So awesome & beautiful! I stopped by there last summer for the first time and it was awesome...but this video, especially the drone shots, really brought out just how spectacular it really is. Thank you for all your hard work in putting this vid together. Great job!
Thanks Harold. Actually half the video was from last summer. Bad footage so I waited to come back this year. Another video about a bridge in that area coming soon.
I would not even think about attempting that trail. Looks Ok at the start, but that's not tempting enough for me. Viewing platform is fantastic enough view for me. Thanks for the take-a-long, and stay safe on all your journeys, your family needs you whole and well.
Another great post, Matt. Top-shelf, really enjoyed it, and I'm continuing to enjoy exploring your archive. Excellent content, quality, production and presentation! Cheers.
Great video! I lived in Brookings for a short time many years ago but did not know about this spot at that time. I will have to put it on my 'return to' list!
Sensational Matt Extraordinary filming and story. Thanks for bringing it in such a way as many would never see. I think it's outstanding that you put a link here to your play list titled Big Hole. Great job my man! All the best, .. Mike.
Great video Matt! The views were beautiful but is great for you to speak to the risks and need to be careful! Those looked like some sketchy trails. I need to get back down to this area!
Great video! Are people ignoring the closed trail sign and just going further down at their own risk? I personally don't think that trail down should be closed. I can understand not allowing people to walk on the bridges though.
Thank you. There is no trail closed sign. But there should probably be more warnings at least. Someone just died a couple thousand feet away at secret beach last month.
Thanks for the warning, I've been there and the trails were not good years ago and don't look like they've been maintained since then. I could make this exact same video about several trails to the beach in California and in fact I have posted similar videos and have recorded ones I haven't posted. Even a few days ago! I went to a beach in Humboldt and the wood railing in one portion obviously had fallen down a cliff years ago because you could see the rotted pieces laying there. I'm very careful at these barely maintained trails to bodies of water in California, Oregon, and Washington. There was one waterfall I crawled to with my son and saw people attempting to walk to with babies, and I told like a hundred people not to do that. Some need better warning signs, steps or railways repaired, be very careful, people!
@@MattCookOregon Due to some technical difficulties I did not yet post the video of Burney Falls but you can see it in my thanksgiving vacation preview and get the idea of just how dangerous it was
Nice job and love the drone transition. The girls are growing up fast! Got my new Air 2 S and going through the learning process . It pretty amazing. Thanks for you help. I been busy with clients but catch up with my editing and go get new footage from the air. Thanks for sharing as that place never gets old!!!😀😀😀👍👍👍
Update: someone did die within a mile on these trails this year. Will 2024 be 4 in a row?
The Google earth to drone footage transition was on point again! I climbed down to the bridges once, but didn’t dare to climb on top of it.
Thank you. I do like that transition. My next video I couldn't do it cause google earth makes bridges look funny.
Thanks Matt and Ladies !!
Thank you for being first comment again! Wow. If I sold hats or something I would give you one.
Been there many times, agree, stay on the viewing platform. Nice drone shots.😊
Thank you! When in doubt stay safe.
Fantastic info on Natural Bridges. Worth anybody watching who wants to visit here.
Thank you. Trip motivation or save the trouble of a visit.
Damn that transition from google earth to the drone shot 🤯 did you plan that out? Great video! I love natural bridges!
Thanks Gabby. I always try to remember to get some shot that would be similar to google earth just in case.
Beautiful Oregon, thank you for your advice to stay safe.
Thank you!
Thank you for the beautiful scenes and the warnings to be safe and cautious. I will file away for a future visit.
I keep covering these deadly and beautiful spots. I find it very interesting. That and useful to tell people to think twice.
Fantastic views there Matt and that drone footage was so spectacular. ❤
Thank you Arielle. Pretty amazing I had this to myself.
Scenery is very beautiful place
Thank you!

I think most people shouldn't go on it. Hey I made a Christmas video go check it out!
I live close but I just drive by so I’m glad for the view!
Sweet. One more video from your hood coming soon.
Another great post, Matt. Top-shelf, really enjoyed it, and I'm continuing to enjoy exploring your archive. Excellent content, quality, production and presentation! Cheers.
Thanks Rick! Let me know which is your fav.
@@MattCookOregon Oh gosh, they're all favs. But I will endeavor to pick out something that resonates more than the others and reach out. Cheers!
Beautiful spot Matt. I’ll keep the kids close while exploring!
Thanks Rob. If I took my daughter down there we would be connected by harness!
Thanks for sharing this amazing places Matt...
Thanks Antonio!

Thank you! I am surprised, I would see it on social media all the time.
@@MattCookOregon This was before social media actually. No digital anything!😄
What a beautiful place!
One of the states most popular nature spots I see in photos.

Thanks Mike! I been on a coastal spree in videos lately. One more coast video and then heading back East!

Thank you Matt and family! Spring blessings!
Hoping you will have a few photos available for purchase one day :)
Thank you. I do not have a platform for that. If you feel like browsing my instagram for my best photos, I can sell any of those.
@@MattCookOregon sweet! will do!
Great video! I love that place. It's so beautiful. Cheers!
Thank you very much. I like the whole state park too.
Great video Matt! The views were beautiful but is great for you to speak to the risks and need to be careful! Those looked like some sketchy trails. I need to get back down to this area!
Thanks! I am seeing a recurring theme. People dying at cool places and me warning everyone about it.
This is like pg ominous. I love it
Heres some pretty sights to take the kids to, don't die!
Made my day, a new video!
Happy to entertain!

You said it well Matt. Hi risk, low reward. The views from the viewing platform are good enough. Stay safe.
Thanks Larry. Someone ended up dying here within a month of this video.
Just watching scared me. I'll stick to the viewing platform. Nice photography, thank you.
Thanks Connie. I knew that walking down part would make some exciting video. Gotta be careful though.
Looks awesome
True!
Well done 👍 😮😊
Thank you!
I wonder if it easier to go down from the other side? Also how hard it hard to go over the bridge? Looks like a straight wall lol
The other side is about the same, much less traveled. I don't think its hard at all, just very bad consequences if you slip.
Beautiful views as long as you didn't fall and die
Unfortunately someone did a couple weeks after this video. rip

Thank you. Coastal trails/cliffs are no joke. Seems like most my coastal videos are warnings/dangers but to me that is the story of these places.
