- Here is my forth video in this build series. In this video I will complete steps 28 to 45. This includes the turret, gun barrel, and all the electrics that go into the turret.
This will be a step by step guide into making one of the most popular WW2 tanks in history, the awesome Tamiya's Tiger 1 RC Tank. I hope you all enjoy.

Obtaining "synthetic rubber cement"...all now sorted. Cheers, Iain.
Excellent review and walkthrough - looking forward to the paint video
+Lord Lorenzo thanks
Bratko, thanks for the video!
+Shop Scale Modeling (Alexander Kolesnikov) nema problema :)
Steve,
You've got a Big paint job to do on this Tiger tank.... :O)
Very entertaining.
+rujagorn sarapun thankyou
hello brother, you're doing a great job of assembly. 👍👍👍
+RC AVENTURE Vincennes France thanks, glad you are enjoying it. Painting is coming up :)
RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 yesssss 👍 👍
Seems like it has more detail than the King Tiger I bought last year. I don't think mine has any detail inside the hatches and the loaders I hatch I had to modify to make it open. I'm going to make new tow cables for mine and add the engine covers that they added to keep allied soldiers from dropping grenades through the larger grates. It's the first model I've airbrushed after watched your IS-2 videos and I wish I would've got one sooner it's so easy to do.
+Matt C awesome Matt, airbrushing is not hard to do. I think people find it intimidating at first. Glad to hear that you liked the JS-2 video.
pt 1 "here's everything the kit comes with"
pt 2 "here's how to put together"
pt 3 "this was to boring to watch being put together, but here's what it looks like"
pt 4 "I did all this, when i was supposed to show you how to do it, but who cares."
etc.
sorry i had to keep up the good work tho☺
TAMIYA. The King of Models. Also known for their very high price tags. If I remember correctly, TAMIYA released three versions of the 1/16 scale Tiger. One had full electronics, sound. One had no sound. The third and cheapest was the one with no sound or powered features. This last one was very different from the first two, as it came with full interior detail. If you want even more upgrades and detailed parts visit Taigen.com.
Sure for model detail Tamiya is the top but for RC Armortek is king. Though compared to my ArmorTek tanks the Tamyia was dirt cheap I own this very model as well and it was only $900 or so. Yes I know price is subjective to the individual but I as a former German Army tanker (still in the reserves) in the modern Panzerwaffe. I love the tanks of our forefathers, no politics just the engineering etc.
I must have spent near $6k on just my Panther G alone and the AT tanks 200-300lbs are so heavy I had to buy a van to haul them around.
My Tiger II weighs about 320lbs fully kitted out. I like Amortek's as they are so heavy you do not get that barrel wobble you see with plastic tanks such as these.
I just bought my 3rd Amortek Hetzer so another $5k or so after all my options and detailing are done.. Wife is gonna love that :P Don't get me wrong love Tamiya models and again I do own this very model but its just a static model now. I just love the weight and heft of the AT tanks nothing comes close, love it when you see actual tracks on the ground due to the weight of these guys.
like hi tech blue peter, here's one I did previously
Today we're baking a cake. Here's the ingredients. This is what the recipe looks like. And here's the finished cake. Thank you for watching.
The Bovington Tank does not have the front lights or the rod D15,but nice video
Thanks
I'm having a little difficulty in obtaining "synthetic rubber cement"....for the road wheel rubbers and other items...can you give me a trade name or manufacturer...any additional information will be greatly appreciated
Thanks very much, Iain.
Can the escape hatch at the right side of the turret be opened and closed?
No
I have couple of questions
1 where did you get this
2 how do you make it shoot
3 where the hell did you get it
Purchased from Crazyhobbies 👍 and no you can't make it shoot
RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 I can I have my tricks I replace the gun with my version
Were you buy it
+Calvin Dela cruz crazyhobbies
You put the top hatch on wrong. The lid should open with the commander's back to it, and the commander facing the front of the tank. Not sideways.
Actually when you look old pictures of Tiger 1 the hatch opens on the side.
Sideways is correct. See Tiger 131 at Bovington UK
He applied the hatch at the correct place.
It couldn't move around.
Does it shoot
No, tamiya kits don't
Where did you buy it and how much?
+Ron Quirap Crazyhobbies, Check out the link in the description
OK tnx,I will check it out.
add zimmerit!
Would have been better with more detail-- too many steps skipped. Otherwise a good video of the Tamiya Tiger I kit build-up...
Then the videos are far too long
@@RCTanksTrucks247 Sometimes brevity must be sacrificed for accuracy and completeness. I only complain because I found a few confusing steps.
I thought u are talked too much vellas
.. try time lapse, they would love it.
P.s. also to long for title
+Wiesank GeniE sorry man, time lapse lack the details I am after
PAINT THAT PUPPY!
+thedetectorist 108 soon mate :)
Pretty useless," hear is the turret (all done). How? "Very good instructions " No,they are NOT good.
Pretty useless comment if you bothered to check that I have a whole play list regarding this tank
