    Surprised you didn't go with the 45 in the back the full enduro gearing. I love mine . Of course I have a 701 enduro model in sm trim. Wheelies come up so easy in 3rd and I can do 4th but I try to keep my wheelie speed down since my crash last year ;)

    • @Twedymoto
      @Twedymoto  5 років тому +2

      Can't quite remember why I went for the 44, maybe so I didn't lose too much speed? It great anyhow, perfect for what I do but might gear it up again for a larger track in a couple of months! 😁

    Oi oi Mint wish i could send you pics of mine.I got mcn carbon fibre kit sticks n moulds amzingly.that noise apparantly can be fixed by a manual tensioner.Is that the original plastics and if so how did you get off the original graphics.

    • @Twedymoto
      @Twedymoto  5 років тому +1

      Yeah I've seen that kit and thought about ordering it myself for extra tart-ness. It's the original plastics and the factory graphics are set into the plastics (either laquered over or laser etched in) so you cant remove them but you can buy plain white plastics from the dealer.

    how much is insurance on 701s in comparison to other similarly powered bikes like the mt07 etc?

    • @Twedymoto
      @Twedymoto  5 років тому

      I haven't checked other bikes for insurance but the 701 for me where i live is roughly £300 for the year with 4 years no claims and no accidents which IMO is very cheap!

      Nice one mate! :D I think mine was £80 or £120. Basically an hours labour plus parts. Dealer done the first service and I've done all services after that myself.

    Would recommend low speed 1st gear clutch ups or in 2nd gear? I have a 701, but haven't practiced wheelies yet

    • @Twedymoto
      @Twedymoto  5 років тому

      The 701 is the first bike i've ever wheelied after 12 years of riding lol. I learned in 2nd gear, 1st was very snatchy. Once you get used to doing it in 2nd at say 20mph, try first and see how it feels but it comes up VERY fast!

    You need to learn to change gears when your doing wheel stands or you’ll never master them. Be aware that the first time you flip it your pretty show pony will go from brand new to very 2nd hand in about 30 metres.

    • @Twedymoto
      @Twedymoto  5 років тому

      Show pony - LOL. Yeah i've only just started to try changing gear mid wheelie. it's gonna be a long time before i get anywhere near balance point haha.

    • @Jajeweet
      @Jajeweet 4 роки тому

      No you need to learn balance point to master wheelies. Not shifting gears
