The Ricky Gervais show will keep you falling about for months. There is just so much of it. The greatest classic is ‘Steve and Karl, all the insults…. Men in Black.’ It is insane. I nearly pass out every time I listen.

Hi Megan, Stephen Merchant is Ricky's co-writer on a lot of his stuff, he's also very tall and thin, which is why Karl called him a freak. They both met Karl when they did a weekly radio show on XFM and they were given Karl as producer, they started making him part of the show, then they released audio tapes of the show that you can find on UA-cam. Then HBO made an animated podcast series with the three of them, again you can find "The Ricky Gervais Show" on UA-cam. Next they decided to send Karl globe trotting, he thought he was off to see exotic sights, when in reality they were going to make him as uncomfortable as possible. He was not best pleased when he found out it was titled "An Idiot Abroad" rather than something like Karl Pilkington's Travels. He swore at the end of the first series, he would never make anymore, (he did 2 more series) Btw, Stephen is in many more joint collabs with Ricky, as well as appearances in "The Big Bang Theory" in the US, and as Mr P I Staker in Hot Fuzz.

Of course Ricky knows about conjoined twins... his point is that there's no such thing as "a two headed kid"... it's two kids who are conjoined, not one kid with 2 heads.

Karl is a gift that keeps on giving. He has a huge cult following. The Ricky Gervais Show, which is an animated cartoon, is a go to for many reactors. You'll find the whole show on my page in 1080p , I got playlists of the 3 series, instead of using the rubbish 240p-360p videos that many use

Steve Merchant created the Office with Ricky. He has appeared in a number of TV shows and Hollywood movies. Also, conjoined twins aren't two-headed - that's two people who are joined together, not a single person with one body and two heads. If you react to more Ricky and Karl, you're likely to meet Steve

“If (Karl Pilkington) was a character we created, I would have not squandered him on this poxy radio station!” Stephen Merchant on their XFM radio show. To make matters worse, I watched an interview with Ricky Gervais and the interviewer asked him whether there would be any more podcasts with Steve and Karl. Ricky’s answer was basically that Karl is not the same as Karl when we first met him. He’s learnt more and a bit more knowledgeable, so the podcasts wouldn’t work any more…

Decapitation is not necessarily fast. In history, many decapitations were very messy and it would take a few strikes to separate the head from the body. Before the guillotine was invented the axe could either his the shoulder or crack the top of the head like an egg. You're welcome!

G'day Megan , I'd like to say when an animal get their head chopped off they actually do have kinetic energy I've actually seen this with my own eyes 👀 , My Dad was a bit of a town farmer we kept Chicken's 🐔 Ducks 🦆 and a few Gobblers 🦃 Turkey's .
As a kid my dad grabbed me by the hand took me up to the chopping block then grabbed a chook 🐔 then got out a Hatchet put his hand over mine grabbed the chook by his free hand then carefully chopped the chickens 🐔 head of then we watched for at least 10 minutes run around the backyard , we don't store all our thoughts in our brain 🧠 our thoughts also come from our backbone area , plus sort if all over our bodies , in humble opinion Karl is much more intelligent than his contemporaries

Well from WW2 until like 1958 there was rationing, though obviously less and less things were rationed as time went on. So that generation didn't grow up with much and it's why their cooking was so bad for such a long time and why they probably have no nostalgia for certain things. It is crazy though when I look back just 30 years ago and food in the UK was still in a state. It wasn't until all the celeb chefs like Jamie Oliver came along that encouraged better food on TV, that there was this big explosion of people caring about where their food came from.

Whether you react to it or not, Ricky Gervais Show. Start with one in the middle, see if you like it, you will. Then do the whole 3 seasons, something like 36 half hour episodes. Not a minute wasted. I guarantee it. Its better than Idiot Abroad by far, just more about the mind of Karl, and he is better in cartoon mode. Don't go into compilations until you watched all 3 seasons, cuz it wont be as fresh then.

I was thinking about that the other week when listening to a podcast and a doctor saying no one thinks about the poor people that have to carry out late term abortions. So you saying often it's not professionally trained people performing the injection, I wondering if that is because very few people want to actually take a life without it haunting them like cutting up a baby inside a woman must haunt you.

The sad part is that Karl Pilkington is not an act. There's no alter ego being creatively funny here. He makes a living, thanks mostly (initially) to RG, by being himself. He's not that bright and says some genuinely ignorant things. At high school, he got one GCSE in history, grade E; it's almost impossible to achieve less. Once you know it's not an act, it's difficult to enjoy his material, if not impossible.
