6:55 This part is wrong. The connection have to be fully covered with a tube.
The video looked good, but there were more variables than I thought. And I needed more time than I thought.
But I had a sense of accomplishment because I assembled them with my own hands from beginning to end.I hope this will help if someone tries something similar.

This is bad idea to put LiPo under board. Your board has low clirance, so your "off-road" wheels are only suitable for flat road without holes and stones. Looks nice, but not for all roads.

    • @KAMiJUINs
      @KAMiJUINs  5 років тому +2

@@Laureloke There is no problem in my environment that I usually. But generally you are right. I'll try to change some of parts. It will be made to suit the more general use environment. (Actually, I didn't expect so many people to see this video. And the wheel was used for appearance rather than function.)

This is probably one of the coolest and most informative diy e skate builds I have seen. Good Job on just showing us how to do it without all the unessasary repetitive word vomit most DIYers videos have. Good edits as well. You didn't waste time on the video, but I know it took a long time to edit and make everything look clean like you did. I checked out your part 2 on this build as well, and the directness in your cost on all parts with total was great as well. Test ride was great with speed and acceleration as well. Over a big thumbs up!

Hi Kami, I would really thank you for this video, which is probably the most acurated that we can found on the net. With your help, I ordered all parts for my moutain board, based on your configuration and it’s work very well !! There is now more than 1 month that I ride everyday with it, in my little corner of France and it’s really so fun !!! I’m now looking for a method to use 4 x Lipo to extend my maximum distance avoided. 😀 One more time, many thanks for your videos an for the quality of them. Take care of you ... we are now awaiting about the next

You know what? You make the art of board building look simple enough and you probably got a lot of people off their butts to pursue this one little dream of theirs, I sincerely admire you for the effect you have had on people...your boards are fundamentally sound, and if they were sold retail, I would certainly want to purchase one. I think they would be great for those of us who have owned an evolve maybe, but have not the desire to pursue the DIY route for the eventual upgrade. This board are for those who are committed to the idea of travelling in an Electric vehicle, as if that was the normal thing to do, in the near future.

Awesome build. I keep coming back to the video. I have couple questions if you don’t mind. 1. Where do you get the inserts that you put in the deck? Why did you chose to the reverse motor mount over the smaller one? Thanks in advance

    • @KAMiJUINs

Really cool build... I hope you don't run into any issues but those nutserts that you put in from underneath the board need to come in from the top of the board. so that way the lip has to pull through the wood. All it's going to take is a little bit of moisture and those nutserts are going to come out especially with those monster batteries. This video makes me want to build a board so bad. If you do run into issues with the nutserts falling out pull the grip tape off put them in through the top and then re grip tape it and you won't have any more issues. you can also put it in with a little bit of a binding agent far as an epoxy or something.

    - or one big 6374 190kv motor (single belt drive sys.) with 12s LiIon
    batteries and single enertion vesc
The most important for me is:
    - acceleration, hill climbs, torque
Do you think one big 6374 motor can beat the hubs of wowgo motors?

I think the belt drive is right from your focus. The reason is the torque. And I think double is better than single.
Single drives have poor balance when accelerating and braking.(Especially if the road is wet.)
