Hi guys! Here is another video on a Death Knight. I found it interesting, since its a woman death knight. I haven't seen other female death knight characters in DND so far, so I decided to cover her too. And to be honest, while her story might seem short, it is pretty brutal! Thats what for I like old DND lore and stories - they do not miss a pinch of spiciness.
Another fun video, TML. When I created this Death Knight, I was inspired by the tales of Elizabeth Báthory, the Hungarian Countess who was also an inspiration to Bram Stoker when he was writing Dracula. In my opinion, she is the scariest of all the Death Knights. And to the person who mentioned her as the Bride of Leatherface, that is not too far off either. The bridal veil is a nice touch, though I think she is beyond redemption.
If you wanna continue the death knight series, I think there's a paladin that worked for zariel when she tried to invade the nine hells and when she sided with asmodeus, he was hurt by her betrayal and tried to escape but zariel turned him into a death knight.
When you said at first that you couldn't think of any other death knight women, my mind went immediately to Scyllua Darkhope, but I was wrong and you were right, Darkhope is just a blackguard and not a deathknight. Great video, great lore. Can't wait for the next one. I blame Sir Benedor lol j/k, but i do agree that they seem to have blunted the edges, so to speak, of brutal lore like wearing the faces of young maidens in a non-magical way. Ya just don't hear lore like that in 5e.
@@TellmeLore Now that I think about it I have seen a NPC just like that she was not a death knight just a very vein old woman in Neverwinter Nights one I can't remember her name but she kidnaps women so she can cut there face to wear it as away to look beautiful
@@TellmeLore If my memory is right the way to stop her was to give her a mirror that makes whoever looks into it look beautiful Neverwinter Nights video games are a bit old but they was what got me into wanting to learn more about D&D and play the TTRPG version
When I think of a death knight women I think of dezmyr shadowdusk although I will think of Lorana as the most terrifying death knight mostly because she wears the face of maidens
Good question. I think it could work if you find a way to harmlessly separate the soul of a death knight from his weapon and then cast 'wish' on this soul. And then doing a true resurrect to get the clean soul back to the body. On the other hand it were deities who turned those and back to death knights, I'd say Cleric's lvl20 divine intervention might be a better choice rather than arcane magic. And if it is a case and the subject is a valuable asset, like Kargoth, Demogorgon would certainly intervene.
Lorana's beauty tip # 127: if good anti-aging cosmetics are to expensive for you, just rip the face of a young maiden and wear it as a mask until this rot away.

I'm gonna have to start crediting you as my co-DM lol. Another really cool video.
Haha😄 I'm glad you find those cool and useful!

Another great presentation👍👍👍
Also, another character I can populate my world with😊
She would be a nice face-stealing boss addition indeed!

Thank you! Hmm never heard of her, will check, thanks for pointing out. Yeah, even art is more brutal in old editions
I think we have found Leatherface bride lol
Hahaha, man, I laughted so hard on it😂😂

Good work 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks!
Just found your channel and I've been watching a lot of your videos, they are really good!

Never knew how deep death nights go! Another great video!
Thanks!
Once again a great video keep up the great work 👍
I'm curious. Would a Wish Spell bring a Dearh Knight back to life, fully "fleshed" again?

Oh well, there goes Lorana's chances for matrimonial bliss. I guess it's perpetual leather face for her. 😄
I like how you paused and said, "How dark was DnD lore back then! ... But I kind of love it..." That was hilarious.

Its seems cheap and you can be whoever you want😄
I vote for Raistlin, if you haven't already done him.
