I have reached a level of mimickery that rivals the very soul of a mirror in my efforts to move exactly as EnterJayMent does in his video. It is perfect. Frame for frame exact. @@johnnyalfred2568 this is like something you find in a game. Like an abandoned tent and there's a note from some adventurer that has died outside some ruins.
FYI There's another moogle charm you can get, on the big stone arches just by the chocobo post. Use a chocobo to get up on them, midway across one of them is a moogle charm (the other arch is a star pendant, I think).
You can get food that gives you 100% exp. If you buy 99 luncheon meat and keep camping make Ignis cook mystery sushi he will level up to cooking skills 9 and you can use the lasagna that gives you 100% exp instead of the sandwich that only gives you 50%. It doesn't take that long. It's easy enough to drive around and get the items that make the dish :) hope this helps

I farmed up over 4.6kk exp by using expericast from time to time while farming Garuda for Tomestones. That boss in itself is a great method to farm exp. Just rushing the boss alone only gives like 27k exp, but the real trick is to kill all the plumes and doubles she is spawning. They give a ton of exp, too. By extending the fight to about 5-7 minutes and letting her spawn more enemies for you to kill you can easily get about 170k exp each run (without the expericast). By throwing 3 stashes of expericast in I once got 960k exp from a single 7 minute run. If your goal is to get the Vortex weapons you will fight her many, many, MANY times, anyway. (Seriously, the weapons are worth it. Pick up your lazy @$$ and grind them!) That, combined with all the expericasts I was able to make (not that many), yielded me over 4.6 million exp at the end of the grind. Keep in mind, you only unlock Garuda as a boss in chapter 5 by folloing the (not time-limited) event quest "Adventurer from another world". I went the extra mile to rest at the Royal suite in Altissia in chapter 9 to tripple the ammount. While the screen does only show 9.999.999 exp, the game still gives you all the exp you're due when resting. So don't be afraid to overshoot. (I would've actually farmed more exp, but the fear of farming exp for nothing was growing on me.)
tham sihou I am with you. Due to the quarenteen and building a new pc, i finally buy the window edition with all the dlc. This game is actually alot better than most people give it credit for. The lore is better than alot of final fantasy series out there especially Ayrden.
Lunar Ph0enix Still works but finding rare coin is a bitch. Its not as easy as this guy made it out to be. "Only 9" rare coins? Yea unless you spend 20 hours walking around every nooks and cranny along that road, finding 5 is pretty much winning the lottery. You be lucky if you can find 3
@@epicwolf I know there's a picture out there that shows the route and ground item locations. So getting a rare coin is as easy, and a bit tedious, as going to location, save, pick up rare coin? Reload, rare coin? Yay! Next location, repeat.
There's also a Moogle Charm in the Crestholm Channels dungeon, which is the one east of Hammerhead, right outside of Insomnia, and around where you get the first Royal Arms weapon.
I haven't even tried this yet and I'm impressed on the simplicity and clarity of how you explained everything. well done man. Saved and liked for sure.
Man it's absolutely crazy to me that once they released the Royal Edition I didn't know that in chapter 4-5 when you have to summon the Storm God Ramuh you can do a quest that adds in "an adventure from another world" basically a ff14 crossover and the biggest thing about it is literally you can kill the boss of that mission many times at level 45 or 120. Make/eat that sandwich mentioned in the video and thats an easy 100k (about) easily because of the 50% boost in a first playthrough which I'm at 2 million exp lol broken
Woah, your video is so nice and organized. Thanks for the tutorial! Bro, I've been sitting here with 200k xp, went through costlemark dungeon and a ton of other crap only at level 40. And you tell me that one enemy can grant you with 300k? Dude you're magic.
For rare coin farm just save while standing in front of any blue item sparkle and reload it until it's a rare coin. Every ground item is now a rare coin :)
The only thing you didn't mention was the dlc Nixperience Ring which you can also get from NG+, it allows you to rest at camps and hotels without tallying your exp, that way you can save up your exp easier and keep using food buffs from camping until you want to tally up your exp for lvls. Comes in handy for end game lvling.
I followed this guide, but got 2 Moogle Charms, hoarded about 150k xp doing side quests and used a few more rare coins, 23 of them. I Got over 1 million XP. Went from level 10 to 70. Now, I am on chapter 3 and the game is super easy. I got the ultima blade as well.
And here I just completed episode gladio and used him with the genji blade to kill cactuars from the timed quests. Up to 100 cactuars, a few fights is all you need. Also a great source of AP mega potions and Phoenix downs. (Group kills with razor edge nets great AP)
just spent all day getting these steps right and it worked out great! Thx for the breakdown...only had the 9 rare coins so I instantly wished I got more! Here goes round 2!
I know I’m saying this super late, but thank you so much for this video. Clear, concise, and straight to the point. I only got about 400,000 XP after spending the night in the hotel and jumped from level 22 to level 54!!! Thanks again. Keep up the great content!!!👍
Tip: I know it's cheap but put the game on easy mode so you're essentially invincible also use a two-handed Sword so you can just kill the Necromancers this will take about 5-6 minutes to do but after that just follow the guide.
Thanx alot!! This method worked for me. I was at Level 42 when I started, did everything you said to a "T" and now I gained 30 levels. Now my characters are between Levels 72 and 75. Cheers!!

Once they spawn you can't proceed through that crevice anymore. I tried getting the one from Crestholm, ran to the spot and there is no item on the pipe by the grate there. Do you have to be a certain level, or hit the enemies running in?
alright so ive spent a bit of time researching the ins and outs of this method. ur strategy for rare coins is excellent. i would change from using nine coins to 8 because u lose some levels on the last coin. havent tested but each coin gives 12 lvls of expericast and the last one will only get you from 96 to 99 so u lose 9 lvls that could be used on another spell. iv actually decided to farm the rare coins for all my spells cuz its easier to save and load at each blue pickup. lastly, expericast gives you the same amount of xp, no matter what mob you use it on. you dont have to use it on the guy u have in this video. i have tested this. casting the spell is what gives the xp, which is why in ur video the method where u enter and cast then leave still grants u xp. u can cast it on a lvl 2 mob and it will give u like 20k xp. i read that in a forum and then tested it on a lvl 16 group of mech troopers. hit em all with the spell but got the same xp as when i hit a lone spiralcorn. so this method can be improved and made even easier than what u have done. i really appreciate ur video because theres surprisingly not alot of info out there
for those that cannot get past the cave without triggering the necromancers it is not based on your character it is base on the location fo your camera that is what triggers creature spawns therefore putting your camera into a birds eye view kind of position (above noctis looking down) will help in stopping the monsters from spawning
It's far faster to just play the game beat it get the Ring and level doing the Wyvern farming while saving your exp casts using them 1 at a time each hunt giving you 30k xp per hunt with 1 moogle charm per character and traveling to altissa for the 100% xp food repeating this gets you over 750k xp per hour and over 350k Gil per hour. Getting to level 120 takes 27 mil xp from level 99
Spot on, can't wait to have a crack at this one! I've literally JUST reached Chapter 3 at the first outpost. Have crappy HP and Strength so a few extra buffs to get my EXP up can't hurt at all!
after casually grinding to level 42 i finally decided to try this and jumped to level 59. it also doubled the AP i had as well. will be referring to this video in the future if i forget the steps.
sep 2021, started the game 3hrs ago. 100% deserved like. If I may be allowed to suggest - I know the vids long, but as a non native english the speed u r talking is givin me hard times :D anyway, great work, thanks for it! :)
I found the Nixperience Band highly helpful with this. It does stop you from leveling up, but it basically safekeeps all your XP until you unequipped it. Basically you can repeatedly do this till you get the desired ammount of XP then cash it all.
Your videos are really helpful! I found your channel while looking for World of Final Fantasy help, and I only wish I was as lucky in finding rare coins as I was in finding your videos.
lol ya rare coins are a pain. For the first video I did, I found 5 of them in about 15 minutes so it made it feel like it was really easy. The crap thing is, later in the game it feels like you find them like crazy where ever you are in the game.
Thanks for the tip! I found this when I was at chapter 8. My Ignis was a level 10 cook so I had the special lasagna unlocked for 100% EXP bonus. I used the lasagna instead of the ham sandwich and it worked even better. This technique netted me almost 1mil exp and took me from lvl 54 to lvl 71.
TIP! The camera "IS" Noctis! So if you tilt the camera facing downwards at noctis it will be farther away from the necromancers therefore harder for them to detect and will not spawn in the caves! You're welcome!
The Bandersnatch no longer spawns for me, so after collecting all the items and making all the prep he was not there to fight. I ended up using the "cast spell and bail" method to gain incremental XP attacking the giant snake by the waterfall just east of the Burbost Souvenir Emporium. I did not have as strong of spells as in the video but I was able to net 203k XP for Noctis and 179k for the others. After a night at the hotel in the video that'll still be just over 400k XP for Noctis, so I'm happy with that :-) @EnterJayMent Thank you for this video!
Also, for people that’s still playing this now, an alternative for the rare coins are Cockatrice crests. I found it easier to farm this than rare coins itself. Edit 1: Also, araipama roe is an alternative but is expensive. It’s found on of the ingredient shops in Altissia, gives out Lv 20 Expericast a piece.
Just going to state, this works... I saw, I followed, I leapt in xp. HOWEVER, this comes with a warning: Dn't leave it till too late. I was unable to get the moogle bangle because I didn't see this video until I was already level 31. If you haven't already noticed, stronger monsters appear when you are a higher level. When I went into the dungeon to get the bangle I was rushed by 2 highly aggro lvl 37 Necromancers... sneaking past them was not an option (I tried - beleive me) and I wasn't strong enough to beat them without tons of potions... and this was just at the entrance. God only knows what waited deeper in...well, I'll know cause I'm going back now that I am lvl 52. Gathered my coins, built my spells, ate my sandwhich and killed the beast twice before saving in the inn.... went from lvl 31 to lvl 52. Would have been higher but, again, no moogl;e bangle and I only had three slots for expiericasts instead of four. Trust me, take your time, farm the coins, get all 4 spells maxed out, GET THE BANGLE and have fun. Thanks EnterJayMent for the trips. Now to see if you have any on gaining gil.....
This Line Left Intentionally Blank He mentions that no matter what, there are two Necromancer's that are far above the levels of the rest of the dungeon. They should be avoidable, or if you beat them the rest of the dungeon should be lvl 17-20. The necromancer's spawn from around 36-41 in my experience.
Oof... I tried everything I could to avoid them... hugged the walls, moved as slow as I could, tried to run out of their aggro range... nothing worked. In the end I had to kill them (as I went back for the bangle at lvl 50)... I'd just say, do this between lvls 17-20 and you should be fine, but if you leave it too late get ready for a fight.
EnterJayMent I got it to work. When you say 'hug the wall' you REALLY mean hug the wall... more like 'hump it', you have to be SO close to it. The rest of the trek was easy, it's just that first room that can throw a person off. :). It all worked, but I didn't have as many debased items as you did. BUT! I jumped from 27 to 53, so I can just sail through the rest of the story and finish everything in ng+. Thanks a bunch. Subscribed.
i can't get it to work, i'm up on that left wall, and it spawns and attacks before i ever get to the item tried it 5x so far, hugging as tight as it'll let me. no dice.
Great video, very helpful. If you do this at the endgame, you can get even more exp- moogle charms stack and in altissia there is a dish you can eat to get a 100% boost (costs 8000) and a 300% boost hotel (costs 30,000).
I rushed the game instead of actually building my character and now I can’t do jack shit on the last mission. I might just start over on the whole thing.
I have subscribed for your good personality and good manner. I really enjoyed your video. Its refreshing to see people like you exist bro. well done you will get far and i will always support. kind regards Kentmen
Why not just use the expericast magic on random enemies? According to the guide, the XP gained from expericast is a flat equation, the enemy being hit with it doesn't affect it. The base XP he gives is like 1k.
@@ShadowSyn16 Yes, apparently. I thought the method shown here was a bug. It turned out it was not. I'm already post-game now and did manage to go through this same method.
Thanks for this! I am currently in Chapter 6 and plan to do this soon! To kill the enemies in the cave (first room) I used a Summon. Then I just rolled dodging other enemies as I headed to the moogle charm.
Yes and the sad thing is, is that I do that in the video at one point and forgot to mention it as one of the things that increases the amount of expericast you can use during a single fight. Knew I would forget something... or at this point I think the count is up to like 4 things lol
Excellent guide mate, what I will say though is that an easier way to get the RARE COINS is to save when you get to an item on the ground, keep loading it until you get a rare coin. Makes things a bit quicker and takes luck out of the game!
But I'm only 4 hours in T_T ( seriously though, 20 hours in still have havent even started this exploit yet. I think the time estimated is a little bit optimistic.) Edit* so I think this method has been patched, the necromancers spawned before I got to the treasure.
I was in that locations thanks to a hunt before in chapter 1 and Bandesnach was not there but haven't gone there a second time to check yet, more interested in waiting until Save Wizard updates to the latest ps4 patch so I can just customize my saved data and just add wtv exp Ap and gil I want into it only sad part if that it costs 55€ to get the Save Wizard,, but it's damn worth it
I've just been doing all my quests, after doing a 180k cactuar method. Since then I've been gathering more and for the last two days in game, I've eaten the sandwich. Gil isn't a problem if you're doing quests, just eat the sandwich whenever you can to gain exp on normal quests. It does take a while, but I am just playing the game normal with running to get cactuar every morning. I take random runs for items every so often. At every stop or outpost, take a few minutes to look for items, you'll eventually find all the exp bonus items over time

my comment is pretty late but there is a moogle charm next to the chocobo farm on top of one of those 2 big arches.
Man, You saved me!
For a guy just doing this for fun, you made an extremely detailed and easy to follow guide. Good job and thanks for the guide!
I'm impressed...thank you for this great video with NO FILLER. all info. keep it up. subscribing
I’m watching this 6 years later and he’s talking about 9k views. I love it
I'd recommend calling Umbra to travel to Altissia and use that hotel to triple xp
If you were looking to do this in chapter 3 on first playthrough, thats not possible.
Spot on, can't wait to have a crack at this one! I've literally JUST reached Chapter 3 at the first outpost. Have crappy HP and Strength so a few extra buffs to get my EXP up can't hurt at all!
Found a moogle charm in the Alstor slough area, right on top of the huge rock formation that looks like a bridge...easy
after casually grinding to level 42 i finally decided to try this and jumped to level 59. it also doubled the AP i had as well. will be referring to this video in the future if i forget the steps.
Lmao i didn't know Deamons fought each other. I love that actually
I didn't know that either and 40hours+ in. Starting. To love this game.
sep 2021, started the game 3hrs ago. 100% deserved like.
If I may be allowed to suggest - I know the vids long, but as a non native english the speed u r talking is givin me hard times :D
anyway, great work, thanks for it! :)
I found the Nixperience Band highly helpful with this. It does stop you from leveling up, but it basically safekeeps all your XP until you unequipped it. Basically you can repeatedly do this till you get the desired ammount of XP then cash it all.
You are far from an idiot bro, subscribed due to your humility. Awesome video.
Ah man, I was soooo hoping you would say "But wait, there's more!!"
The crap thing is, later in the game it feels like you find them like crazy where ever you are in the game.
i did everything here and got 80,000 exp. not quite what is claimed but its better than nothing!
Lol that's a personal problem. Farm more coins, craft more spells until you have the necessary exp...
Fought Red Giants all night, it worked just as well! Thanks!
I wish I could give you more thumbs up... Thiss has been by far the best video on this. Thank you.
Wow, genius. Lol thanks!
Wow, it actually worked.....
Horseshit
Thanks for the video. Gonna give this a go later on. The moogle charm tip is especially great!
Well done on the great video. Very professional I must say.
Bandersnatch wouldn't spwan :(
Got 200k XP for killing the giant snake, knew exactly where you meant too, cheers!!
Oh ok
Great guide! Especially with the map of "Rare Coin", thanks a ton!
Thanks , I don't get to play this a whole lot 30-61 and 61-80 . Keep up the good work!
Having problems when trying to by-pass the necros in the first room
tony hoang me too. Rezoning and trying again...
Are they spawning before you get to the item?
EnterJayMent I got it to work. When you say 'hug the wall' you REALLY mean hug the wall... more like 'hump it', you have to be SO close to it. The rest of the trek was easy, it's just that first room that can throw a person off. :). It all worked, but I didn't have as many debased items as you did. BUT! I jumped from 27 to 53, so I can just sail through the rest of the story and finish everything in ng+.
Thanks a bunch. Subscribed.
@TRUProjectOMR Awesome, glad it work for you!
i can't get it to work, i'm up on that left wall, and it spawns and attacks before i ever get to the item
tried it 5x so far, hugging as tight as it'll let me. no dice.
Thanks for the guide! (From 7 years later)
Right
May 2018 and still working :D hope u do more FF videos and i hope to see you back with the FFVII remake
Great video, very helpful. If you do this at the endgame, you can get even more exp- moogle charms stack and in altissia there is a dish you can eat to get a 100% boost (costs 8000) and a 300% boost hotel (costs 30,000).
So how am I gonna do the second battle with no expercast does that me I need to go hunt for more rare coins and debased items
Thanks for this guide! It help me alot for a guy who play this game for the first time.
3:29 Rare Coin farming area
Such a crazy method but man it paid off :) that's awesome thanks, also subscribing
I rushed the game instead of actually building my character and now I can’t do jack shit on the last mission. I might just start over on the whole thing.
ME TOO LOL I USED GLADIO TO BEAT THE GAME
You and LemonEatingKow have the best guides so far! Subbed.
7 years later
Me to
Nice I will try this out and try to get to level 99 quickly, keep up your good work!
Day 11 still trying to get my 2nd rare coin
Got fuckin 5 right after commenting this
I have subscribed for your good personality and good manner. I really enjoyed your video. Its refreshing to see people like you exist bro. well done you will get far and i will always support. kind regards Kentmen
I can’t even get to the item in the cave without spawning the necromancers
As a veteran Final fantasy player this is a really helpful vid for seasoned players and new playera
Wait do i need to finish a certain mission because when I went in there the bandersnatch wasnt there
Thanks for the in depth post I just started chapter 3 so this will help , ty
U get the sub and the like jus for being humble
Excellent guide. Clear and concise. You've earned this sub.
Why not just use the expericast magic on random enemies? According to the guide, the XP gained from expericast is a flat equation, the enemy being hit with it doesn't affect it. The base XP he gives is like 1k.
squalltheonly Thats correct, I did it on mobs and used my beast whistle
squalltheonly I mean seriously the imperial won't let me travel by foot so yeah I could do this way a lot easier
Smart Training & Nutrition then again, considering he’s doing this in chapter 3, that’s fast enough.
yea, i just played the game like an rpg guy would.. Have zero problems being under leveled, In fact i'm almost always far ahead.
i like how tou explain things and make them very understandable i sub keep it up dude
Does this still work with the latest version of the game to date?
Given how no one in the comments is saying otherwise, I''d say yes
@@ShadowSyn16 Yes, apparently. I thought the method shown here was a bug. It turned out it was not.
I'm already post-game now and did manage to go through this same method.
Hiii
I just tried going through it, and only got 120,000exp from draining all my expericasts... Maybe they nerfed it?
Tom S but did you hit all the expericasts? And maybe your spells were weaker too
you can no longer bypass those lv 41 Nocromancers and the visual circle it's way way bigger this time
I did this method on a different boss and got 90,000 xp and that's one fight
What boss?
Man! I just love the sound of my experience and my level going up. I'm gonna keep on doing this until my level caps.
Good luck, after 98 each level takes well over a million experience and it goes up to 120
bandersnatch won't spawn for me
Anyone?
@Uncle Ben’s Rice probably gotta do the hunt thats there first
Thanks for this! I am currently in Chapter 6 and plan to do this soon! To kill the enemies in the cave (first room) I used a Summon. Then I just rolled dodging other enemies as I headed to the moogle charm.
Dumb fuckin peckerwood
Can you just give your crew shit weapons so it takes forever to kill him and use all the spells in a single go?
Yes and the sad thing is, is that I do that in the video at one point and forgot to mention it as one of the things that increases the amount of expericast you can use during a single fight. Knew I would forget something... or at this point I think the count is up to like 4 things lol
Thank you so much!!!!! Worked perfectly!!!
I saw sooo many videos but this one is the best!!!
And if you go to Altissa that's 900000 exp
True
BR twitch reuploads yeah but it's for people at ch 3. You don't go to Altissa till 8 or 9 (I forgot the exact chapter)
Its not I just did it today it still works
dude I thank you for making this video. it was amazing to see that much XP at once😀
The Bandersnach isn't there for me either...?
Underground King look above hammerhead in between rocks
