- Today we get a unique opportunity to drive the production spec Rimac Nevera. After having driven the test mule when I used to work for Rimac back in 2020, this was an extra special occassion for me, to compare the two versions of the car. Thank you very much Goran for assisting me on this drive!

It's interesting that no matter where you come from or what language you speak sliding a car around a track puts a smile on everyone's face 😊
Not on fart engine fans
I dont think silence puts a smile on anybody's face.
@@ryze9153 but the sound of the motors do
@@Thot-Slayer-420 loool
Well yeah physics
This is a perfect example of how trained Mishas brain is to “grip” and not “drift” even in drift mode he wanted to maintain grip ❤️. It’s like if you take a formula drift guy and put him on the Nurburgring 😂 love it
You can train your brain for both, everything just needs practice. A lot of professional Time Attack guys are also often pro drifters. Yet, all rally drivers know how to drift as well. The drivers in the top drifting championships like D1 or Formula Drift came to drift from other racing directions and if they know the N-ring well enough, we will be faster than majority of average racing drivers and certainly faster than all track days amateurs.
The development driver is a drift driver. However he is a killer on a track as well
I think it mostly has to do with the car helping. If you're trained to do everything yourself it can be very distracting if the car starts acting in an unexpected manner. Just needs time to adjust to that.
there is almost no lumbar support on the seats
@@BlingJ. We get it. You have back problems.
Well done to the Team who developed this - not just a "one trick pony"
At this point it’s just unreal to see where technology has gotten on cars.
Imagine when they get the driver training mode finished and the car will take you on a hot lap by itself. Faster than even the test drivers who are very familiar with it.
yeah and at $2.2m per car it's so accessible lol
@@Fhrivneoauf Nobody mentioned anything about accessibility.
@@Fhrivneoauf Well the way technology works is usually trickle down so eventually maybe everyone will get access to a car like this. :)
@@MrKillRoy14there isn't anything new about this, high discharge batteries have been on the market for a long time...
The highest capacity 18650 is still around 3.5ah as it was 10+ years ago, if anything we've gone backwards since lfp batteries are less energy dense.
Biggest problem with this pos is it can use the pack up faster then it can be charged.
9:30 the car went from going straight at 50 km/h to full sideways 4 wheel drift scaringly fast.
Well, yeah, in balls-to-the-wall mode it is. Of course, in an ICE car, it'd probably not be as abrupt as this...
that speed is the speed that the wheels are moving (wheelspin), is not the “real car speed”
@@danigbro he's talking about the transition from normal driving at 50kmh to a 4 wheel powerslide being super fast. Not the cars speed during the drift.
Everyone knows the car is not drifting at 160kmh.
@@danigbro I undedstand it's not going sideways at over 100km/h.
But the fact it managed to go full send from a slow speed in an instant is impressive. Even most drift cars have to accelerate first to gain momentum.
@@thetableflip Or pull a handbrake or scandi flick. Dude just mashed the throttle and let the wheel unwind and it kept going sideways like a forklift with omnidirectional wheels.
Misha gave that man a near death experience😂 Good save at 13:35 😅
Hammond style engaged
Nuts descended all over again after that one. 😂
honestly he had a great reaction...It just didn't work cause of this stupid car lmao
@@miner4236 stupid car?
@@Filip-zj6gd man I bet with myself that someone would whine about the language right away! I should've put more money down dang
This is a complete package… Not just “mechanically” but also styling is awesome!
The amount of tech and adjustability is insane
amazing video Misha, loved to see u somewhat struggle while drifting, showing u really are a track person xD
Absolutely
@@mgcharoudin was the drift mode strange? I feel like you were trying to throttle manage while the mode is intended to go full throttle and the computer manages the throttle for you, is that the case? Personally I feel like a mode in which you actually have to manage the throttle would be better to modulate your angle
Car saving habits die hard :D
@@mgcharoudin Nico Rosberg wants to take his Nevera on the Nurburgring Misha. I think you two should work something out for a great video !
@@mgcharoudin it goes against all that you learned on the track it's mad how it's totally a different style get on some drift days to learn a bit more you will enjoy very much 👍 cheers for the video 👌
I love how he actually lets you drift it, you wouldnt see other manufactors just drift it
This car is an engineering masterpiece, and to an extent that is not really fully appreciated by the car media! All the best to the Rimac team, can´t wait to see what else you guys have in store for us! Would love a somewhat "affordable" 150k car that arcs back to the humble E30 modding beginnings :)
Unfortunately they will just make hyper stuff for Arabs and the elites. Still cool too see though
New Bugatti.
So it seems that German engineering or Japanese is not at the top...no wonder Nikola Tesla comes from the Balkans...there are a lot's of excellent minds born there.
The biggest and most unforgiving issue with this car, is that it's basically an electronic toy. It 100% entirely relies on it's computers and sensors. E30 was for a lack of a better word, all analogue, this thing is fully digital, and while it's perfectly fine and all that, god forbid a single nonsensical sensor throws a fit, the whole car will shut down. So yeah, the car might not be really that appreciated because there really is not that much of an actual car.
it's piece of shit (copared to other hyper cars) that can't do anything other than straight line. never done any track time.. this car can't warm tyres tru the ring, nevertheless do hot lap.. enjoy your media lies
all the mods and data in the system just proves the fact that the car is developed by people who really really care about driving. that's so cool to see.
This car is so much fun to drift , you only need a couple of spare tires 😂
I agree but they need to improve the insulation, the smoke enters the cabin way too easily 😂
@@Oklm23 The smoke gets into the air conditioning intake because the front tires spin as well. You cant really do much about that and almost every car will do that if it has enough power to 4 wheel drift with this kind of wheel speed.
@@cantbetrue air conditioning off while drifting 😬😬
@@yazmat96 For 2 million+ you can have expectations of a car that handles cutting off air intake while having front wheelspin to prevent smoke in cockpit :)
@@jan-jaaphaasnoot2579 yep, I am definitely agree whit it :D
in my opinion, the silver color suits the car much better, I think that Nico Rosberg should call Mate and arrange the painting...this setup looks slick .
I love the black look. looks slick :D
Black Nevera looks very nice. I think that Nico's just need different rims finish. Not that shiny "gangsta" type, but something like brushed metal.
@@tomislavukraden4151 I also liked the chrome rims XD they popped and finished the slick look for me, they caught the eye immediately
Personally I like the white with blue looks sharp
Silver makes it still looks like a concept. Dark blue or black will do
This was the best analysis of this car I have seen yet. This could be the most configurable vehicle ever made, Fighter Jets, Space Shuttles etc. included.
there is almost no lumbar support on the seats
einfach unglaublich was dieses Auto möglich macht. maximum positive G-kräfte sind genau so hoch wie die negativen. perfekte regelung! mehr geht einfach nicht.
You did not just compare a car to a space shuttle
@@BlingJ. Are you really gonna comment that like 50 times on all the comments made??
Hmmm pretty sure there are some modes to go Mach 30
"Don't worry. I got this!" - Love it. That is an amazing car.
Incredible seeing a dream come true through hard work and devotion.
My real respect to Mate Rimac!
He just sold me a car i can’t afford
The man talking about the car is amazing, such belief in his product that you can feel the passion he has for this car.
First, on cam, oops moment of 2023 @13:33 "Don't worry , we got this!"..what a car to have it in . Still cannot get my head around these ballistic performances of EV Hypercars..
Kakva je ovo bolestina od autaaa 🤩🤩🤩 svaka cast komsije 💪💪💪 Pozdrav iz Srbije
Ima novi klip sa Nicom Rosbergom u Monacu. Kupio je Neveru pa vozika.. 🤣
A tek kad napravi novi Bugatti. 💥

@@PrinzvonBanat Haha 👍😂😊
Could have been your company car, Misha 😉
On a serious note: thank you all for sharing this experience and insights
Goran made drifting with this car look much easier than Nico Rosberg did on his channel
Goran got a lot more experience with this car. Like A LOT MORE.
nico ono vozi pun gas na javnoj prometnici po prvi put i to u čarapama hahahahha
Nico did it on a mouth road and with way less experience and this was on a track
To be fair Rosberg did tear up that mountain in this car
finally, Misha in the Rimac Nevera!
Late 9 months...
But as a Croat I cannot be happier for Mischa! ❤🤘
That's was sick ! 🔥
Send it in the Nurburgring next vid
Hotboxed the car without smoking 😭
Great deep dive into the hidden technology in this car.. quite amazing to see the torque vectoring at work like that!
Should have taken this on nurbugring
14:16 It's funny to see that while Misha is a good amateur race track driver, he definitely needs practice hours when it comes to drifting.
This was so impressive and entertaining. Could have been twice as long
I may upload the uncut version
That’s what she said.
What an awesome car!!! Thanks Misha! Happy New Year!
Amazing car! It's insane. Really good video. Full battery - 3 laps on Nürburgring. 20 km - 28%
That traction control system is unbelievable!!
The raw power of this car is impressive, but the software even more! Whether you are driving in bad conditions, going for lap records or just having a blast with drifts, I cannot believe this car does it all and changes behavior as you please!
My brain would be screaming one thing, while Goran is telling me to do something else...! The lesson here is: make absolutely sure you know what mode you're in (and what it does/doesn't do) before you floor the accelerator pedal!!
Did anyone else notice that the speedo went up to 186km/h while Goran casually drifted around the corner, spinning all four wheels like crazy!?
He is crazy ;)
And the Guy is so calm wile doing
It wasn't real car speed. Speed is calculated from wheel rotation and since it was sliding and slipping, it shows much higher speed that whole car is traveling at. Like in any other electric or internal combustion car.
there is almost no lumbar support on the seats
@@BlingJ. that s hiw you do neck muscle training
That changes the perception of a smart car. Incredible ideas put into practice!
Epic, what a great way to start the new year and congratulations on the engagement!
Thank you very much for this video, it was fun to watch and the car looks great!
Great to see the live dash, most interesting was the regen of the battery under braking and surprised by the battery temp after the spirited driving all day!
Nice to see a car review like this, great video 👌
I really like this style of video! Great job Misha!
This SW is SO impressive! Wow incredible to see this in action. Cheers from Florida 🌴🤙🏻
Croatians do not mess around. Really lovely people and country. Would buy one of these over a Tesla 100%
WOW.. Rimac Nevera is an amazing auto.......!! Nice job Goran..!!
I really want to see Nevera in the Ring, that will be interesting and fun
this thing look beauiful! the color, the carbon etc...come together pretty well! the dash display is outstandng as well
Best content on YT as far as driving and actual technical explanations for me! Would love to see you in some UGR or Sheepey cars to see how they go round a corner. If i had all the money in the world i'd still have a Carrera GT tho
This car is absolute perfection. They really maxed out everything that is possible with hardware and software…
electric..
@@paulleFIFOU it‘s the future. Cry more
@@Tanzgetriebe yes i will, future is shit
thats how we Croats are.
Amazing car - and a very proud Goran. Great to see.
Super demo and explanation by Goran. That tech is nuts.
Wow can't believe the car changed from the inside this much. I though of it more like a raw and rattly car with interior almost an after thought, like some of the Koenigseggs tend to be. But looks like they turned it around and mady it nearly electric Bugatti! Impressive.
Can’t blame you for not drifting it like a pro the bloody thing has that many different modes and characteristics! it would be tricky and testing on the nerves well done for just getting the opportunity to drive it.👍
It probably doesn't help when you have a guy in the passenger seat yelling "THROTTLE THROTTLE THROTTLE" the entire time you're trying to balance the car.
Amazing fun. This car is fantastic. Glad you enjoyed your day. 🔥
The first person who pronounce the car right! 🎉 THANK YOU!
Großartiges Video Misha! Unglaubliches Auto und toll Dich mal beim Driften mal außerhalb der Komforzone zu sehen. Bin schon sehr gespannt auf die Factory Tour, fall die auch auf Deinem Kanal rauskommt.
The amount of the phrase “torque vectoring“ in this video is insane haha! Great video, Misha!
Amazing video Misha Charoudin. Thanks!
Awesome video. I've always enjoyed your Nurburgring videos, but this one was on another level. Nice work.
When are we going to see it at the Ring? Everything so far is super impressive, and it makes me so happy and proud of what Mate has accomplished... so I hope it's going to smash some more records at the Ring soon... good luck 👍 💓
Incredibly quick and capable but still missing the engine note. Driver coaching is incredible
Can always play vroom-vroom sounds on the stereo.
@Addnametocontinue , not the same as have that tactile connection with a powertrain. It is an integral part of how most people measure their sense of speed for corner entry/braking zones, so it would take a lot of training to get used to using the spedo/peripheral sense of speed.
It would be really nice to have that too but with almost 2000 hp, great styling and superb tech keeping you on the road it's forgivable.
Him speaking about them working on delivering the full package of a car so it works even when not pushed and is well made is what makes me respect the company so much. Quality is about small, often unseen details not just flash things you can put in a pamflet.
It's rare to see a company thinking this way and this is what great engineers and product managers do
Never heard of “Drift Assist” before and I never thought such a thing would ever exist. Incredible!
Great car, great content. Thx for sharing these video's with us Misha. I always show this car to "older'' people when they tell me electric cars are boring ;) Also I keep dreaming to work for a company that produces cars like this, in this case Rimac!
I dare an EV company to have a Group B mode in their settings.
I love that a "small" company is able to show the big boys some new tricks, batmobile step aside pls
Great video! i enjoyed it a lot.
proud to be Croatian🇭🇷🇭🇷💪💪👍👍😁😁
Yo buraz! 🤘
yo yo yo@@SixthyGTi
Really great car!
Other companies should take it as example how to make a proper electric car (instead of making EVs bland or over styled and full of iPad screens).
Thanks for the upload guys🤟amazing!!
Love the D&B tune in the background 😍 👌
Congratulation, it looks like you had a very nice day! As you said hopefully soon you will try it on the Nurburgring. It looks like it may be the fastest car there.
Bro came to pick up a mint Golf 4 TDI and took the opoortunity to feel the 2000hp aswell
Ended up getting married too probably

Proudly watching from Croatia 8)
Absolutely fantastic! The future is bright👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
9:45 That was sick!!!!!
Sick car, love it! Was the wheel off alignment or was it perspective?
What an absolute Missile, Stunning Tech
The instantaneous adjustments remind me of Gran Turismo. And I love testing settings. This video is hitting all the right spots.
Welcome to my Country Croatia 😎
This car is an insane beast and technical master class, can anyone drive it to its full potential ? that would take a lot of practice
What an amazing car and CEO! Well done Goran! I have the world of respect for Misha's driving skills, but it's scary to see how he even he struggled and battled to control all that power while trying to drift. Goran made everything look so easy and controlled, but then again, I'm sure the car is an extension of him and directly connected to his brain. 😀 Awesome vid thanks guys!
CEO 🤦♂️
He aint the CEO, you're thinking of Mate Rimac
I love the fact that there is so much numbers and datas on the screens
They're going to need that hepa filter for the cabin. That is unacceptable.
I couldn’t believe it was actually pouring thru the hvac like that. Just wow.
That’s not the Nürburgring!
No one cares
happy new year Misha hope you have a great year and get to drive more awesome cars peace love and respect from the UK
In both Nico and Misha's drives of the Nevera there has been a window fog.
its 1 degree lol...
It happens - IN WINTER.
Quite an engineering marvel this car. It is one helluva expensive vehicle but this is a machine MADE for driving on the track but also be a regular grocery shopping (albeit expensive) car. Nico Rosberg has been involved since this car was in the early stages to get his and i have followed his series until he recently got his car. Unfortunatly to have a vehicle like this is unobtainable for the normal person like myself but i can watch all the cool videos of it at least :)
svaka cast odlicna prezentacija nema sta nevera je definitivno buducnost
Whats impressive is how careless you can be with the car without it getting wasted. Great engineers
Misha trying to correct the drift and the car itself trying to correct the drift was probably a little awkward. haha
0:30 I get how you feel, Croatia. It's diffucult to get the whole world to properly pronounce Regera. "Reyera" is the proper way. I guess it sounds cooler the marketed way 😏
OK my new dream car has changed. This is the pinnacle of Hyper-driveability!
What an amazing car and such quality and next lvl performance. 👍
Next stop Grobnik track on semi-slicks when it gets warmer?
This guy is right up there with engineering talent as such as John Britten and Christian von Koenigsegg. Very rare people.
The car is absolutely different beast. Technology and engineering is getting crazy these days
Is it just me or watching the numbers i get a sickening sense of speed in the comfort of my chair Cant wait for this to visit the ring !
would like to see Kubica take this around the ring :)
This is not an F1 car Mr Kubica it is even quicker.
Yea! We want Kubica with Nevera on the legendary Ring!!
I absolutely loved your adventure with Rimac, they've made a huge leap in two years. Misha, your actions are proof to dream big, thank you for being a powerful example that with a good attitude you can go anywhere! Inspired by you, I conquered the Nuremberg ring a few years ago. What an unforgettable family trip. Maybe we'll do it again with our track tool soon. We'll see.
But here's a little adventure for a new Rimac owner, so to speak for contrast. ua-cam.com/video/3FW5f5NJ1XY/v-deo.html.
I was able to laugh many times while watching his adventures, but on the other hand. It also shows that toys are cool, but family is priceless. Happy New Year and lots of exciting things to do!
