@@icy1007No they dont and this is an area where I specialize in (Well its related, i specialize in computer science). Anyway E-cores are made for low demanding tasks, its in the name "Efficient"-cores. For gaming, E-cores can actually decrease performance and thats why they are used for background apps that run while you're gaming while the P-cores handle the actual gaming performance. In other applications like video editing, E-cores are useful and this is because that requires more "parallel computing", I am simplifying alot here but basically those kinds of applications benefit more from having more cores. All of this takes no longer than a minute from searching in the internet so please do before saying something next time.
If you still want proof from me, have you ever wondered why an 7800X3D (8 cores) was declared to be the fastest gaming cpu in the planet despite the i9-13900k (8 cores, 16 e-cores) exisiting? Clockrate is not a direct measurement of how fast a processor processes stuff. Things that affect the overall speed, in addition to the clockrate, include the instruction set used, the memory bus, and better measurements are instructions per second, or operations per second. Also, cores can be virtual (logical) or physical. Another thing is that speed can make up for a shortage of cores through multithreading (usually not enough to be a perfect substitute, but a good way of looking at it is a processor with 1 operation per second and 2 cores will work as fast as a processor at 2 operations per second with one core in some cases, but the faster single core will beat the slower dual core if they are both given a single operation (not a perfect comparison, and the equivalency is not a perfect 1 to 1);). multicore processors have an advantage with multitasking, and multithreading is not a perfect substitute for that but it helps.

Beyond how intensive a game is using the CPU, the more FPS a GPU produces the more we need a strong CPU, which explains why any bottleneck calculator will show less CPU needs the higher definition is.
And by the way all this makes sense depending on monitor's refresh rate : a perfect CPU/GPU combo will provide the highest framerate, but if the monitor is 60 or 75 Hz you don't need up to 140 FPS and 100 FPS for the 1% low, and will feel better capping GPU's FPS at our monitor max refresh rate, giving more room to the GPU to produce way less framerate fluctuations, and so more fluidity as framerate fluctuation provocs stuttering.
Which means if you're a non competitive gamer just enjoying a very smooth 60 or 75 FPS for games like Cyberpunk (and the usual AAA Action Adventure / RPG stuff) a 4070 can be pretty well managed by a 5800X3D (or even older older ones like a 3700X). It can even manage pretty well a 4090 for a buttery 60/75 FPS @ 4K.
Our monitors are our first and main bottleneck, and most players would greatly benefit from capping a strong GPU.

Basically to sum it up, if you play primarily gpu intensive games at very graphically demanding settings for example cod, cyberpunk, far cry, hell divers, or even fps games but with high settings and/or 1440p/4k, the difference in performance is so negligible it doesn’t matter and R7 actually beats the i9 in some games.
If you play cpu intensive games for example Fortnite, apex legends, valorant, csgo, Minecraft etc. basically anything where you are playing with very low settings and just want low delay/high fps get the i9 any day. It gives around 20- 30% more performance in that scenario 👍🏾
