Those are the worst!!!!! They starve cats to do it this way, they usually are very little and eat big portion of pure raw meat, that is dangerouse to cat organs like liver. Or cats eating fruits in asmr videos, it is unnatural, they are carnivores so you neet to starve them very long to make them eat fruit. I hate it when people watch this videos and comment that it is so sweet 😖 same withrescuing animal videos from India and China, they abuse animals to fake rescuing from river or road..

@@hampter3819 Either that or leaving the spit out food outside would be a good way to do this type of thing “ethically” (or as ethically as mukbangs can be). Food waste isn’t like plastic or other pollutants, it will decompose if left outside long enough. Assuming some animal doesn’t come across the food and eat it, the spit out food will disappear as soon as the environment finishes doing its thing. It’s not ideal, but that’s how I’d go about it if it were me.

Edit: I find all mukbangs quite disturbing though. That said, it is a form of purging (as is restricting, diuretics, and over exercise) and that behavior rarely sticks to behaviors with less direct harm.
Just adding info here cuz I've noticed people often only think of purging (in the ED context) as vomiting but it's any sort of compensatory behavior. Important info if there's reason to be concerned for a loved one that might've been missed.

As for the stomach acid thing, that's assuming all these people actually do have eating disorders and aren't swallowing any of the food at all. It started as a social sort of thing. Businessmen in I believe either Hapan or Korea whom wanted company as they ate due to being overworked would have a video of someone eating as well. Sorts gives the illusion of having a meal with a companion

Final edit: Alright, alright. I already know that it's not connected in anyway, that wine is just fermented grapes, and that it's not as bad as it pictured, so for now on this'll be the last time I'll hear/post edits about it since I'm deleting the original comment about it.
I'm sorry if anyone's upset about a poor take on my end for something that I thought was a bad take on her end when apparently making desensitizing remarks to the folks harmed/lives' ended from the incident all while doing a mukbang isn't bad apparently.
Imagine if someone you know, loved, and cared for had their life taken away and someone did a similar video like the youtuber in question and making "silly remarks" all while gorging on food as if it's a regular Tuesday for them? Being fat was not only a sign of wealth in old times in western societies, but still is in underdeveloped countries and native tribes today, mostly in Asia. My wife is from Buryatia, a country in far east Siberia. Her family is a bit more wealthier and as hunters, they have access to a lot of meat directly. There is a lot of poverty, especially in the north, where she lived. She luckily was (and still is) pretty healthy, but her parents and many other family members are very obese. Her younger sister was too, when she moved to our house in central europe, but with the help of a medical expert, she managed to be healthy again. It is not just there, but also the surrounding tribes, impoverished regions and countries.

And it dawned on me the madness of it all when I was watching the two youtubers gorge themselves on two types of takeaways (more than what they could possibly finish between them in that one sitting) whilst I looked over at my near to empty fridge. To watch someone eating isn't entertaining unless it's your kink or part of an eating disorder which some people with an ED do like to watch others enjoy the food whilst they don't. Pei Qi's parents are really cruel to do that to their child. It's sooo bad for her health and who know what kind of relationship with food it will it will lead to when she will grow up. But those parents are more invested in views and sponsors than their child's health apparently. Super exploitative and gross, like family channels

There used to be a guy who would eat food bought with donation money in very, very early UA-cam. He was a goofball but never ate more than 3 burgers with fries
It's amazing how that ended up becoming a genere

Never been a fan of the so-called genre because IMO it didn't make sense, but mukbangs involving children and animals/pets being made to eat ridiculous amounts and kinds of food are just plain bad and cruel.

I don't think the problem is them not eating all of the food. My biggest issue is that they're wasting it. I live in a place where getting a MacDonald's or simply anything that's tasty is an event that only happens from time to time. I've met people who couldn't pay for basic food and relied on the goodness of others. It really pisses me off seeing people who are in a better situation waste food.
I think that if they were just sharing the food it would be great, they would not be overeating and not wasting it either. But to say that they spitting food is ok, I don't agree with that, when there are people starving somewhere else. It just feels like some people don't know the value of food.

    >my< take on the part about how most popular mukbangers being young girls is because most girls (including me) have a deep desire to eat without thinking about calories and about the gaining of weight but of course we can’t, so watching someone who looks like us doing what we wished we could kind of soothes that desire

Honestly what makes me so sick and feel so foul, Is when family UA-cam channels use their kid's for mukbang's like eating hot dogs and pickles or their pet dog licking peanut butter off of a pickle, it's vile because it's attracts the worst of society and exploits their children introducing them to disturbing groups of people

She literally just discussed the event as she ate. He showed the one part people decided was so horrible, where she made an offhand comment about the shoes, which is something you might actually wonder if you were talking with a friend (which, ironically, is what mukbangs actually started out as- people eating online so others could watch/listen and feel company as they also ate elsewhere). I think it's kind of funny that one of the detractors was UA-cam true crime creatorShe literally just discussed the event as she ate. I think it's funny that one of the people saying she wasn't "being appropriate" while telling true crime is someone who makes an income from talking about other people's tragedies on UA-cam as well. Foodie wasn't talking smack or cracking jokes about the people involved with that particular story. She did nothing wrong. There's just always some folks who elevate themselves to a higher status than others as if they're the authority on what is or isn't ok in certain communities.
