Thank you for getting me back into mono-blue :) Some of your card choices I eventually turned from but the initial build and enthusiasm I have from you! I just kept disliking Escort, Quick Study and even River's Pull from time to time. All the cards in the deck that aren't able to be paired with Djinn on T4. I just got run down too much I think. To be fair I only really disliked Escort. Study and River's Pull just felt awkward more often than I would have wanted. I only went down to 2 copies of River's Pull rather than cutting it completely. I basically just replaced Escort & Study for Shore Up & Picklock Prankster (still tweaking the numbers). Surprised you're not running Prankster yourself actually. Digs and mills really deep and is also a body to chump with. Great video still! As a f2p player these budget friendly mono-colored decks are a real treat :)
@@StyloMilo219 I replaced Quick Study with Three Steps Ahead…If you are paying 2U, you may as well have some other options as well. Yes, you have to discard a card…but that’s probably not a bad thing with this deck as you will want more instant and sorcery in graveyard….Also, instead of Raena’s Vortex…I replaced this with the new “Into the flood maw” from Bloomburrow…which is an amazing card. You return a creature for 1 or a non land permanent if you gift them a card. I really like Long River’s Pull…and can’t seem to see the downside. If it is an emergency and you have to counter a non creature spell…it seems worth it to give them a card…and in other cases…you are countering a creature. Finally, the Cavern of Souls are making things tough at the moment. Most of the time, just hoping they don’t draw if!
I feel like the crab is a great new creature which the deck really needed, with the tapping ability. However, the deck seems to really suffer from consider and slip out the back rotating out
So right away, Game 1 you played, you reveal a Shore Up that was not in the deck list. You did not show a sideboard at that point so what did you remove to have Shore up in the deck

This is strong and fun, but maybe in one another time put Eluge in this deck. Congrats for the video 💙
In mono U I guess Into the Flood Maw is strictly better than Rona's. Since you menitoned Surveil, maybe Spellgyre is also interesting.
That new fading hope wouldn't be better than vortex most of the time?
Any thoughts on including some B/U lands to potentially kick vortex?
Ephara's Dispersal?
Another great deck and splendid game play.
“❶ is not dead”
I also repeatedly say "crab" when playing Eddymurk
What would a sideboard for this look like if you were to take it to Best of 3 or play it at a paper event?
Ceiling spiders definitely have reach.

I mentioned it in an on screen card at some point but the first few (1-3? Been a week) games are from an earlier build of the deck.
Really cool deck! I guess we just loose to life gain tho
