I like big windows and i cannot lie…
Sig Romeo 8T and Romeo 4t probably the best red dots on market especially with magnifier used with bdc reticle. Both are slept on because of price.
Price is honestly probably the biggest factor.
If you don't need the ruggedized 7075 housing or 20M submersion rating you can get the Romeo4H and even 4S sometimes for $260 with the Circle Plex reticle.
I just installed an 8T on my Steyr AUG. This sight is great for bullpups because it can installed directly over the pistol grip, which aids in mitigating the weight penalty. As someone with severe astigmatism, I am amazed at the crispness of the dot.
glad to hear it works well for you!
Literally anything 🔥
Liked for the intro
My local gun shop put this on my Bren 805 pistol when I was shopping, and my God it was beautiful. Just here for a second opinion. Love the review!
sick, thanks man!
Great review. Have been curious about the Sig Romeo 8T - thanks for the awesome information
No problem 👍
I abuse my 'battle' gun. I've been running the 8T for a little over a year without failure. Great optic
Fantastic video 👍👍
Thank you 👍
Killer optic.
Great review. Thank you. Never thought about this optic. Maybe get to SIG Academy and check one out. Thinking for duty use.
A solid RD for the Space Force!
No doubt!
I have two black 8h's, and 1 fde 8t. Best on the market imo, no reason to ever buy anything else
If you care about battery life and durability it's pretty close to the top.
AMAZING
I've been thinking of getting one of these. May have helped make that decision
They are a solid option.

I love the SIG 8T!! Originally designed to ride on SOCOMs new SIG MG 338 Norma Machine Gun.I hear you keep saying the glass is not as good as eotechs but it is, it's better you see eotech uses the battery draining holographic technology while the SIG 8T uses LED technology that's why it uses a film filter on its glass and eotech does not. This bad boy has been field tested on SIGs MG 338 norma machine gun, not the new kid on the block been out for about 4 years now. #SIG8TJULIET4X
Need to try out the Juliet 4x magnifier.
I like big windows and I cannot lie, is what I thought you were about to say lol
I bought this optic I was very interested in it but I bought it completely because of your review and it is a awesome I repeat awesome optic
Glad I could help
The 8t would be a whole lot better if those dust caps were see through lenses.
There's a reason they're opaque. Its to see during daytime/bright light with both eyes.
I run 4T with vortex 6x magnifier. Using scalarworks 1.93. Smaller window but same features as 8T. Bright Crisp and Lightweight
How you liking that Vortex 6x?
Also I think that the Romeo4s are great T2esq alternatives.
@@gundeals 6x is great. Clear with no real distortion. Eye relief is shorter than I like. Advantage to running with red not with multiple reticle makes just as good as 1-6x lpvo in SFP.
I may have to try that one out!
@@dbut5427 what ammo and barrel length? I just got the 4T and the Trijicon MROHD 3x and thinking about the 6x for when I really want to mess around over 200 yards on my 10.5" 300blk build. I'm wondering what sort of holds the 5-9-15 MOA holds end up being for you under 6x magnification.
Awesome review. I’m getting it..
Hope you enjoy it!
I chose this over eotech because the battery life on eotech really scares me, especially on my home defense rifle.
The Romeo4t is actually rated at a maximum of 130 In/LB but 65 is recommended.
I am sure you can get a ton of torque on the mounts, not always good to risk it though.
Used in the Spanish Armed Forces👍🏻
Where is the link to your store? You stated it in the video, but I couldn’t figure out what you said it is….
Thanks
Anything
I heard the owners manual was etched adamantium.
I thought it was unobtanium.
Personally, I hate EOTECH. I remember going from the Colt full auto SBR’s with irons to testing out those damn three round atrocities where you had to mash the trigger rather than tickling the full auto. Then came that damn EOTECH that washed out at the NM SWAT range. The BUS were necessary to hit a damn target. I am good on my personal MK 18 and Colt M4 with Aimpoint. What I am looking for is a large dot window for my B&T APC Pro 9 Glock as a force multiplier to my G34. But would the 8T defeat the purpose of the light weight B&T?
It's definitely going to add like 7oz vs a micro style red dot.
Ok boomer
🤙🏻💪🏻🇺🇲
I’ve been looking for something not EOTech and not Holosun.
we will be bringing out most of the sigs.
You could leave this dot on for 11 years and it will still be kicking
Do you know how to install the anti-reflection revice?!!
you should snap out the front cover and snap on the ARD
I've been waiting for a good review on this dot forever. Can you grab an mro to compare it to?
I could, what do you want compared between the two.
@@gundeals Clarity, fov, parallax, haven't seen a double drop in a while
Double drops I save for FT.
ANYTHING
Why my article is soo blurry? Even with low little setting.
maybe contact sig and see if yours is broken.
what magnifier was you using in the intro?
Vortex VMX3 its their 3x micro.
I just ordered the 8t with sigs micro 3
Like it. But I'd get the eotech for the price and made in U.S.A
That is the main competition I would say.
It's made in the USA.
@@MF-Rell It's assembled in the U.S. The parts are all from China.
@@cnclife2739 And you think that these other companies aren't getting parts from China? They're your AK away then bc Putin hates us.
@@MF-Rell there are still companies that are usa products. If I can I support usa stuff. Even if is 50percent made in the USA. Better then 100 percent china.
How does this compare to the Sig Romeo7?
tougher design, bigger window, 3x the cost.
Would the Juliet 6A good option for this?
I like 3x and 4x magnifiers. The 6x is a little too heavy and difficult to use.
Thank you for responding to me subscribe to your channel God-bless
For that price an Aimpoint T2 is better any day or a Comp M5.
if you are concerned about size and weight, absolutely.
Where’s your suppressor at hot shot
it's hiding.
