This was a great intermediate workout. I am in my late 60s but this is more up to my level although I so enjoy all the videos with you and your mom. I found you while contacting Covid, developing into pneumonia. My energy levels were practically null, so if I could do your videos twice a week I was good. You helped me get through that difficult time. I continue to follow you and your mom, especially on days where I don't have too much time to exercise, I can always fit you in. This intermediate level was great. I worked up a sweat. I hope to see more. Thanks for all you and your mom do to encourage and uplift the community near and far.

I really like this one! I've been doing your beginners strength training for a few weeks and I notice the difference! My clothes are growing! I tried this intermediate today and I love it - it was fast and challenging for me (76) you were doing something that reminded me of boxing ... now I'll look for a beginner boxing UA-cam video to add to my workouts with you and your wonderful mom!

As always I give your new workouts a preview and decided to get right into it very soon after hydrating. I used 2 lb. wts. to start and will probably stick to this weight for some of the arm lift segments (right rotator cuff issues). I plan on eventually using my 3 lb. dumbells once I meet each challenging move with more ease. I also have to watch jumping due to knee issues but try to avoid being wooden legged about it: I add just enough lift to avoid feeling like a clod! I had no problem with the cardio challenge, though! This routine is a great 3 times/week endeavor. That you combined cardio, strength, agility, and balance all into one was wonderful! Thank you and greetings to Aiko!...Anastasia

My simple request is a 20 minute intermediate level or next level total body strength workout with weight resistance. so maybe 20 to 30 minutes would be appropriate. I have found no other fitness trainers that are a worthy as you and Aiko. So keep up the good and great work for the world of senior who are never forgotten but just pushed aside (but who built this world for the idiots to mess up and we will do our best to recover the world for goodness) but we are here baby supporting the wold in goodness and so am I!!! Great workout! I have to stop for a second at each twist in the ab twist section. I have inner ear problems and if I twist too fast I get nauseous. So, I twist, stop a second, and twist to front, stop, twist to next side. You might want to suggest that to anyone else who may be experiencing the same thing.

I used this workout for Day 5 of the *1 Week Strength Training Plan - Intermediate* . I chose it because it combined challenging upper body moves with cardio at the same time, but I realized later that it includes a lot of lower body and core strength moves also, so I guess it's just as well that I skipped a day between Day 4 and Day 5 of the challenge. (I had intended to do this workout yesterday, but I was too rushed before work and too tired afterwards.) I used 3-pound dumbbells through most of the workout, sometimes doubling them up to hold both together, and I tried 5-pound dumbbells with some of the later moves. I just read my previous comment about this video from 2 years ago and see that I had used 5-pound weights all the way through back then -- so now I'm determined to work my way back up to that level again! If I can motivate myself and have enough time to do another short workout later in the day, I might try one that focuses exclusively on upper body strength (but that's a big *_IF_* 😉).

I finally tried this one and really enjoyed it. I like that it combines cardio and strength training at the same time, and although some of the moves were challenging, the gentle pace made it manageable. I used 5-pound weights for all the exercises for which you used weights, and I was able to do the "fast feet." I did the low-impact "half-jacks" the first time around but actually managed to do real jumping jacks the second time through -- first time I've even tried that in years! :)

Thank you, I did this with 15 lb weight and 20 lbs weights and when you did fast feet just like football players I know this. Love, exist as your voice tone changed at the beginning and I knew someone cares for us older people. I used this opportunity to remember my positive memories and I grew stronger. Even my memory of Toe Joe Yamamoto the wrestler came back and I just liked him and his wrestling style and my memories of all my positive female friends came back and I felt no guilt for loving them in my heart of care and with care. Wow, good does exist! Thanks is 4 or 5 workouts today is enough? But maybe more workouts later?. What do you think April and Aiko?
Great job! It's recommended that you get at least 150 minute of cardio and at least 2 strength sessions a week. The strength sessions can be as long as you need them to be -- listen to your body. You should feel like you challenged yourself but not overtrained (to the point where you're losing form.)

I really like this one! I've been doing your beginners strength training for a few weeks and I notice the difference! My clothes are growing! I tried this intermediate today and I love it - it was fast and challenging for me (76) you were doing something that reminded me of boxing ... now I'll look for a beginner boxing UA-cam video to add to my workouts with you and your wonderful mom!

I really loved this workout as I feel I have progressed to this level - thanks to you and your mom. I missed Aiko and Mochi, but I really loved this level of intensity. As always I give your new workouts a preview and decided to get right into it very soon after hydrating. I used 2 lb. wts. to start and will probably stick to this weight for some of the arm lift segments (right rotator cuff issues). I plan on eventually using my 3 lb. dumbells once I meet each challenging move with more ease. I also have to watch jumping due to knee issues but try to avoid being wooden legged about it: I add just enough lift to avoid feeling like a clod! I had no problem with the cardio challenge, though! This routine is a great 3 times/week endeavor. That you combined cardio, strength, agility, and balance all into one was wonderful! Thank you and greetings to Aiko!...Anastasia

The out-out-in-ins done quickly were really good for working on agility. I really enjoy the workouts that integrate/alternate strength & cardio because I end up feeling all-around stronger. Thank you. I have resolved my dilemma's successfully. I feel comfortable with your channel. My simple request is a 20 minute intermediate level or next level total body strength workout with weight resistance. so maybe 20 to 30 minutes would be appropriate. I have found no other fitness trainers that are a worthy as you and Aiko. So keep up the good and great work for the world of senior who are never forgotten but just pushed aside (but who built this world for the idiots to mess up and we will do our best to recover the world for goodness) but we are here baby supporting the wold in goodness and so am I!!! Great workout! I have to stop for a second at each twist in the ab twist section. I have inner ear problems and if I twist too fast I get nauseous. So, I twist, stop a second, and twist to front, stop, twist to next side. You might want to suggest that to anyone else who may be experiencing the same thing.

I used this workout for Day 5 of the *1 Week Strength Training Plan - Intermediate* .
I chose it because it combined challenging upper body moves with cardio at the same time, but I realized later that it includes a lot of lower body and core strength moves also, so I guess it's just as well that I skipped a day between Day 4 and Day 5 of the challenge. (I had intended to do this workout yesterday, but I was too rushed before work and too tired afterwards.) I used 3-pound dumbbells through most of the workout, sometimes doubling them up to hold both together, and I tried 5-pound dumbbells with some of the later moves. I just read my previous comment about this video from 2 years ago and see that I had used 5-pound weights all the way through back then -- so now I'm determined to work my way back up to that level again! If I can motivate myself and have enough time to do another short workout later in the day, I might try one that focuses exclusively on upper body strength (but that's a big *_IF_* 😉).

I finally tried this one and really enjoyed it. I like that it combines cardio and strength training at the same time, and although some of the moves were challenging, the gentle pace made it manageable. I used 5-pound weights for all the exercises for which you used weights, and I was able to do the "fast feet." I did the low-impact "half-jacks" the first time around but actually managed to do real jumping jacks the second time through -- first time I've even tried that in years! :)

Thank you, I did this with 15 lb weight and 20 lbs weights and when you did fast feet just like football players I know this. Love, exist as your voice tone changed at the beginning and I knew someone cares for us older people. I used this opportunity to remember my positive memories and I grew stronger. Even my memory of Toe Joe Yamamoto the wrestler came back and I just liked him and his wrestling style and my memories of all my positive female friends came back and I felt no guilt for loving them in my heart of care and with care. Wow, good does exist! Thanks is 4 or 5 workouts today is enough? But maybe more workouts later?. What do you think April and Aiko?
Great job! It's recommended that you get at least 150 minute of cardio and at least 2 strength sessions a week. The strength sessions can be as long as you need them to be -- listen to your body. You should feel like you challenged yourself but not overtrained (to the point where you're losing form.)
