    Can you please explain how to use bicarbonate of soda to tenderise beef, as you mentioned in this video?
    Do you simply sprinkle the bicarbonate over the meat, massage it in and then leave the meat for around half an hour - or do you leave it for longer?
    Then, before cooking, do you rinse the bicarbonate of soda from the meat using water or do you just cook it with the bicarbonate still ‘on’ the meat?
    I would appreciate an explanation.
    Great recipe. Thanks.

    • @zl8003
      @zl8003 5 місяців тому

      I’m not an expert but I’m from a Chinese household. You can massage the beef with baking soda and you can directly cook the beef with it. You don’t have to rinse it off. The longer you leave it the more tender it will get. If you have the time you can marinate it for a couple of hours but if not 20-30mins is good enough. You can do trial and error and adjust the timing accordingly to the beef texture you like
