This is the second workout I’ve done of yours. Love your presence and your instructions and I’ll definitely do more workouts with you! I’m aware you cannot put into place everyone’s suggestions because these workouts involve a wide skill range audience BUT if I had one comment it would be to do more reps of the same movement. I’ve always been told “you won’t build muscle until muscle fatigue has occurred” so therefore I find myself wanting to do more reps but you have moved on. For now I’m just pausing the video which works. But anyways keep going and I’ll keep joining in on the advanced workouts!

Hi! Thank you so much for your feedback I really appreciate your insight, and I'm glad that you're enjoying the workouts!
Yes I admit that in my classes the amount of reps is not particularly high, you'll find that's the case with many traditional Pilates teachers. The goal tends to be on proper alignment and performance of the exercise, rather than going to the point of failure. But I totally get that everyone has different preferences so it's not that one way is right or wrong & I think that's great that you've been adding reps to get your desired amount.
I will definitely keep this in mind and be more mindful about the number of reps for future classes. You could also try increasing your spring tensions which would make you reach that point of fatigue sooner and see how you like that.
As a general rule - lots of reps tends to build more endurance, where as heavier resistance tends to bias more muscle building.
Thank you again and I hope that helps, thanks for being here!
