In Australia we have one by dominos called a ‘cheese burst base’ whereby the entire base is filled with a layer of cheese / creme fraiche (imagine a thin base plus a layer of cheese plus another thin base on top) this when ordered as a cheese pizza plus stuffed crust and extra mozzarella ensures complete one hundred percent arresting of all things cardio and would recommend only for special occasions / hangovers.

And sure we don't know 100% what his food tastes like but we know the ingredients and methods he uses to make them and for most things that's enough to tell that it'll be good (and I mean his recipes are right there you could cook them and see for yourself any time)

Actually this pizza is sub par compared to my local one. Something is not right over there.
Pizza Hut used to actually be good back in the 80s and early 90s, then there was a change in management, cost cutting, and competition from the likes of Dominoes.
We briefly had a pizza hut locally, but it went under after like 5 years. Chain pizza places in general don't really do great here, too much competition from ridiculously good local pizza places.
It won't taste the same, there's things that commercial pizza companies add to their products that can't be replicated at home. Special additives, chemicals and colorings add to the flavor and texture of the "food". All fast food is not healthy but they separate from bland food by being tasty and palatable. This pizza might look good might even be healthier but it's not gonna taste the same as the original, just a regular copy cat version that doesn't taste like the real thing.
@@gentilewarrior Last I witnessed Pizza hut uses just flour, yeast, and minimal spices to dough. The ingredients are not any different than used here. Maybe early 2000’s this might hold weight. Tops might find msg in it, a travesty to cuisine.

Guys , i tried this recipe , and i can confirm that it is great , its so easy yet so good 🤩
You ran into the same problem I run into cooking a pizza in a conventional oven. In a pizza oven, there's a lot of heat that comes over the top of the pizza, and it gives it some nice color, especially the pepperoni. Throw the broiler on for a couple of min at the end to compensate.

Actually stuffed crust pizza is a traditional thing in Southern Italy especially in Naples the only difference is that Ricotta is used instead of Mozzarella and actually it's my favorite one and being Italian I really have to say that although I'm against the American version of the sauce and the dough this stuff is still amazing you're great man!

@@lfs8600 the easiest way to compare is that traditional italian Pizza usually has a thicker crust, more tomato and less cheese, while american pizza, especially new york style, is thinner and has a ton of cheese

As an Italian myself, I approve this delicious looking pizza.
My family now love me as I make them pizzas often and they say that it is better than what they get at a store and honestly I crave for it too.
Recipe:
Dough: this recipe + garlic and herbs butter + some oregano
Sauce: mixture of any sauce I find. Usually it's pizza and pasta sauce + momos hot sauce + schezwan sauce + oregano + other seasonings + garlic and herbs butter (and more if I have time)
Topping: I'm a corn lover, so a layer of sweet corn and cheese
Inside the crust: cheese and tandoori sauce
Before putting sauce on, I brush it with garlic butter, Before putting it in the oven and after taking it out, I brush that butter on the crust.

Hey Joshua! I have been watching you for a while, and I have a suggestion: when putting your ingredients in the stand mixer, start with the water, yeast, and sugar, put the flour on top of that, then the salt; starting with the wet helps prevent the need to scrape the bowl down.

THIS is the one I’ve been waiting for. Stuffed crust is my all time favorite childhood specific food thing. It’s sooo good and still good to this day despite pizza huts lackluster pizza. I’ve always wanted to make it myself so I might have to try now..
When I do stuffed crust pizza I make a thick cheese sauce to go into the crust, that way you get much more flavour in the crust filling, it's softer and not as stringy.
Made this today and it was sooooooo good 1000 times better than pizza huts🤤 thank you!

It's going to depend on a complicated mix of the owner, the experience of the employees, the "give a damn" of the employees. Also there's the fact that, sure Josh's is better BUT he made one or two where a Pizza Hut will have put out 40 pizzas in the same time, so to speak.
I used to be a manager at a Pizza Hut and the pepperoni is next level haha I used to take it home all the time 🤣 the stuffed crust is just the regular base that’s stretched then stuffed with mozzarella sticks and rolled back over, which causes it to flop when you pick it up. Pizza Hut thin and crispy pepperoni is the bomb though, can’t beat it

I made this sauce for another pizza recipe. The Guanciale is so worth it. Find an Italian grocery store near you and get it. Only critique is that it’s a bit acidic for me. I added an 1/8th of a teaspoon of baking soda and that cut the acidity.
