Just got my 2019 mazda 3 hatchback yesterday and omg i'm loving it. i've never had so many features to mess with!!!

So if you turn off some of the safety features in the menu , Do they reset to on when I you switch the ignition off then back on? Or do they stay off till you change the settings. Thank you and enjoyed the video.
For the last 22 years I've always been listening to mp3s that have a length of 2 hours. Think about shows like a state of trance. When I listen to such a mp3, is it possible to go to any point in the mp3 with in seconds? For example to skip a song or go directly to the second hour in a mp3.
Been having a problem on how to change my Home address. There seem to not have setting in the navigation to change my old address to new address.

I went to navigation but then I can't type the destination. What is the possible cause for it? May something I need to put to use that?

Ans this video makes me feel like I dont know the new car at all.
I just bought 1 with 8000 miles on it and I didn't notice at 1st but the little plastic part around the screen. It's like has wear and tear on it and I don't know how I'd see that before. But it's the only way to switch that the little tiny plastic piece right around where the screen is. It looks like it has a line like it's a separate piece but I don't know
On my 2024 Mazda 3 using Carplay and Apple Maps, I can’t display/select most of my saved locations.
Imagine if they put this infotainment system in the CX-5!!!
Sorry but you missed to present the most useful thing: how to you type the destination if the screen is not touchscreen? I assume you know that the mic won't recognize the streets in other languages. I think you intentionally avoided this, and just set a "recent" address. Also it would have been useful to do the same thing with Waze, not just the built in map.

You're actually stupid. You use the jog dial to enter the address and for basically everything.
There is a keyboard that pops up that you scroll around with the dial to pick letters. Looks exactly like the phone dial he showed in the video just with the alphabet instead.
Does the Apple Car play work wireless via Bluetooth?

How to reset
Typing adress in for your destination is a pain in the ass when your car does not have touch-screen, thats a fact. And you avoided to adress this issue with the 2020 mazda 3 and Cx-30. other mazda does have touch-screen, but only when the car IS NOT MOVING... its still a pain in the ass and took longer for the driver to type thje adress and you even gets more distracted
1. use voice control 2 you should never under any circumstance be typing address while driving. putting yourself and others at risk which is literally what Mazda is aiming for

mazda believes it’s more safe to have the screen up high near the line of sight and have a dial to control the screen

@@Mickeytothemax lol no it wouldn't, the screen would be covered in grubby fingerprints & in certain lighting conditions you wouldn't be able to see the damn screen because of that. Terrible idea, glad it's not touchscreen.
