    Update: someone did die within a mile on these trails this year. Will 2024 be 4 in a row?

    The Google earth to drone footage transition was on point again! I climbed down to the bridges once, but didn’t dare to climb on top of it.

      Thank you. I do like that transition. My next video I couldn't do it cause google earth makes bridges look funny.

    • @MattCookOregon

    Thanks for the warning, I've been there and the trails were not good years ago and don't look like they've been maintained since then. I could make this exact same video about several trails to the beach in California and in fact I have posted similar videos and have recorded ones I haven't posted. Even a few days ago! I went to a beach in Humboldt and the wood railing in one portion obviously had fallen down a cliff years ago because you could see the rotted pieces laying there. I'm very careful at these barely maintained trails to bodies of water in California, Oregon, and Washington. There was one waterfall I crawled to with my son and saw people attempting to walk to with babies, and I told like a hundred people not to do that. Some need better warning signs, steps or railways repaired, be very careful, people!

    • @MattCookOregon
      @MattCookOregon  Рік тому +1

      Thank you. Coastal trails/cliffs are no joke. Seems like most my coastal videos are warnings/dangers but to me that is the story of these places.
