well the ceo did say something about software, and it cutting power at around 100mph, probably due to lack of GPS speed like you said, it would be sick to see a basically no limit rimac on a dyno

The car isn’t actually rated at 2000 hp you know, it is 1900. So that figure you calculated off your phone is very close to the rated amount, assuming that the drivetrain loss percent you used was accurate.

For it to be doing a mid 8 with 2000hp at that weight. Something is missing.

@beanapprentice1687 I think he's engaging in UA-cam empty bravado. The Nevera weighs 5100 pounds. To haul that kinda weight to an 8.4 sec 1/4 mile is not the realm of your average production car...

I am not at all a fan of EV's, but damn that Rimac looks amazing and seems like it drives like a bat out of hell. Love to see it.
I’m an astounded by the facts that you a CEO of willing to allow their customers. Test their cars to the max limit. Unlike some automaker brand that would “hurt their reputation” of their car did not perform as expected.
If you engineer a car to meet specific criteria, then ensure said car is manufactured to the specifications, then it should perform as expected. If you try to fudge numbers to make it looks good then you are lying and you should fear someone testing it out in the wild. Glad Rimacs is actually being honest if not understating things.
Unlike most hypercars, this one seems like its perfectly fit to rag on a bit and doesnt hurt the powertrain at all.

That thing is insane. Also I would definitely cry if I won the lamborghini. That is one of my favorite childhood cars. On top of how life has been kicking my butt lately.
