I found a little kitten as I was walking my dog a few days ago. She was being attacked by magpies and minor birds in the middle of an intersection. Cars were not stopping and I was worried I wouldn’t make it or if I did that it would be too scared of humans. But she was still so tiny and easy to grab. She had no microchip. I cleaned and fed her. Went to the pound to see if she had anyone looking for her since no doors I knocked on knew who she was. 3 days later I picked her up and brought her back home and she is so happy and snug. My dog is a little scared of her but he’s doing fine and getting more curious. He shows her his belly and she attacks his feet. Was very lucky she wasn’t scared of me. She just purrs and sleeps between me and the dog at night. Little white fluffball with one green eye and one blue eye. My first cat actually!
I fostered rescued cats and taking care of the tiny kittens was heartbreaking at times. They were terrified when they’d come to me and by the time they were adopted out they were full of love. It’s what we all need.
God bless your unconditional, loving heart, and gifted hands. You show this kitten that there is kindness and love. I can only imagine what this kitten has been through that caused it to be so distressed thank you.

Looks like a feral cat to me. Probably has never had contact with a human. But they want to love us so it doesn't take long for them to calm down. I get this reaction from my barn kitties if I don't handle them enough when young. Sometimes I don't know where the mom had her babies for a couple weeks. When I find them they are sassy like that little dude but quickly become friends. They just want love and food.
all kittens are born feral. it's just how they are. through human connection is how they become non feral. it's during the socialization window at a few weeks of age

Nothing like the ferocity of a feral kitten! Been there and done that. Nothing as sweet and loyal as one that grows to realize you are their safe place. I’ve had most of mine 16 years now. They won’t stay inside for long, but they have tons of safe places on the property and seldom leave. And all love the pets now. Thank you for persevering! They can eat you alive in the beginning. The majority of cats are 'lactose intolerant' as they do not have the enzyme (lactase) in their intestines to digest the sugar in milk (lactose), meaning that milk which contains lactose can make them very ill with symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration, increased heart rate, excessive gas...basically all things not fun for an adult cat and especially a young, delicate little kitten.
I wonder if how they'd react if you show them their 'before rescue' video(s). What if they become even more thankful & then we'd know for sure they are aliens.

that's just normal kitten behavior if they have never been touched by human before...i've met alot of them...the cats giving birth outside our house and when the kittens about ready to eat solid food, the mother would bring them to where we put their food....so, if i approach them, they would run away immediately...if i managed to catch them, they would struggle and scratch my hands as if they are getting tortured....so dramatic....normally after a few times of getting petted, they would stick to our feet like glue whenever we brought their food.....even the kittens we have in our house hissed at us during the first few times we interact with them

that's just normal kitten behavior if they have never been touched by human before...i've met alot of them...the cats giving birth outside our house and when the kittens about ready to eat solid food, the mother would bring them to where we put their food....so, if i approach them, they would run away immediately...if i managed to catch them, they would struggle and scratch my hands as if they are getting tortured....so dramatic....normally after a few times of getting petted, they would stick to our feet like glue whenever we brought their food.....even the kittens we have in our house hissed at us during the first few times we interact with them

But to focus on this kitten, his suffering and the suffering of all other domestic animals are human societies fault. As long as there are no real qualifications required to buy animals and breading isn’t punished, there will always be dead dogs and cats….ext in ditches or death row shelters.
