I nearly abandoned this script after it ruined my system when I first ran it, but after giving this video a quick look, I found out this script is one of the most useful things I have ever used in the game, so thank you for being clear and fast.
Hey man. I'm not that advanced in the game and i was struggling with the script for some hours. But ur video just made everything clear. You're my go to SE youtuber now. Thanks and keep up the good work man
Thanks for this, using this in 2023 and it's all working brilliantly. This is a must for SE. Bases get huge with stuff everywhere, this at least helps you organize on the fly.
Wow....I just watched this, which was great by the way, even after 2 years. But what got my attention was that at the end of the clip, you said help us reach 1000 subscribers lol.....2 years later your at 3.94mil. Great work sir
Excellent explanation my good sir! I always wanted to create an updated video for my script but I never found the time to do so. May I link your video at my script page? I'm looking forward to see your explanations of my other scripts ;)
Great! You're now the official video tutorial guide for my script, because you did it way better than I did ;) As for the next video though: the ship refueler is in desperate need of an update.. On my channel it's still called the "Battery recharge helper" which was its former name... I never updated that :-/ I would happily put a link to your video in that description as well!
I was watching Splitsie use Isy's Inventory with the Industrial Overhaul mod. It was giving him such a headache :D Thanks for this tutorial, it made understanding what he was doing much easier.
You should've pointed out that you CHECK CODE after changing settings. I wasn't so sure and it's a good thing I watched the right side when you checked the code after changing some stuff or I would've never known
A wonderful guide! I use the script now but I've only ever activated it and let it run without changing stuff. Now I can tell it to fill all of my bottles and drop them in a specific spot that's easy to reach!
The only thing I didn't catch was how to manage a utility (welder) ship with multiple containers. Say I want to use a BoM (Bill of Materials) from Projector to Assembler (plugin/mod) which is a nice easy list of everything needed for a build in an Isy's compatible format. Is there a way to balance the containers in a way that allows a huge list to span multiple containers simultaneously?
Awesome tutorial. Thank you for that. Is there a way to setup the main lcd on a wide lcd which is 90 degrees to the side? So 2 block high and one block wide? Or split the info to 2 screens placed that way? I'd love to have a larger font without the scrolling.
Nvm I found it on my own. In case anyone else wants to do this, set the categories in the LCDs Costum Data to true/false according to what you want to show where.
This works good on Wide Screen LCD as well, turn them Upright so they are longer up and down, then go into Rotate screen and turn the LCD Rotation slider so the Lettering is in correct orientation then add your Text, stop s a lot the scrolling we hate.
Nice! Didn't know about the "-" in the autocrafting. Here's my 2 cents to add to your great tutorial: with IIM be mindful how you set your hydrogen & oxygen bottles. With you swapping empty bottles for new ones, before too long you'll find yourself having 20 bottles, even if you set the Autocrafting to '1'. The trick that worked for me was assigning the O2/H2 Gen Special and setting it to '1' as well. Edit: Or an easier solution you can set IIM not to craft bottles.
@@KnowBotty You might want to comment on the workshop file too and let Isy know about the video as it will help others who are struggling with the mod.
Bit of an odd question here about UA-cam UI. Where is publish date displayed in an open video page (on this page)? I opened this from steam and wanted to see when it was published and can't. Not sure if YT just doesn't show it, if I'm blind, or if my UI (MS Edge) doesn't show it. Probably should just google it, but I'm gonna go with with the excuse that comments help the channel... :) [Edit] I did check description also (I'm not saying people should write it, I thought YT might display it there).

Anyone knows how to make a dump container? I got a large industrial container just outside my base which i just wanna use for dumping inventories but it keeps renaming/using it for ores and ingots which is horrible since the container is outside my base. Locking or ignoring the container defeats the purpose of it being a "dump" any ideas?
For displays with multiple lcd's there's a way to display the info on the primary lcd or another one, but I can't seem to get it to work. Any suggestions?
I think he explained you can call them "Special" and change the custom data to a minimum level (say 500 uranium ingots). That way - I'm pretty sure it would refuel as well!
Issue im having is that its pulling all my components from my mobile base ships. Rather than just locking them or disabling the connector I want the ships to maintain their inventory and restock when they dock with the main station. Trying to figure this one out.
Rename the ships connector and add the word [No IIM] this should fix it, if that does not work try [No Sorting] instead, and make sure to use the brackets.
11 months late but just use a sorter directed at your ship. The inventories will be connected and can only flow into the ship You can also add the “special” tag to the ship containers to keep the exact amount you want stored keep on board and restored when connected.
Only 1 script is needed if all the grids are connected. ie, a truck and trailer. If you dont want them all conected refer to the connectors in the vid.
Hello, we used IIM for autocrafting esp in a multiplayer game and it started to autocraft hundreds of bottles and thousands of elite rifles, even tho we set the wanted amount to 6 bottles and 6 rifles. any idea what might be wrong and how to fix it? we tried recompiling, turning the pb on and off, restarting the server and prettymuch everything we could think of already.
Great video and great script. The only issue I am having is my bottles are blinking in every container when theyre supposed to be in a specific container that I named Bottles. How do I stop that?

@@KnowBotty I am having the same issue. I did turn off the programmable and then renamed the large cargo container, but when I turned the PB back on the name adds Tools, Ammo and Bottles back.
