That was in fact Cyclops in the Phoenix Five box. It’s from the Avengers Vs X-men crossover where basically the Phoenix Force was returning to earth they thought Hope would be the host, instead it gave it’s powers to five X-Men: Cyclops, Colossus, Namor, Emma Frost, and Magik. Great story.
Currently Marvel Disney owns everything Marvel except the Spiderman verse. Spiderman, his villians and most other associated with him are owned by Sony. Disney bought the x-men, fantastic four and a number of other characters when they bought nearly all of fox studios assets in maybe 2018? 2019? So things are gonna be interesting.... Edit: Chris Evens was Humam Torch and Captain America, Michael B Jordan was Killmonger and the Human Torch in another Fantastic Four movie. I think there was another....
Those sentinels look so cool! It was very hard to choose which expac to get but I went with Apocalypse because I loved him and the 4 horsemen in the comics.

This was my first all-in, and my second Kickstarter ever after Longshot: The Dice Game! I missed the original Marvel United, so I went all-in on everything here to get all for both campaigns!
Dude… when all of this arrived I had this “What have I done” moment… I put it aside in a corner and still have PTSD from it lol no idea where I’m going to put it all.
I agree on all my KickStarters coming in at the same time...started with Isle of Cats expansion and Canvas expansion last month, and this month is Wonderland's War, Tome: The Light Edition (trick-taking card game), Marvel United X-men, Hidden Leaders, and the new re-issue of Fjords.
Of 24 boxes in my MU combined all-in both stretch goal boxes and gold team inserts were broken, 3 outer boxes were dented/dinged. Firestarter cards were misprinted colorwise. Villlian cardboard expansion had 1 sheet duplicated and missing another. Yes had a higher expecation. Just compare Awaken Realms packaging techiques vs CMON its light and day. That said I am also trying to figure out if I care if I plan on rejecting insert (it doesnt support sleeved cards anyway). The dupe missing thing should not require us to individually submit tickets. Nor should fixing Firestarter but having never played MU I dont know if that matters. I might decide to consolidate boxes so maybe I don't need to worry about the 3 damaged boxes.. still they need to do better...
God CMON cheaped out majorly on the packaging. I got the all in for both X-men and the original United and all but 3 inserts were destroyed and unusable. The shipping boxes had not packaging and the inserts were very thin and cheap which compared to AR like you said is so vastly different. AR feels like they actually care that people enjoy their products while CMON honestly feels like after the boxes are shipped they don't give one whit what happens

I think folks influencers (cough cough) need to be exerting a lot more influence about setting standards regarding crowdfunding quality control which includes shipping and handling. If AR can do it and pass the costs on to backers so can CMON. Companies should not be resting on their laurels like CMON does but then again Lego keeps using the same ridiculous packaging for the last 20 years too... sigh.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before in the comments: The Old Man Logan you kept saying during the Days of Future Past opening wasn’t the Old Man Logan, just a version of Logan During the First Class opening and the discussion around Marvel/Sony and who makes what movies, Marvel now because they bought Fox has the rights to make X-Men and F4 films, Sony has Spider-Man, and Universal Studios has Hulk and Namor.
And a fun nuisance to the Spider-Man deal, Sony contractually has 5 years and some odd months to make a Spider-Man movie from the time the last movie came out, and if they don’t the right to Spider-Man films revert back to Marvel. Literally it’s that simple and the NPR Plant Money podcast has the fact check. This is why the Amazing Spider-Man films with Andrew Garfield came out so fast after the Tobey Spider-Man 3 film. The nuisance with Universal I believe, fact check from a New Rockstars videos, which one I can’t remember, Hulk can appear in a team up movie hence why we’ve seen him in the MCU, but he can’t have his own headlined movie title i.e. Hulk 3: Hulk Smash.

@@BoardGameCo I’m sure it will come down to licensing deals, but Eric Lang has done it before with Dice Masters (though he had Wizkids licensing help there), which was originally just Marvel Dice Masters. I CMON trying it if they thought they could make money from it and could get the license.

I know this isn't related to this video really but is it possible for you to do a breakdown of the marvel zombies pledge manager that just opened. It would be nice to know if it makes sense to back additional base pledges (knowing they'd be cheaper in retail) to get the extra set of stretch goals and whether they would hold their value well with the astronomically high shipping. $155 to the US for the All-in without additional add-ons
My pledge wasn't exactly "bare minimum", but even if it were, Core Box + Promo Box + X-Force is an ENORMOUS quantity of miniatures, and lots of villains. The add-ons I went with were Future Past (those sentinels were irresistible!), the extra game mode-adding Blue Team (to get those '90s Animated Series characters), and Fantastic Four -- because I keep thinking one day they'll get a new comic series or movies that really do them justice!
Definitely could be wrong here but Evangeline Lilly was Betty Brant, or at least some person working in the Daily Bugle in the Tobey Spider-Man, and she is Wasp, so not a super hero for one but is for the other.

So fun watching you go through this when you never watched the 90’s X-Men cartoon, the New Mutants movie (Fire sword girl :)), or read the comics in the 80’s, 90’s, or when Avengers vs X-Men happened (I missed that one too and don’t read X-Men now, but heard some about Hope Summers, Krakoa, Bishop, Cable, and other recent storylines). I grew up with X-Force (“Cable was in a movie,” Domino was in that same movie with her power of luck 🍀 :)), Apocalypse, Sinister, Excalibur, X-Factor, Gen X, and the Blue and Gold teams. I saw the Dark Phoenix Saga in the 90’s X-Men Cartoon. I read through X-Tinction Agenda, the Legacy Virus, and the Phalanx Saga amongst other stories from that era! Since Rina said she watched the 90’s cartoon, it would have been fun to watch her go through these boxes with you! :). Loved your attempts at this (to be fair, X-Men can be quite convoluted like Cable or Psyloke/Kwanon/Betsy Braddok’s origin stories!)

FYI some owners haven't noticed this yet but, in the Days of Future Past box, there's Sentinel Challenge Cards. On Sentinel 3 it can actually "grab" ur Hero. Ur instructed to put ur Hero mini in the sentinel's hand! He can walk away with u, and u only break free by using a "Move" icon. Also, when u play against Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch, DO NOT look at the Masterplan cards beforehand! There's a cool surprise in one of their abilities. A feldher box or two might be good/better for protective minis storage from what I’ve looked at. (The guy in your second link’s miniatures are sure to break at some point). I’ve also seen someone on UA-cam just display his painted minis on a wall and just put all the cards, locations, dashboards, and tokens in a box with red and blue pawns to replace the minis for easier portability and play. (The minis are great, wonderful for painting, but truly unnecessary for actually playing the game. They could have done the same with flat tokens with stickers on them of the character you are using, but where is the toy factor in that! :)).

Fox is owned by marvel now, and they use to own fantastic four and cement licenses but now that’s back at marvel. Sony own Spider-Man And the distribution rights for hill solo movies are with universal
The original two X-men are good, if a little dated by today's standards. Not every character was handled with care, but there is a many great ones. First class and days of future's past is also amazing. Logan is perhaps the best of them all. Everything else though is on the bad end of superhero movies.

FYI some owners haven't noticed this yet but, in the Days of Future Past box, there's Sentinel Challenge Cards. On Sentinel 3 it can actually "grab" ur Hero. Ur instructed to put ur Hero mini in the sentinel's hand! He can walk away with u, and u only break free by using a "Move" icon.
Also, when u play against Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch, DO NOT look at the Masterplan cards beforehand! There's a cool surprise in one of their abilities. First Class is good for kids or newbies because of the Danger Room.

A feldher box or two might be good/better for protective minis storage from what I’ve looked at. (The guy in your second link’s miniatures are sure to break at some point). I’ve also seen someone on UA-cam just display his painted minis on a wall and just put all the cards, locations, dashboards, and tokens in a box with red and blue pawns to replace the minis for easier portability and play. (The minis are great, wonderful for painting, but truly unnecessary for actually playing the game. They could have done the same with flat tokens with stickers on them of the character you are using, but where is the toy factor in that! :)).

The original two X-men are good, if a little dated by today's standards. Not every character was handled with care, but there is a many great ones. First class and days of future's past is also amazing. Logan is perhaps the best of them all. Everything else though is on the bad end of superhero movies.
The Wolverine is average (better than most MCU/DCEU films imo), but other than that I agree.
Try milk or ruby red as an alternate to coffee. Not interested in Marvell universe branding 😉
