Love this park. Fun fact, my 91 year old dad use to walk though that area when he was a kid/teen, before it was a state park. He like many moved to Ohio at 19. We would go back several times a year when i was growing up.
Thanks for this video. I grew up here, and moved back to my surrounding hometown a few years ago. I have many memories of Audra, and haven't camped here in a long time. Great job and I hope you had a great time.
I've stayed here before and loved it. We are booked again for July for a couple nights. I love being on the river in the woods. Do you know of any other campgrounds like this in west virginia?
Hello 👋 Jason, it's good to see you again. Greetings from Northern California. Thank you for the pleasant "walk thru" this amazing camp grounds. I would love to be there right now. All the best to you and your family. Stay safe out there. 😊
Wow, that’s a great campground. Well laid out. Those sites along the river were excellent. Many of the smaller ones had nice character for tent sites. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like a beautiful campground! Excellent walk around. Been eyeing out places to take my 30 foot trailer, looks like a few spots there may work. Looks like a lot of good spots for tent and hammock camping as an alternative to the trailer. Would love to be along that creek in my hammock!
Yes, I believe there’s plenty of spots that would hold a 30 foot trailer. And I agree about the hammock camping along the river that would be perfect! Thanks for checking out the video!
To be honest with you, I can’t remember but I doubt if there is any 50 amp, I’m guessing just 20 and 30 but it might be best to check with the camp office first
Just camped there. Beautiful campground. Lots of different sized sites, some on the river. Electric is 50/30/20. WiFi is very spotty. Up near the office are some benches facing the river-where you can connect. They said next year WiFi will be throughout
September 24. The nights were pretty cool and the water levels were way down. Seemed like a pretty good time to go for us. It would’ve been a little bit better for leaf color waiting two more weeks.

You are welcome! We had a great time and i'm sure we'll be back again! Thanks!
West Virginia is one of my favorite eastern states and I've been to all 48 soon to be 49. Awesome and informative video. !
Thanks Jacob! Still a lot on my list for West Virginia for sure! I'm guessing you're heading to either Hawaii or Alaska?

I have not but Blackwater Falls, Beechfork, Babcock, Campcreek, and Holly River are 5 that I would like to visit.

Thanks James! Yeah, I would love to hammock camp along that river in the summer!
Thanks for all the info on the park. This one's definitely going on the list for next year. The walk through was great.
Thanks! I would love to do some kayaking on that river too!
Wow man!! Great job capturing such an amazing park. Definitely been one of my families favorites. Thanks for sharing!
It's a beauty for sure, thanks AJ!

very helpful thank you
Great vid, thank you! Arriving late-ish this weekend. Firewood available for purchase after camp store hours?
Thanks! That's a good question and I'm not entireyly sure...probably best to give them a call. Enjoy!
What are the roads like getting to this park? We would be coming east on 64 then up 79. Great video by the way
Thanks! The roads were no problem to navigate at all...very enjoyable drive.
exit 99 baby, my mom lives in Valley Bend, my brothers live in Parsons and we grew up mostly in Grafton.
Beautiful area!
Are the electric poles 50/30/20 or just 50? Great walk through btw. We love being able to pick the best for us

Hey man thanks for the video. How far is this from cincinnati?
Thanks! It’s about 5 hours directly east
I see you posted this in Oct but is that when you were there? Just wondering what the weather was like?

What time of the year were you there? We are camping there at the end of September.
We were there the last week of September
@@jasonwish- that’s great. Looks like the foliage will be great then.
How much a night?
$35 per night non electric and 43 for electric, they increase quite a bit for 2024 😢
@@jasonwish- thank you
Are the sites electric only or do they have water hook-up as well? Thank you!
They are electric only. There are several water fill up areas around the campground loop. Thanks!
❤❤❤
❤❤
No electricity 😢
Well, a majority of them did have electricity just a few of the really nice ones right on the river did not
