Now here is a very odd one. A console that claims to be 16bit and touch screen. Is it really? Let's take a look.
When Mark removed the screen protector and asked: "happy?" i was like: "this is the internet, nobody is happy".
Isn't that the truth. People who watch my channel are pretty cool for the most part though.

The music on the puzzle game at 6:15 is a midi file that came with Windows 95. Wtf?
9:42 I remember playing that game for the PC via HP Games. Man those were the days(other than just getting free trials)
It looks like it's running a low-end 32 bit processor. Probably an something like a STM32 F2 with a CMOS or Flash chip storing the games. The way it's running it look like either Embedded Java or Android 2.xx.
The TV Out issue recording is not a malfunction of the unit per-say. I'll bet if you plug it into a SD TV the system would work fine. The old analog standard lets you get away with a ton of sync tricks. My guess is that as the processor get taxed it it changes it sync and screen mode to smaller screen sizes. This happening because the processor is under-powered. Shocking!
*STM32 Demo Boards* - you can get these individually for $1.50. You but the boards in bulk for $0.50 to $0.75. The buy just the chips in bulk you get them for $0.11 each. They have enough flash memory to store a base OS and then pull in game. The that chip usually comes with with 24-40 GPIOs. If that's processor this is using a decent hacker should be able to dump the flash memory and re-flash the unit. The only issue see is if this a glop top.

Yes, I was pretty pricey when I bought it. I was expecting something much better than this. But hey, at least we got something that wasn't a Famiclone.
I had that audio video problem and I thought it was no good but I tried all my China cords and one worked with a problem

Magic love is a rip off of a famicom game called Binary Land, a game in which you control two characters in the same time (one being the reverse mirror of the other in the moves). The goal is that the 2 characters touch the exit at the same time. At first, the labyrinth is the same in both side so it's easy but when the labyrinth are different it's becoming very interesting as a puzzle game. A really good game Mark, you should try it really. ^^
I did actually go back to that one later on. It is strangely addictive. Quite a nice addition to this little system.

Hmmm...Looks like a gamble to pick this one up Mark. Although the screen looks nice and solid as well as the games, but I'm not 100% sure if I should good ahead with it.

First time I saw SS on a USB cable, it kinda cracked me up. I know, SuperSpeed and all, but maybe they could have shortened it differently.

...Kinda want to play some of these games, actually. I mean, they probably are just clones of existing arcade games. Puzzle Bobble is obviously Puzzle Bobble. They seem kinda nice for a quick distraction from reality, though. Maybe I'm just weird.

reading through the comment section i see it was priced around 30€. if it ran emulators it could have been decent for kids or novelty, but since it only offers garbage mobile games CLONES its existence is redundant at best.
You can get some old junky smartphone or tablet on eBay for that price and run better stuff..

I'd imagine they don't know the meaning in English. In Japan they mark the Saturn as "SS" on auction sites.

Yep the 4:3 screen in the 16:9 chassis doesn't look weird at all. Still waiting for a game console built into the shell of a waffle iron or maybe a Roomba. ^_^
Well yeah, the screen protector does obscure a fair amount. ;) Points for the resistive Touchscreen and the Robocop2 color plastic but it loses those points after for the extremely broken AV output. Odd choice to cut the L&R bumpers out but include four option/function buttons. Idk 4 out of 10.
Logan Jorgensen it's probably cheaper to keep all the buttons on the top of the circuit board.

It probably is a hack but not Bomb Jack. The jump physics are very different.
At about 14:48 of some amusement is the use of the term 'cloaca' as seemingly a name I guess? It's a technical term for the anus of most birds and reptiles etc.
Hehe, I wonder if the developers knew that? It's kind of like how now none native Japanese pronounce the city "kobe" or "Neo Kobe" as found in Snatcher. They say "kobi" which means animal sex. If only they new how stupid they sound. The "e" should be pronounced the same as in egg.
It's an option to still playing android games when your cell battery runs out xD.

To be fair, there are quite a few interesting little games on this machine.
chinese clones are very interesting. I have i chinese clone console from gamars. simply called game player. its an emulator of cps1, ps1, snes and gba. it uses ps2 controller and sd cards for game the case or the shell is modelled from a ps1 mini shell. i can't find any information about it online. i don't know how to save games too.
Ah, that sounds like a system I had but that looked more like an Xbox One S. That didn't do PlayStation though.

Shame the build quality and included games are so poor. To it's credit, the screen actually looks quite good. Maybe not so much on the motion blur, but the color detail and such looks rather nice.

to be honest I've always thought the way we (British) spell center to be stupid. It doesn't even look right. Add that I've been away from seeing British English for a very long time (20 years) resulted in me not being able to recognize the word. Do't get me wrong though, I do prefer British English, especially when it comes to the classic examples such as tomato and aluminum.

Just because it's from China doesn't mean it's guaranteed to be total crap. Some of these items are surprisingly good for what they cost. This item wasn't that cheap so expectations were a little higher than normal.
True, but lets be honest here. Either the hardware is crap, the sound is crap, the games are crap or all three of the above are crap. Spending money on these is never a good idea. Instead of trying out 20 of these to get a "good" one, spend that money on a psp, vita, switch or whatever fits your taste.
Still enjoyed the video tho - its always fun watching train wrecks =)

To summarize - not a knock-off - and that's terrible. Would've been way more useful and interesting if it just had actual GBA or Genesis ROMs on there, not these "Original" (well at least programmed by them, even if copycats) chinese games.
