- I'm back with another full week of healthy eating!! You guys always love the WIEIAW's so I wanted to take you guys along for another week. Some of you guys had asked me to do a video focused on how I eat during my period, so I decided to make this into a series and show you guys how I eat in each phase of the cycle.
As always, the home cooked recipes included have high quality protein, fiber, and healthy fats to keep me fueled + happy (with a healthy dose of balance too, because healthy living needs to leave room for fun in order to be sustainable) :)

Hey Carolina If you ever have a problem opening up a jar, just tap the corners of the top with the back of a knife, it will open up easy, that’s if your husband is not their to open it for you
Need to try that trick hahaha Pedro also tried opening it and he couldn't get it open LOL
@@TheCarolinaLifestyle Wow that was a bad jar if Pedro couldn’t open it, yes I always hit the corners of the top if I run into that problem 👍🏽
If hitting the jar doesn't help. Run the lid under hot water for about a minute. It should do the trick!

It’s so nice that you include the pdf’s. Your recipes are absolutely delicious, healthy, and you don’t some in on calories which I so appreciate! Love that you’re talking about hormones, they’re so important. I’m a 39 year old mom and I just started having irregular bleeding, I’m waiting on biopsy results because I now have endometrial hyperplasia. If I only would’ve known more about hormonal health! And even worse I’ve been an RN for 15 years! The healthcare system does not teach us about female hormonal health at all. I haven’t been eating how I should and now my health is suffering. Your channel is a big inspiration to get back on track 🙏🏻

How did you make the peanut butter cups?
Also my family is Brazilian too! When I cook rice, I sauté the garlic and onion first in olive oil and salt. Then, I add the rice into the same pot stirring occasionally on low heat so that the rice absorbs the flavors. Then I add in water and more salt, and let the water boil for 1 minute and then reduce heat to low. After the rice is fully cooked, I add fresh chopped cilantro, cooked chopped carrots as well as Muenster cheese. It is sooo delicious and my fav

Do you have any suggestions on how to eat if you no longer have your period?
YAY glad you enjoyed! you need to help your body feel safe when you're trying to recover it -- so would recommend eating grounding foods, regular meals, enough healthy fats (avocado, olive oil, fish), protein and warm foods and drinks! Also would recommend slowing down your workouts for a lil while and doing root chakra balancing :) hope this helps!

I actually don't know off the top of my head but my guess is $400ish-$500 a month! I always buy groceries for 2 and also since I don't have Trader Joes or other affordable stores near me I do end up getting them from Whole Foods a lot of the time, which is why it ends up being more $

It looks like you don’t eat much carbs 🙁 so much protein but not enough carbs… why is everyone so afraid of carbs nowadays? They are super important for hormone health in sporty women… no carbs no fuel 🤷🏻♀️
