5 Best 2011 Pistols That Will Dominate The 2024 Market

When we talk about 2011 pistols, we should be strictly referring to those pistols popularized by STI International, Inc., now known as Staccato. Fundamentally, these handguns are based on the 1911 platform, but feature double-stack designs, modular frames, and other modern capabilities, making them a preferred firearm of choice for competition shooters.
But it's no longer Staccato that makes these 2011-type pistols. Its market has substantially grown and there are already 2011 guns out there that are being sold at a budget-oriented price. Still, I'm not here to show you what the cheapest 2011 guns are, but the best of the best.

If they really wanted to make a "Budget" 2011 they'd just make a no frills 2011 without all the milling necessary for the accessory rail, the forward cocking serrations, and the tacticool lightning cuts. They'd also stick to effective good sized iron sights rather than adding an optics plate that 90% of the people who buy these guns are never going to use. Let's face it most of these guns are going to be safe queens that get pulled out to impress your friends so they can oo and ah at them. If you're going to concealed carry a pistol that pistol needs to have the least chance of hanging up as possible. That means no rails and no forward cocking serrations, the possiblity of shooting your hand under stress make them not worth it in my opinion, and add ons like lights and optics only increase the chance of the gun printing. Why are you choosing a sub compact if you're going to add all that Mall Ninja to it? Your concealed carry gun only needs to be two things 1. Reliable 2. Accurate at a maximum of 20 yards (I'm using the scenario where the 22 year old took out an active shooter with a pistol for my max range example, most of the time it's less than half that or you're doing something wrong)
