I have several bags that I have custom ordered from Packolab including a 37L travel pack, matching cargo sling and several Samurai slings and they are among my absolute favorite bags! The construction and quality is top tier and you can have it made using any colors or materials you want. I definitely recommend them! Great review as always!
Just ordered one. Borys is a real solid dude, helping with what you want and trying to make your specific wishes for the bag work. Cant wait to receive it.
recently ordered one and had mine built in. completely agree with you; a removable admin panel seemed unnecessary and just takes up valuable space. nice vid 👍 thanks for always uploading new vids!
I love this sling. Definitely think it looks better with RE’s or maybe like some of the more oddly shaped bigger Matsuda patches. 4:50 people in some parts of Asia still carry magazines but they are bigger and better than what peps in the states are use to. Photo magazine or like a much better, much better version of what we in the punk scene called zines, are becoming popular in certain parts of the US and other countries I would imagine as well.
Awesome video and review, as always! Amazing sling that I have bought from Borys, who is a great guy, always answering to all my doubts and questions! How long have you guys waited to get it? It'll be one month since I ordered it...
The side pocket to a clamshell opening? idk what it's called but yeah technically where the zipper would fall into pocket and keeps the opening of the bag upright instead of spilling out i never seen that kind of innovation before. where it utilizes as a pocket and that clamshell opening.
Hi, is there also a zipped pocket at the back? I usually put my phone there and am wondering if I missed you covering it. Could you confirm? Thanks so much for sharing and yes, unique and awesome bag!
This is a really cool one. Thanks for showcasing smaller makers from around the world - I'm actually of both Chinese Malaysian and Ukrainian descent, so bonus points for featuring both Greenroom and this brand :) If I may, I'd like to offer a gentle bit of advice: "The Ukraine" was the Soviet-endorsed English designation for what was once a region of the Russian Empire and later a Soviet satellite republic. "The" Ukraine carries the implication that it's not a politically defined region in its own right, but a sub-region of another one. Think "I was in Oregon" versus "I was in THE Pacific Northwest." "The Ukraine" was the offical moniker in the west from the Cold War well through the '90s, and it does kind of roll off the tongue. So I totally understand it being second nature. But now more than ever, it's important to re-assert Ukraine's status as a nation and its right to sovereignty and independence. Don't worry, it's not some major faux pas that will cause grievous offense to any Ukrainian in earshot. But these linguistic details do matter in our public discourse. You'll note that journalistic best practice has widely shifted to drop the "the" since 2022. Even so, I've still seen news anchors occasionally slip up. Another Ukrainian maker that might interest you is Riot Division. They mainly focus on technical clothing, but they have some interesting lightweight sacoche and waistpack offerings.
@@ThePerfectBagThanks Klint, every little bit helps. I forgot to mention, Keep is another interesting brand based out of Ukraine, though I don't personally have experience with their products. Their lineup is a weird mishmash of casual canvas bookbags and tactical bags made from technical materials.
OMG!!! How awesome! I was out traveling this week to come back and watch this video. While I was flying I was thinking of a better sling I wanted and this really checked almost all my boxes. Amazing thank you!!!🇨🇦
This bag was pre-made by Borys, so he made all the choices and then listed 4 bags at the same time, all variations on this theme. This was the one that spoke to me.
How does this compare to Greenroom136's PRIME offerings? I have the SLINGSHIFTER01, METRORUNNER01, and METROMONGER01 arriving this week-and just impulse-purchased the Samurai today (someone couldn't pay for it.) Thanks for the review!
well, this is a distinctly different feeling sling than the Greenroom136 slings. This one is a like a Mini-Metromonger in shape, which is a really useful size. This has some really funky pocketing too - although there are lots of different versions of this bag out there. You'll find uses for all of them, but which ones you use the most will come completely down to what you carry on the daily.
You asked "how do you get these?" and it cut to that Indiana Jones advert where they have to do the water displacement in Archimedes' tomb. I know you'd said the process was a bit involved, but I didn't guess it would involve having to solve ancient puzzles!
@@ThePerfectBagif you measure the weight can you also measure internal height of main compartmnet? I need to store vertically in the bag a sunglasses case that measure 17cm on long side
Nice review! But…this thing is a man purse. I think the sweet spot for a sling is around 2L. The Evergoods CAS 2 would be the optimal size and shape if I had to use one.

could you give me a rough estimate of cost for the bag please?
@@tyoshea12 Indeed. I've not been able to find out if this one is in my price range at all.
Mahalo Klint! It is gorgeous and you picked great colors for it
Can't wait to receive mine! Asked for the removable panel to be converted to a simple tablet sleeve and deleted the front velcro and loop
Roughly what's the pricing look like?
@@zanedempseywhen I messaged him a couple weeks ago, the default sling started at $150 before additions and shipping

That’s hilarious!!!
Quick question... do you think an A6 memobottle fits in the pouch? Thanks!!
Yes it should
Thanks!!
Nice video, can an ipad mini fit inside the bag?
Yes - no problem on that one.
Thank you for the quick reply. I appreciate it. I'm now on facebook w/ Borys.
It’s a great bag. I wonder if he could do a dedicated iPad mini section? It would just sit in the main pocket on the one I have.
That's an awesome bag!
This bag is a home run!
Totally agree.
Can it fit a nintendo switch or steam deck?
I do not own one of those devices, but looking at dimensions I believe this bag is a little too small

What about the weight?
Empty it weighs a little less than a football. Fairly light.
