yeah after awhile they all start to blur together and you can't appreciate the differences in each dress. taking a break and clearing your head is a good way to get a fresh look at your dress options and see which one jumps out at you.

@@ncertbookreader8251 well with wedding planning once you make a decision you kind of have to stop "exploring." most of the time when you're ordering a wedding dress it's custom to your measurements and that takes MINIMUM 3 months to come in. if you're lucky enough to be a sample size and not picky you can get away with buying off the rack and having it altered a little bit, but otherwise that's just how it is. and hopefully your tastes don't change that dramatically over the course of a year, i mean i liked cherry blossoms when i got engaged and i liked cherry blossoms 2 years later when i got married so...
I can't imagine tastes changing that much. I got my dress last year but sadly we aren't gonna be able to have our wedding for a couple of years. I love it just as much as I did when in first got it and I'm sure I'll love it when I get to wear it for our wedding

By that time she was tired of making decisions and just wanted to be married. I would not be shopping at these fancy shops and might even hunt out consignment. I'll probably never get married though.

I wanted a soft white, not shiny fabric; actual sleeves, nothing young-girlish (I would be 30 at the wedding), and I didn't want to look like a cream pie. Still traumatized from ruffle and puff sleeve overkill of the 80's. ;-) The shop I went to had the dresses they carried on their website. So I pre-shopped there, wrote down the numbers, tried on six or seven dresses at the actual appointment- done. I was actually shocked, as I knew others had shopped around for half a year... and I wouldn't have had the time. So I was glad of it. I still love it. :-)

I have a feeling she wants to look older because people have always treated her younger than she really is. It's great to look younger when you're in mid 30s (maybe) and above, but in early 20s, you don't want to look like you're a teenager; especially at your wedding. I'm 4'10 & 23 and have been treated younger my entire life. A couple months before quarantine someone at my temple asked what grade I'm in, during my senior year of high school someone thought I was a freshman, and during my freshmen year someone asked me if I was in the right school. Those are just three out of hundreds of examples. If she had similar experiences, that's probably why she feels it's necessary.

Those gowns aren't cheap to get and usually there is a fitting to make it perfect for the bride's body. The shop needs quite some space for the bride to dress-up and show it to her entourage. It's not half as easy or cheap as you think. But they quickly saw what would become her best of all and found a dress, that was magic on her. The bride and family found gratitude and joy. Why don't you join in.

The first dress is lovely--sophisticated and grown up--but just a few degrees off on the dial for her. (I'd like to think I'd look good in it lol.) That second dress is spot on sensational, right on budget and to her theme. Best bride story yet!
The first bride is so sweet and that gown is perfect for her. I’m surprised that they’re celebrating that she’s under her £1500 budget. She shaved under it by £8 but the veil is probably £200 and I’m guessing there could be taxes and/or alteration costs too. She will do well to stay under £2000 when all is said and done. Still, that gown is perfect and worth it for her.

The first dress did not fit her right the second dress fitted her perfectly!
They custom order them.
You try them on as close to your size that they have.
They order in the size closest to her then when it comes they alter it to fit perfectly

The first bride is so sweet and that gown is perfect for her. I’m surprised that they’re celebrating that she’s under her £1500 budget. She shaved under it by £8 but the veil is probably £200 and I’m guessing there could be taxes and/or alteration costs too. She will do well to stay under £2000 when all is said and done. Still, that gown is perfect and worth it for her.
