    Is the jerk from Olympic weightlifters do the clean jerk can be substituted as force absorption? Does it follow the same principles as force absorption, ??? Also, is it essential to switch feet for the jerk to maintain leg balance?

      Coach says for depth drop you want the legs relaxed and torso tensioned for force absorption. I don't think jerks allow the legs to be relaxed or elastic.
