lenovo alarm clock with google in it. It kinda sucks, but it's been nice to use for music. Should I upgrade? I would mostly use it as an alarm clock, but the sleep tracker, games, youtube access, etc. as well as the slightly bigger display seems cool!
It’s pretty cool but does seem to bother me at night at my bed side table because of the bright digits, I’m sure you can adjust the display, but then again if the price is right I’d definitely get it
@@tech-asher thank you! Yeah after updating the software mine just broke down this morning. So yeah I'm probably gonna buy the Google nest hub! Thanks bro!
I didn’t want just the clock showing for the video! Knowing what the temperature is outside is because my kids want to play outside all the time and need to know if it’s too hot or too cold outside.
But the nest hub max cost’s double the amount and with an extra $100 you can get an iPad so I think for the night stand it’s better to go with the nest hub 2nd gen because for the price it offers 95% of what the nest hub max is capable of, I got mine for just $54 on sale so I think for that it’s really worth it
Its mind blowing the nest hub has no temperature display. i guess google needs a few more billion so they can pay a software engineer to enable temperature on the display.
That’s correct the speaker housing is more visible from the back. The Nest hub max speaker housing has 2 tweeters in the front and a 75mm woofer in the back.
If you’re think about buying one of these, you’re behind the curve by a couple years. It’s only getting worse and I’m pissed I spent the money setting up my home with Google. It used to work perfectly, before they lost a lawsuit for stolen Tech. I’m here to give warning. One day you will be woken up to google talking. If you tell google to stop talking, it will tell you “nothing is playing right now”. It’s infuriating and it wakes people up. If you hear something in your house and need it to be quiet, pray those few seconds of it talking won’t cost you and your families life from something like a home invasion. I give commands and it tells me that device hasn’t been set up yet when it has and works on the second or 3rd try. You’ll have to repeat yourself. It will start listening when it’s dead silent in the house (no prompt). It will randomly say “something went wrong try again in a few seconds”. I really wish it would executor command without giving a verbal confirmation, like just do it and don’t make noise. Especially after a certain time at night. The camera now only kicks on SOME times when it sees me. The time I don’t need it to work at all. When I’m not near it or home it doesn’t work unless I reset it. You know, those times I need it to work the most.
Which one do you have and did you upgrade ?
Nice to see a video like this without an affiliate link. Automatic thumbs up.

That’s a good idea like a picture frame 🖼️

Can we add others apps to google nest hub
Why did you constantly need to know what the temperature is?

The man loves is weather...let em
I myself have 5 clock widgets on my android phone home screens. Lol...each one is a different look.
Yes the endless discussing of the temperature feature was pretty silly as few/no one really care and would never pay $100 more for that
Matter 1.0 is now available
There is only a speaker in the front, under the display. The back has a fan or heatsink to cool the components

I love my google nest hub max
hi.. very nice. except the screen size, what quality does the max have which the hub normal does not have? thank you
better sound, it got a 2.1 system instead of just 1 full range speaker
You didn’t say the price you’d pay. What’s your sweet spot to buy?
Nest hub max 30 inch
I was wondering if you can put a password on the device so that my kids can’t get in there and watch UA-cam or use the Internet without permission?
Wondering the same

Does Hub Max support Bahasa Indonesia?
I googled and saw some google devices have support for Bahasa Indonesia, not sure about the Hub Max.
Also check out my review on the Nest Hub Max compared to the rotating Amazon 10” Show 10 display ua-cam.com/video/j6P_N7pbEQw/v-deo.html

I want google nest hub on December 20th on 2023
