  • Oscilatory means that you consiously turn ON and OFF motor units to create muscle tension. Now doing it combined with an isometric contraction can allow you to focus on the contraction and not the movement technique.
Great training method for athletes who needs to produce HIGH speed and HIGH power.

Does it make a difference doing this at shortest and longest muscle range?

I recommend doing it at the positon of highest tension, so it depends on the exercise

@@THIBARMYSince the strength curve diagram of most exercises usually starts low, builds, and then starts to drop off, just before the end of the range, that would mean the best would typically be middle to upper-middle of the range, no?

@@ab3585 what's wrong with working out? This video is about maximizing power output when lifting weights. Is that against Christianity?

There's nothing wrong with working out just don't make it the whole focus of your life. Have a nice day

@@ab3585 that's not what your original message said. Neither did this video either. It bothers me how some Christians try to push their religion on everybody else in situations that don't have anything to do with their religion. This wasn't a bodybuilding video and it wasn't about making lifting the whole focus of your life either. Nobody is going to see the comment you made and convert. All it will do is annoy people and push them away. Jesus, may peace be upon him, didn't give you life either, Allah did. Worshipping Jesus(pbuh) is wrong. He worshipped Allah and told people to do the same. Let me ask you this, if Jesus(pbuh) thought he was "God" in human form, then why did he ask God(Allah) "why hast thou forsaken me?" When he was supposedly on the cross? There are two problems with that. A. Was he speaking to himself if he himself is actually God? B. If he knew he was dying for mankind's sins so they could be saved then why would he see it as being forsaken??? That makes absolutely no sense. Rather son of God(no), form of God(no), or Prophet of God(yes), either 3 would understand that in that circumstance he wouldn't be being forsaken and would have full faith and security in going to Heaven afterwards. I would love to hear you make this make sense because I have yet to hear a good answer.
