PSA to answer "how do I get one" or "these are never available" questions: first, in my review of the MKII I outlined some strategies to get one. Since that time the community has grown and demand has increased. GoodWerks has made some significant efforts to increase production...but not to the levels that you all want (meaning these will NEVER be mass produced).
SO, here are my tips to increase your potential chances:
1. Sign up for the newsletter on the website (drops are posted there, and sometimes not ahead of time)
2. If you're on Apple, add the GoodWerks email as a "VIP" so you get notified when that email comes in
3. Create an account on the Goodwerks website
4. Add address and payment info to your account
5. RTFE...yes, read the email in detail. Some drops are for new buyers only, most are limited to 1 only. GoodWerks knows these are in-demand and will cancel orders that don't meet the details outlined in the email. These are efforts to get Boogie Bags in the hands of those that have never had one.
6. Pay attention on Instagram. GoodWerks often does Live Stories. Dial-in, say hello - ask "what's up Tim?" ...and watch what he is sewing 😜
Lastly, I'm not paid to say these things and not sponsored by GoodWerks. I just believe in what he's doing. He did send me the MKIII to test and evaluate and form my own opinion. The previous editions of the MKII I fought my way in and learned the hard way in many instances what doesn't work. Oh, and I started reading the emails IN DETAIL. If you don't like how things are being handled...that's cool. You're entitled to your own opinion. At the end of the day the Boogie Bag is a very unique product that solves an important niche for me personally and others. It's worthy of the hunt and you'll love it even more when you get one. I've done all the items you recommended without any luck. Unfortunately, I moved on as availability is a higher criteria for me. Isn't the gentlemen at Garage built gear and Notorious EDC in a similar production process with a small team? Their items are highly sought after but available once the email notification is sent. GBG and Notorious also have more of a selection.

So I found your channel about a year ago. I’m in the military in FL and I have been buying goruck since 2016 but I saw you review this product and decided I had to get one. Now, I have been literally trying to buy one for about a year and it was about impossible, I would almost just miss the email every single time. But today was MY DAY!!! The elastic loop on the bottom is perfect that tripod, but also works for a TQ if you want to be really overt with carrying one around.

Wonder how thick is the padding in the back? Do you prefer the padding or non-padding in MKII?
While I'd say the MKII is a little more packable I prefer MKIII. The thickness gives it a little more shape and gives another layer of protection. I normally have an action camera in there.
Price makes no sense. Too many waste packs at lower price with comparable offerings. Can get great backpacks for that price.
I think the demand for this product, which is a testament to the quality of workmanship and novelty of the design, says otherwise.
The Ukraine symbol is such a good heuristic for deciphering people.
