Scamps are the best, I'm fully hooked. I've never been to Colorado Springs, I'm hoping to check it out ASAP. Somehow I only learned about Garden of the Gods within the last year, how that is possible is just beyond me. I can't wait to visit, have fun! ✌
Super helpful, looking to van camp here with the wee dog, maybe kids, so I appreciate the sneak peeks. Any other local spots you visit I'll be subscribed. Thank you!
Thanks for checking us out! We've got a busy few months planned so if everything works out we should have some pretty cool stuff coming up that we look forward to sharing!
Cool video, just wanted to offer a bit of info on that hook in your campsite. It's a lantern hook. They seem to be pretty common in Virginia parks; I had to look them up the first time I stayed at Chippokes.
I grew up camping in Oak Grove at Harbor View back when it was a privately owned campground, and my parents eventually moved to Ebb Tide, so seeing you drive down route 3 was a bit surreal for me. We used to go to the beach at Westmoreland park all the time when I was a kid, too. I just found your channel a couple weeks ago and I'm glad I did.
I'm glad you found us too. I've never actually camped at Harbor View, but I've driven back there and checked it out. It looks nice. We've got a seasonal spot at Monroe Bay campground, we're very lucky to have a site right not the water. We love that place, I might do a tour of MBC soon. I think that the Northern Neck is an under appreciated area. I guess it's kind of a secret spot and I suppose it's kind of better that way. Take care ✌
@@aceboardtheangler5252 no, they’re both gone now, but they lived on Blackwell in the white house with the long deck by the pond. It’s a nice little community back there. 😀
We borrowed a friend's Scamp for a trip to Colorado Springs. Family of 4 - we had a lot of fun with it. Thanks for posting!

Nice job. Always great to take a tour of a Virginia State Park.
We enjoyed our visit and stay. Will definitely be back again soon!
The site on the road is perfect for familys with kids riding bikes makes it easy for Moms and Nanas to keep eyes on the kudos.
I hadn't thought about that, I could see how that could make it a well positioned site! Thanks for sharing that perspective!
One of my favs! Campground C is also my preference! Be safe.
I've been sleeping on this campground for too long, I'll be back again soon for sure! Have fun ✌

Hey D.W. Your parents still in Ebb Tide? I live there currently. It’s really awesome
