Blue & Gold teams don't seem to be kickstater exclusive. But Apocalypse, Sentinels, First Class and X-Force are (along with Phoenix 5 and Fantastic 4). Like No apocalypse and sentinels at retail? Come on. Don't see blue & gold on amazon yet either

I am a fomo junkie and if there are no exclusive ill likely pass and wait for retail. I don't feel cmon is evil for maximizing profits. At least they make great games.
@@admiralcbass1786 I don't know, I look at that KS and I see the base pledge for the boardgame is way above retail and most of the stretch goal add-ons are B & C Tier characters so, it's not evil but- I don't like the way they structure those KS. You pay more up front, get rewarded with characters you don't want, then pay extra for the stuff you DO want. And yeah- I know some people want AF or New Mutants but, they're likely the minority.
@koalabrownie first off, awesome screen name. I think that tier two and three in the xmen universe is so subjective. Then again I wanted even more villains and more distinctive hero cards. Also, how many version of wolverine do I need?? If they go only the most popular they get acused of being shallow if they add the lesser know but beloved then they are pledge locking. You do have a point that crowdfunding is more expensive than retail. Due to shipping a single game to a single location as opposed to pallets to a distributor. Since they want to sell games and make money they obvious need to offset the shipping with the extras. I am in the minority in the opinion that, if the demand is there, the companies should reprint these promos (cards minis etc) down the road. The more people who play the heavier the hobby.
Thanks for the video! I was bummed I missed out on the Kickstarter campaign, but I decided to pull the trigger on most of the X-Men boxes and I'm glad I did. It's extremely fun, and the addition of various villains in the large box is totally worth it since it changes the base game so much. Also, Rogue's my favorite, so I simply HAD to have the Blue Team box.
All characters are simply expansions for the base game, and some add different rule sets. You can use the rule set for Blue vs Gold with any of the heroes or villains across either of the campaigns. You can also combine it with super villain mode and have 7 people playing.
It was a kickstarter. So that is gone now. If you still want it you will have to go on the secondary market, or see if any game shops have anything for sale.
Most of the expansions are coming to retail but missing a kickstarter exclusive hero. For example, in the Blue Box, Banshee is kickstarter exclusive so you miss out on having him but wayyy cheaper than buying the kickstarter version on black market

As of right now only one expansion has come to retail in the U.S. and that was the spiderman one that was only available with the season 1 base box as a bundle. I think the season 1 boxes did go to retail in spain, and I think there is plans fro them to be in Canada as well. But, as far as the season 2, I haven't seen those show up in any stores for pre-order yet.
