ahemhimynameis I think Jeremy Clarkson was on the UK version, and Jeremy Piven was on the US version. He might've sinned the US version, but could only find the UK version.
Sin 82: That wasn't a race. It was clear that Doc Hudson knew Lightning McQueen was going to wipe out on the dirt track and had no intention to truly race. So the question of whether or not anyone has seen him race is totally valid.
And plus even if it was considered as a true race or not, I don’t blame everyone else in the town not believing the fact Doc was a racer in his prime since based on the context Doc probably didn’t talked about his past to anyone else before Lightning went through his stuff
And he just drive normally to where Mcqueen crash, telling Meter to prepare his tow to pull the idiot up. He never race with Mcqueen. In the folks eyes, he just fucking him up.

Jeremiah Bachmann they've been around since 1982 so unless you were 15 in the 70s, they were. Toy story, which was their first full movie, came out November 1995. I was 16 by then. They were doing short films as they developed the software and technology through the 80s.
Well, it was called the Winston Cup, so the "pun" worked in and of itself. I distinctly remember seeing a badly-subtitled DVD copy calling it the "Pissed-in Cup", though.
The part where Lightning is cutting the track with the trick he learned, he is not cheating. In NASCAR, if there is a wreck in front of the driver or a driver is in a wreck, the driver is allowed to cut the track to get out of it or avoid it.
Dale Earnhardt never intentionally wrecked other drivers, that was the result most of the time when he meant to bump them out of the way, he was called the intimidator. I can't say much about Tony Stewart because I don't really pay attention to him, so eh. Let's not forget about Kyle Busch. Back to the video, Chick Hicks always wrecked other drivers on purpose.
Because that's how racing was back then. There's a lot more to a car than you think. Air and drafting, for instance. You may not intentionally mean to wreck someone, but by taking off the air of their rear you could do that. Does that mean they should be disqualified? No, they don't because it was an accident. A racing incident. And there was a time, at Daytona and Talladega, where "bump drafting" was a thing to go faster. Either way, what Dale Sr did certainly made him infamous, but he did grow up and it was his racing style. You don't need to like it, but you can't condemn him for what 43+ other cars have done at least once in their racing career.
Your comment is true, and the reason Dale had such an aggressive driving style was because the racing series he started in, before he moved on to the top level of NASCAR, the racing he started in was down and dirty, every driver would do what it takes win the race. For Dale, winning a race meant that he could provide for his family.
I agree with you, and I understand, I was just pointing it out, that's all. It's just that I believe that you are a better driver if you pass them cleanly, than if you just shove them out of the way (unless of course, they are purposely blocking you). No hatred against Dale Sr, it's just that I don't really agree with his driving style. And yes, Kyle Busch does drive like that too, and I don't really care much for him either. Sorry for the late response btw
11:10 "I've never known a time in sports history when an athlete was still in his prime and got completely ignored because that person suffered a season-ending injury." lol poor Rhonda Rousey?
I know Dale Sr is dead but just because he's dead doesn't mean they can't have a car portray him in the movie. In Cars 3, the Legends were portrayed for Smokey Yunick, Junior Johnson, Wendell Scott & Louise Smith & Junior was the only one out of the 4 who were still alive.
Showmanship. Being a good sport. Sure, Andretti was SPEED, and he made his name by winning. But without being tact in interviews in public relations, he would never have gotten so much support.

He's watching the British version; US has another guy as Harv.
Watching Cars was like atleast 75% of my childhood, I absolutely love this movie.
Does Lighting McQueen has Car Insurance or Life InSurance ??

I love how his immediate reaction to chick wrecking the blue car is “Tony Stewart”. That literally had me dying after he said that.

2:00 well it’s very common for everyone to pit at the same time when a safety car gets called out, since you can get away with a free / cheap pitstop
*BING*
he obviously doesn't know anything about racing. He's probably never heard about under/over cuts.
Although you can argue staying out is actually a fantastic tactical decision by Lightning which is portrayed as a bad one.
12:13 That's Jeremy Clarkson's voice, which is much better than Piven's.
Ok, I have Cars on DVD and the voice of Marv is a TOTALLY different guy. I'm mind-fucked. Help.
ian1231100 in the English version it's jermey pivin but yes the voice of the one he is seeing is Clarkson so honestly sin against cinema sins
Asking the big question here: do these cars need car insurance or life insurance? 🤔
*pretty sure you can bundle that at progressive*
When a cop car pulls over a civilian cars, does he ask for a driver's license?

Well if you switch to Gieco, you can save 15% or more of life insurance

Pixar wasn't a thing when I was 15.
Jeremiah Bachmann they've been around since 1982 so unless you were 15 in the 70s, they were. Toy story, which was their first full movie, came out November 1995. I was 16 by then. They were doing short films as they developed the software and technology through the 80s.
How innocent childhood is, I love revisiting these movies and seeing just how many sick jokes I can’t find, honestly makes them that much better
I laughed SOOO hard at the "Tony Stewart."

I feel like it was called the piston cup just so Mater could say that...
Well, it was called the Winston Cup, so the "pun" worked in and of itself. I distinctly remember seeing a badly-subtitled DVD copy calling it the "Pissed-in Cup", though.
Cea Aguirre ohhh, I don't watch a lot of racing, so I wouldn't know that😂
I just realized. His name is Mater. This is supposed to be a kids movie
Cea Aguirre My dad used to be a huge fan of racing, so I know stuff that probably isn't true anymore.
"Okay, here we go, focus."
Man for a second I thought that was Jeremy tryna will himself through this.
I totally thought so to
The part where Lightning is cutting the track with the trick he learned, he is not cheating. In NASCAR, if there is a wreck in front of the driver or a driver is in a wreck, the driver is allowed to cut the track to get out of it or avoid it.
+AmtrakHan6903 Idk, Tony Stewart, and Dale Earnhardt Sr. made careers out of ramming racers out of their way.
The scene with Mater doing tractor tipping and the tractors farting will never not be hilarious to me.
