Quick Teriyaki sauce in the microwave

Teriyaki Sauce
2-3 T. brown sugar, or add more to your taste
couple shakes of garlic powder
couple shakes of ground ginger
1/4 C. soy sauce
some water to balance out the soy sauce
1 tsp. or more if needed of cornstarch
Combine well and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until thickened.
