i like bulk up addtion didn't even think about it as a finisher I've been using the new kaito unblockable and extra unit pumping kaito . also some times i use water wing in side deck or main deck cause black is annoying . trying to build a simic version too but yeah drake hatcher is my fave card this set

Good games! Definitely trying something like this. Ran into a very similar deck in Timeless ranked today. I play a Rakdos burn deck. Most intense match this week it is SO hard to outrace Izzet Prowess lol. Might've had a slight chance if i played Boros Burn instead.

I ran up against one of these decks with my Slickshot Boros deck and it was not a good result for me. Going to give this one a whirl.

You should play think twice over deduce for multiple stormsplitter triggers.

I like the edit of all the iterations of the deck! Seems like a super fun but very fragile combo.

Hey - great guide. So many other folks' guides seem to do a poor job in discussing play style. They discuss items, ability combos, synergies & match ups. But when picking up a new character I find the hardest part figuring out what I'm trying to do to be impactful and have agency - I feel like your guide captured that well.

If you run white, I'd TOTALLY suggest [Clever Lumimancer] , it doesn't have haste, but it pumps twice as hard off prowess(magecraft). I say this as proud owner of a Boros Prowess list - I also run [Emerge Unscathed] for protection and [Homestead courage] for 2 spell triggers and counters, that makes my dudes LARGE

Sorry for the weird timing on this one, it's from like 2 weeks ago as I'm just limping bored through the tail end of DSK standard. By the time I realized it'd come out after foundations released it was too late to reschedule it in a way that was helpful, so it's here now. There'll be an actual Foundations Jeskai Burn video out tomorrow, another The Bazaar video out Friday, then next week should be a more normal 5 video release schedule - MTG Foundations stuff MWF, I think some more Altered Tues/Thurs but I don't have everything locked in yet.

Hey mate just found your channel looking for cathartic, bummed out analysis of the state of MTG. Forgive me if this isn't really up your alley, but the second half of this video resonated with me. The question of "where do I go from here" is timeless and relatable. Thinking out loud: Have you considered experimenting with more analytical-type investigations into older eras of MTG game design? Not just book reports about the history of the game, but your own personal critiques and deep dives into how the game evolved (for better or worse) over thirty years. Would help future TCG designers think in the abstract about how MTG functioned in its better years. And would stay on MTG for you. You could also expand this into other areas and other games. Perhaps you might be interested in taking a more "academic" stance on the subjects you're interested in, and a less journalistic one--for example. A more scholarly/critical angle on things, and less 'we play games here.' If viewers come for your analysis, they'll also likely be interested in your playthroughs a as a result of that!

I'll toss it in the comments: Let me know if you like Altered videos! Or if a 10 minute deck tech's too long, or you don't like the paper cards deck tech or whatever. I'd like to do more Altered on the channel but I've gotten literally no feedback on these, hard to tell what's working. Also idk if people are going to discourse about Waru & Robin Hood - aside from what I said in the video I'm fully just like "Let them get a second set out at least, damn. I've barely had time to play with the first one."

I'm not a subscriber but I am extremely disappointed in this news I guess Wotc wanted to drive away their existing player they have done just that or are starting to I'm not shaming people who look forward to the FF and Spider-Man i'm just disappointed and i shouldn't have to lie about my disappointment

Couldn't agree more with the tone and thoughts in this video. I think WotC has completely lost the thread of Magic and have sold out for Universes Beyond. It's completely cringe, and I'm just rolling my eyes and walking away from MTG altogether. What a joke.

I'd say that going down to 3 sets a year would be a good decision if standard beyond was a separate format like alchemy, it isn't.

Possible immediate errata (sorry/sigh): noticed while uploading there's a footnote on the founders pack page that says the 2k gems is enough to unlock the first two heroes (playthebazaar.com/founders). That doesn't seem to be correct for my account though? I don't know if it's because I got a press key, would appreciate if anyone who actually bought a founders pack could comment on if they were able to get both Dooley & Pygmalien. It's not like a huge huge error but I probably would have been a little higher on the founders packs specifically. That potential slip up aside, I do really enjoy autobattlers & randomly discovering this was coming out was a treat, I did not expect the art and general production quality to be nearly as high as it is. Hope folks also enjoy it, I'd like to be able to sink some more time into The Bazaar.

Apologies the audio in particular is a little wonky, the game recorded way quieter than I realized. I did my best to crush things down in post & get it to a place where you don't have to constantly ride the volume, I think mostly successfully, but that's why I sound a little bass boosted in places. Hope y'all don't mind & enjoy the anxious surrealism and/or me awkwardly picking up and putting down a plate 4 times because I just never ever get comfortable with the mechanics lol.
