@@vivekjadhav3594, I agree but teaching the right form early is really important so the body conditions itself for progressive overload and reduces injury. People shouldn't correct their form as they go heavier, they should really concentrate on the contractions and focusing on mind to muscle connections right from the beginning, they will progress quicker.

I am 53 years old woman and wish to join gym plz guide me starting exercise
1. Focus on eating a healthy diet (slight calorie deficit to lose fat and slight surplus for muscle gain) and eating enough protein (about 1.2-1.6 g of protein per kg of bodyweight).
2. Learn the proper form of basic compound movements like squats, push ups, lunges etc. For this practice with bodyweight only.
3. For the first 3-4 weeks do full body workouts with mostly bodyweight. And follow it with 10 minutes of light intensity cardio. After that follow a 4 ,5 or 6 day workout split.
A sample full body workout:
a. Bodyweight wall push ups/ incline push ups for chest
b. Arnold press for front delts (front shoulder)
c. Lateral raises for side delts (side shoulder)
d. Lat pull downs for back
e. Bodyweight squats for legs and hips
f. Bodyweight lunges for legs and hips
g. Bodyweight calf raises for calves
Do 3-4 sets of each exercises for 10-12 reps. Start with a proper warm up alongwith dynamic stretching (not static like shown in the video). End your workout with 10 minutes of walking on the treadmill.
Check the proper form of these exercises online and go to the gym every alternate day (3 days of gym and 4 days rest ).
