It is weird you had an issue with the prodigy mags because I run a 20 and 26rd with no issues. My mag release was also super stiff and had to be tweaked, it didnt break in after 1k rounds.

    • @Targetacquiredtv
      @Targetacquiredtv  2 місяці тому +3

      i rank it with the prodigy in overall value for sure. prodigy still has much better grip texture and a better trigger. slide action is also smoother on prodigy. but the prodigy uses MIM parts which are known to be less reliable, where the mac does not. so for a few hundred dollars less id say the trade off is fair. but the platypus is levels above both of them. the platypus could be sold as a 2500 dollar gun easily.

    We're on the same journey because I also picked up the OA Defense 2311.
    Regarding the Prodigy mags, I found that in order to get a couple of mine to fit, I needed to press the mag release as I was inserting them and then they would seat. The mag release on my MAC is extremely tight (I've seen this be an issue with other UA-camr's builds as well) and I believe that is what's causing the issue. I initially thought it was the magwell itself as well.
