I love both the Vice balls and the Snell balls. I prefer playing a colorful ball because I am old and see it better. I have used the Pro and Pro Soft the most. I just ordered some Snell Prime 3.0 because it now comes in yellow. I will be trying the Vice Pro Air this year as well. I look forward to your reviews of the new Snell and Vice balls. I also like the Chrome Softs, but I hate their price point when I lose some here and there. I do play them in some scrambles or use them to putt in scrambles because of the 360 Triple Track alignment. Thanks for all your reviews. I look forward to another year of golf ball content.
Thank you so much for the feeding back and kind words. I actually just received my snell package yesterday. As soon as vice is done next week the snell balls are next
Blue colour looks great. Very impressive. Although the figures were a little bit down, if you have the consistency, you can work with that. The cost also helps.
Nice!! Thank you! I’m holding out until the Pro. Played the prior Pro today and am down to 1/2 dozen left. Still on the fence between the air and Pro. I appreciate your work!
Hi Just found your channel and love it. My back story 81 years old play 3 times a week GA handicap 26 , 7 iron swing speed 69mph. Been playing Vice Tour for 8 years and usually buy 5+1 dozen when on offer and they last about year. The other day I played a hole with 3 different balls , Callaway Supersoft , Srixon Soft feel and Vice Drive and for 3 shots from the fairway with a 3 hybrid there was virtually no difference in the length and they were all virtually in a line across the fairway. Now the question as I need to restock within the next month or so with the improvements flagged in your review should I stick with Vice Tour or consider a change. Regards Harry
Hey harry, thank you for taking the time to watch and ask your question. With that swing speed I would try to stay to the lower compression golf balls. The vice tour has always been a little firmer for me, but if it works for you then feel free to change it. I would try a Wilson zip while they're still available and see how you like them. Inexpensive and jumps off the club face
Just checked with Vice and as part of the changes for 2024 they increased the compression from 90 to 95 so unlikely to carry on using them The hunt for a new ball continues 😎
So if you do not buy these in bulk, the value is not as good. But you have to like the performance enough to buy them in bulk. That is a leap of faith.
Yeah you will never hear me talk about the vice drive that much. It's the only golf ball I'm actually disappointed in when it comes to the vice line. I wish they would spend a little more time on it and make it one of the best two-piece golf balls on the market. Otherwise I just tell people to stay away
I’m not buying the 95 compression. That’s on par with the ProV1X, Chrome Tour X, and the TP5X. They’re either lying about the compression, or the energy transfer from mantle to core is abysmal.
@@GolfBallAddict I’m very curious if Vice is willing to release their test data on the correlation of restitution of these balls. COR, for those not in the know, is the measure of elasticity of an object, or what is described here as the “bouncy ball effect”.
The Drive was my favorite ball. Going from 50 compression to 90... They've lost me. Don't know how you can say they're softer when they've nearly doubled to compression. Just doesn't make sense.
Very awesome review. I like the new format. I'm guessing you're setting your launch monitor to a firm surface since the carry and the roll don't differ all that much? Last year I think I bought like 6 different sets of balls that you recommended and for me it's a tie between the Snell Prime and the Max Fli Tour. Both feel really good and perform well. Haven't tried Sugar though.
It also has to do with the spin. The last launch monitor I have wasn't calculating spin very much into the total distance role. Thank you so much for watching and your feedback :-)
Review starts at the 5:28 mark.

Vice does offer an alignment option in their customization section.
Yes they do.

Makes losing them a little more stomachable

Completely understandable. The pro is coming soon 😀🥳
Thanks for the review!
Thank you so much for watching and commenting 😀
i bought these bricks a few yrs back-im still giving them out as Cmas presents
😆😂
looking forward to the Pro Air review thats the one i am really interested in great review cheers from Canada
Awesome. The air review should be here on Thursday
I was hoping that it would perform better. Thanks for the review:)
Me too. Thanks for watching and commenting 😃
I love Vice but i would buy bulk if i can have a box in each color offered. And yes I did notice I lost distance with this new years Vice.
That's lame you can't mix up the color
Hey I was wondering if you could look into the new 2024 Top Flite Gamer Golf ball? Haven’t seen any other reviews on it yet.
The top flights have needed to be re-reviewed for a while. I will look into it
Love all of your reviews, but I will stick with the Pro Air!!
Good choice 😃

Thanks for that will try the Wilson Zip but feel comfortable with the Tour now so the new iteration seems a possibility

Well shoot. I'm sad it's not doing well off the driver. Hopefully the Tour does well overall and I'll just stick with that one.
I won't give anything away but I think that'll probably be a good play
Has the vice pro been redone?
Yes it has.
@@GolfBallAddict looking forward to that video. Would love to play the chrome tour if I wasn’t flat broke 😂.

Yeah it's crazy to me. It sure doesn't feel like a 95 compression but I would wager your ride on the energy transfer.

That's too weak in the drive. Thanks
Yeah that's kind of been my theory on it. It's why I've always stayed away from the golf ball.
