Hello, I am a brand new subscriber and got a budgie very helpful
everytime i watch ur vids my budgies start chirping too and then i cant hear 💀
love parakeets
I must have watched a dozen of these how to tame your bird videos by now. I have no idea when my Rosie likes to eat ... she seems to eat most of the time although she's behind me when I sit at the computer or TV so not really sure. She seems happy enough and even with my hand or arm in the cage she doesn't 'run away' as much as she used to but it's getting her to step up I find really hard so I must try the feeding millet I think. How many times should you do this for best results or just as often as possible?
You're voice sounds very good when you said talk to them softly.
This video helped me so much!! Thanks😊
Dat bird mean 😂

Hello Number

At 4:13 what is the grey and white bird on the far left? It looks like a mix between a cockatiel and a parakeet and I love it
That's a cockateil
I have the exact kind of spray millet
When I got my bird I was like 9 and I forced him out of his cage and on my shoulder and then we got him a friend and it's been a few years and I do not know how to regain his trust please help me!
Amina Mannna You should’ve never forced the birds, you need to train them by putting food in your hand and let them hop on your finger to eat, I suggest Apples and Bananas and Pear, they love them, and again never use force also Talk with them alot with your normal voice not pitch voice because they’ll learn your voice, never use Force.
Force, talk, apples, bananas, pear, and you, all aren't proper nouns. how old are you?
@@trishlikefish9875 You don't have to come at them like that just because of a simple mistake. You should've just told them nicely about their grammar. Don't say stupid things like "How old are you?". That doesn't help anything.
The Tater Of Imagination Grammar nazi spotted.
Hello, I’ve had my budgie for almost a month and a half now and she is SO SKIDDISH! Still! And I’m getting a little discouraged from hearing everyone else saying theirs got on their finger in the first 2 weeks. I need some more specific things that I can do to help my bird calm down whenever I come into the room. She is very skiddish when I first sit down and walk around my room but once I sit down she is fine. Do you know how I can help her calm down when I am moving around inside and outside her cage?
Great video, i see you have a cockatiel with your budgies. How do they interact together?
What happened to your channel you never upload anymore
I would love to see more of ur videos!
Why did u stop ? I really am looking for more vids by u since they have helped me a lot and I would love to see u back again with ur birds :D love ya
Army?
Should I clip my bird wing to tame them? What is your preference? also Did you let them out when you first brought them home? I saw it in the picture in the video...
Definitely don't do that, it makes them very sad.
❤ all your Video's....Wish you would do more of them....Really miss seeing them 😥...Please think about doing more..Please 😊
Hi, I’ve had my first bird for 7 months now, and he’s well tamed. But I recently got a new one, and they just met. My first bird is now possessive of the new one and will bite me and anyone else when we put our finger near him, when he’s with the new bird. Is there any way you could help me break him of that habit? Thx!
Omg i love that cage where can you get one 😂
nice video
i'm still letting my budgies get used to their cage (and me) but this was REALLY helpful!
So glad to hear. Thank you!
i named my budgie sprite too, because shes yellow and green hehe
My birds name is Sunny too!
When you first get a budgie, you should let it out the cage a lot and some handling.
Had our's for nine months now.
parakeet
4:02 how do we fix that so that they will come to our hand?
I have a question I’m looking into getting parakeets but would it be better to have a male and male or female and female or male and female can someone please let me know
probably two females makes get aggresive
I really hope you can answer this. Where do you get your budgies at? i want to know because your bird look healthy and i want to make sure i get a bird from a good store or breeder.
Great videos! Question... How can I get a fairly new budgie to stop wanting to bite us? We've had him and his brother for 2 weeks now, they are getting on well, but our Sweetheart likes to bite.
I do have a video on my channel about parakeet biting. One of the most important concepts is to try not to react to a bite. If your bird figures out that biting makes you react or go away, it could become a more pronounced problem. Second of all, you need to assess why the biting is occurring. If your bird is feeling nervous about you being nearby, then going back through a taming routine might be helpful. In any case, it would be good to make your presence something very positive for your bird. Hand-feeding can be very helpful here, as can be individualized attention.
The Parakeet Perch Okay thank you. I'll go look for that specific video.
It's better for you to clip your budgies wings as they help you to bond with you bird
Parakeet perch? More like parakeet master!
Hello nice channel 👏
Thank you very much!!
The Parakeets make wonderful pets 🐒
My parakeets are so scared if I even get near their cage they will move
Me to
Can u make any more vids?
It is same my budgie like this
I have a big question . Can I keep a parakeet in a mesh reptile cage ?
Do more vids
My white parakeet angle he likes to come out of the cage but he only sits on top of it until I take sammy out then he will go where she is but if I leave her in the cage he clings to the cage
I recently got 2 budgies one girl and one boy I know it takes a lot to tame them i try this but they still seem scared I don’t have millets yet but i will soon i try putting my hand on the bottom of the cage slowly and let it sit about 20 minutes, i just have a worried feeling they wont get used to me but i don’t force anything to them since this is my very first pet of course id be supper exited if you know what i mean. There also very quiet to mostly my male parakeet is the quietest and i know they might bite but like my make parakeet bite me deep but it didn’t draw blood is concerns me if anyone could help or something id be happy if you reply.
I bought another budgie on Thursday. he seems to be settling in well (I haven't seen him eat, but i think he does when I'm not there). when I'm at work my mam goes in my room and talks to him. but she's also been putting her hand in his cage and getting him to stand on her hand. but im worried she's going to fast. I've only just started putting my hand in his cage for 5 mins every 30 mins
but my mam thinks I'm going to slow and i should be putting my hand right next to him and getting him to stand on my hand. I want him used to me first and then get him used to other people
Hello! I have two female budgies that I got about 2 ish weeks ago! One of them, Freya, is very aggressive and whenever I try to take her out of her cage she flys around like crazy and bites my hand very harshly. I think it may have to do with the way the petco employee got her from her enclosure. He caught her in a net and was practically man handling her through the net to see the number on the little identification anklet. I also think he may have hurt her wings because whenever I let her out of the cage to walk around and have time outside the cage, if she flies to get away from me. (Which She always does) when she lands, she holds her wings strangely. It’s a bit away from her body and sort of extended but not a lot, the farthest flight feathers are sort of stretched apart, I don’t know if this is normal or not. I would appreciate if anyone in the comments could shed some light on what to do about her being aggressive and if she is hurt. Thank you!
Did you ever tame your bird
Does your budgies fight it’s cus of the cage it’s small
For tip number four, I always leave the food bowl in their with food in it since I’m at school most of the day. Should I not do this?
Leave their food in the cage or they will starve while you are at school
I’ve had my budgie tiki for about a year now and all of a sudden he’s acting aggressive and lunging at my fingers when I try to take him out, he doesn’t have a mirror and he’s never acted like this before. Could you help?
I would look for underlying causes, for instance if there have been routine changes for your bird or health changes and make sure nothing within those realms is contributing to the behavior change. If it's truly just a training issue, you may need to start hand taming from the beginning just to establish a routine. I do have a taming video that might be good for you to watch, since it explains things in detail!
The Parakeet Perch thank you so much!!! I will definitely try that!❤️❤️
Has he been molting his feathers? Did he stop?
Hi Dana
My two birds Aviary and Azora look exactly like the two you showed in the video lol
I bought my budgie about two months ago. I've had budgies before but this one is reaaally hard to tame. How long does it take (typically) to tame a budgie. I think it might be harder, as the lady who owned him before had him in a cage with another bird. The other bird bullied him and when I picked him up, he didn't have much wing or tail feathers to speak of. He still seems to be molting some of his longer tail or wing feathers, never really fully growing out his wings or tail feathers.
When he is really hungry, he will fly to my hand at this point, but he seems to be afraid of flying as he is a poor flyer do to the lack of wing feathers. He does fluff up when I talk to him at times or when I'm just hanging out in the room. He lives in my bedroom with me as I live with roommates, so he is used to seeing me just mind my own business. I try to talk to him while I do stuff and touch his cage. He typically climbs away or jumps away from my hand when I change his food and stuff. He will jump into my hand in the cage, but not let me move him. How do I get him to trust me more? I don't want him to be afraid of me
2007words just let him chill out in you hand for a while each day. I'm not an expert, but this should help. Also, hold food IN your hand, every once and a while, and he should get used to you.
My yellow name is also sunny
What is the easiest way to inspect your budgies for pain if untamed
What can i do if my budgie doesn’t want To go Back in her cage? She alweys wants to be outside And I can’t Leave her alone, can you advise? Thank you in advance
my budgie eats out of my hand now, but will it step on my hand by him self?
I was thinking of getting budgies..should you get one or two at first.. I want to get two because I don’t want to separate their bond they have together.
Two is a good idea, unless you have a good bit of time to spend with your bird daily. Budgies do have a strong need to be social.
Sierra Smith I was thinking the same thing don’t worry. I got mine today but they are very social. But with school and all I won’t have as much time as I need to spend with them. If you get two they will be more close to eachother than their owner, but that doesn’t mean that won’t except you into their flock. It just takes longer than having one.
How time tame budgie my 3
Im trying to get my parakeet to not fly around all over the room while still being outside its cage can someone show me a vid for that
I tame my bird in5days by knowing all youbes vides i have done 1 task of 1video
I have baby budgies and I really want them to be hand tamed I’m worried that I won’t
So please, if you have any tips please please help me 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Tbh all we did was grab our budgie and she got tamed right away 😂😂😂
@@rando2000z it took my bird 3 years to tame c'mon! 😔
Great video but, what if your birds aren’t tamed yet, can I still let them out of the cage?
No. Trust meh...
NativeChick1 mmm, I got my birds today. But I really don’t recommend it. Cause how are you supposed to get them back into the cage willingly without scaring them by picking them up a way they don’t want. In my opinion, I’m gonna wait till they trust me and know my hand to trust me enough.
Emily Winner good point! Lol thanks 🙏
You don't post alot anymore :(
I had my bird on my finger an hour after getting it. (RIP Candy)
Brendan Nielson don’t worry some people do that-just let it be for now
@@kasey2009316 bro shes dead this was like 13 years ago

Is it a good idea to take my budgie out of its cage when it’s not tamed
No. Trust me.
I took my budgets out of the cage and that was not a good idea.
I want to do that to but i think not
Blanca Garcia yeah I took all my budgets out and spent them and now I’m broke
