    Going to follow your advice and not feel guilty eating those foods not so nutritious but are satisfying... and being mindful.... not sure how I will do that!

      Well done Donna! Deprivation only leads to more binging down the line. When you can enjoy treats mindfully and on occasion, you can help yourself create a healthier relationship with food.

    So is there some sort of cook book? Do you prepare meals? How do I start?

      Great question Ursula! We teach women how to cook and eat to help them lose weight and reverse their high blood numbers through The Homemade Method. We have a recipe book but more importantly we teach our members techniques so they can cook and eat nourishing food no matter what. We also tech how to change your relationship with food so you can create healthy habits that get results that last.     I'm type 2 diabetic and on anticoagulant therapy for life so I must be careful of vit k vegetables. I normally followed lazy keto. Now we're just swinging in the wind. We swim and exercise in our pool as weather permits.

      There's a bunch of other health issues too. No msg or caffeine.

      You're not alone Hope! So many of our members also have type 2 diabetes and need to be mindful of vitamin K due to anticoagulants. The good news is that we have a team of Nutritionists and Dieticians to help you navigate reducing your blood sugars AND staying on track with all your other health goals too :)

    I can't eat eggs, wheat or dairy anymore, and most carbs except rice. I eat what I can. For example. Fruits, vegetables, chicken and salmon, and spices. I am trying not to eat too many astringent foods or antihistamine foods.

      You are doing what you can and that's so important to celebrate Elizabeth! We love that you are enjoying some healthy foods like veggies, salmon and fruits :) It's all about being just a little bit better than the day before rather than aiming for perfection!
