Older games are gonna be restricted to the more comedic reviews (e.g. the Bounty Hunter one). No plans on doing any Spidey games except the new one being developed by Insomniac.

Yes! Start new and fresh with XVI and please for the love of everything that's FF make the story complete with either a well done simple story or a mind blowing, fleshed out characters and development, story! At this point I don't care if it's hack and slash. Just make a story based FF and get back to what made the series so good

Great review, buddy! There were some minor point I either disagreed with or felt somewhat differently but, this was a pretty succinct compilation of my own ideas of the game and it helped clarify a few ideas I could quite put into words.

Having played the Witcher 3 just recently, I think I'm too spoiled to tolerate this games lack of good storytelling, sidemissions and travel-system. I think I'll pass on this one.
Thorsten Benecke You can only accept Hunt quest once....FUCKING ONCE!!! This game is shallow and superficial, exploration is mundane, this game somehow made me appreciate the ff13 series.
Am I the only one that liked Chapter 13? I felt like it really catches the feeling of hopelessness. And as the horror that the Empire/main villain has is slowly revealed it gives an eerie vibe, that combined with the lack of all the things that made you wreck your opponents, it almost feels like a Horror game were you're just trying to survive. This would also explained the "random" jumpscares, as it's meant to invoke a sense that you're never save.
And Noctis finally being forced to use the ring and accept his responsibility as king was great aswel imho, the ring btw is an awesome weapon and really feels powerful (even tho it's not that great later on in the game).
Now if everyone feels that it is a bit out of place, with that I would agree, but it's far from the worst chapter imo and gets way too much flag.
I agree. Personally I loved chapter 13.
As for the ring not being too great later on...eh....It can one shot Adamantoise.

+The Unusual Suspect Have you played Bravely Default for the 3DS? It's basically a modern interpretation of the turn-based Final Fantasies. I played it myself and it wa spretty fun. It even made experience and job point grinding tolerable for me. There's also a good amount of strategy in the gameplay required to beat some of the harder bosses and enemy arrangements. If you haven't, I think you should check it out because many Final Fantasy fans have approved of it, not to mention it's developed by Square Enix.

One: Have you played and/or ever thought of playing dissidia? I thought that might have been a good review.
Two: How do you feel about multiplayer coming to FFXV,well,multiplayer now in it. I honestly like it and can't wait to get it,but I've seen many in the community show their distaste for it and was just curious as to what your opinion was.
For the hunts though you don't have to go back to the same restaurant that gave you the quest. You can get the quest reward at any restaurant, so I ended up completing hunts/picking up new ones wherever it was convenient for me. Was this a patch though? I didn't get the game until a couple of months ago. Nice job with the video man, it was really funny.
Back in 2006 is when I was in grade 2, Playstation 3 came out and Transformers finally gets it's first live action film, and 10 years later in 2016 I am in grade 12, Playstation 4 pro and Transformers Last Knight, ha, I feel old.

What did you think of final fantasy 7 remake? As someone new to the series it's become my favorite game ever.

Arden Collins You dont need to play any other games. Any game with a different number has nothing to do with another. If it has somethig else like FFXIII-2 You have to play FFXIII first. so no you dont need to play another to understand XV. I dont think you should play XV first. Its gameplay is very different from the others. It certainly isnt terrible. Its just different. I loved XV but i suggest VI. Sorry im a month late but i hope it helps.

Arden Collins You can get 7 digitaly on PS4 if you want that one along with 10. Just dont start with World of FF
you can start with final fantasy vi not only it is cheap and multi platform but it is the greatest final fantasy game and one of the greatest JRPG of all time you will fall in love with the franchise instantly

Suspect, what did you think about Star Wars Battlefront?
Haven't played it actually; reason being that I've heard nothing but bad things about it. I was planning on doing a review of it but I was too busy at the time.
Just an idea, you should do an anchorman the legend of Ron burgundy, please, theater would be awesome
the magic system would be more bearable if enemy element drops are frequent and generous.
God damn this game is very weird to talk about, I played it relatively recently with the royal edition and I had a fuck ton of fun with it. Gameplay wise it's still a bit whack but there are definitely improvements from when it first came out. I actually liked the magic system because the elemental deposits were almost everywhere, friendly fire was meh but it wasn't that big of a problem for me personally. Sidequests still suck for the most part tho, granted they added the picture system you suggested but yeah a lot of them suck. The story is the part that really hurts me, because with all the updates the story is really good but horrible disjointed. Ravus, Aranea, and Cor had more to do in the dlc episodes which made a bunch of things more coherent and editions from the royal updates made it easier to follow. I will say that Luna and Noct still don't share much screentime and some parts of the ending where a little unclear and it still lacks an epilogue but god damn I really enjoyed the story of this game. Granted I played the dlc episodes in the order they appeared in the story and that made a lot of issues less previlent. I don't think Square handled this game well at all but I'm not as mad at this due to the royal and windows edition. It has the best story told in the worst way and I love it too much.
Confession: I watched Return of the Jedi first and then A New Hope because I was young, dumb and didn't understand Roman numerals.

I can't stand wait mode, and the combat is only manipulated by flow with the left stick, I found it really lacking.

But development changed direction halfway through, meaning the released game was only in development for 5 years or so.
Chapter 13 made me feel like I was playing an annoying level from a game from my childhood, made me all nostalgic in a way. Kinda strange
I guess nothing will beat FF VI's story. Damn. I play FF's for story since that was what the series became known for.

Technically, you only really have the run of Lucis. Though parts of larger Eos are seen in the story. Tenebrae and Nifflheim, for example.

no. FFXV tried something new, so it wouldn't be helpful for those trying to learn more about Final Fantasy. If you wanna know what it's like, try somewhere between 4 and 9
