Season 2 by a far margin. Season 1 are the famous stuff, but they play too simple, or outright too insanely challenging. Season 2 has a perfect balance of fun, mechanics and challenge

How does it feel to cross pollinate Season 1 & Season 2? S1&2 Locations+S1 Heroes+S2 Villains? Do you think the S1 heroes feel weaker in comparison to Xmen heroes?
It’s absolutely fun to combine them! The season one heroes usually also have more action symbols on their cards, while x men characters have more abilities. They can feel pretty comparable in strength, but some heroes in both seasons are just objectively more powerful, and the designers did that on purpose to reflect the unique strengths of the characters from the comics :)
Yeah that’s a bit unfortunate. I didn’t really know x men characters but loved the stretch goals just because of the character’s creativity and originality
