Two years already? Time flies by! Thank you for all these videos. @@thetoweroftomes thanks sir! I don’t know if you noticed but I tried my hand at some GenAI art in this video. I really like the piece with Asmodeus and Ihys.
Almost 2h long video for last video of 2024, going out with style I see 😎 Looking forward to your videos in 2025 and all upcoming years, and thanks for all good content MythKeeper, specially War for the Crown series, that one is my favorite !!!
I like the timeline segment(historian and a librarian here, putting former to good use on the latter currently), puts everything into perspective, lots of history ppl came up for pathfinder universe. And lots of adventure paths that sound promising(war of the crown, curious as to how it will ultimately play out, plus the kingmaker and wrath of the righteous, iirc, those 2 were made into video game forms, will try when able). Last video this year, eh? In that case, merry xmas/happy holidays, and a happy new year, plus a toast(or few) to that!
Ha, caught one only 15 minutes after uploading! Gotta give it a watch right away, thanks for your hard work. Really stoked to see it all condensed into one video. Hope you're going to have a great christmas and happy holidays.

I'm late to comment on this video, but remastering the history of the setting video was a surprise but a welcome one! Hope you had great holidays and cheers to an amazing year content wise!
The list of Adventure paths is super useful and amazing. I'm imaging groups of heroes completing specific AP together, so all of the Varisia AP were all completed by the same group.
It is absolutely insane how much lore has been put into this setting. This is one of the main reasons why I love Pathfinder so much, and you sir, create these lore videos with a masterful touch. Bravo. Looking forward to what the second edition will bring to the table in the coming years and your instructive videos of them.
Congrats on ending the year with a bang 🎉, thanks so much for giving us an early gift for the holiday season. I've recently started an agents of Edgewatch game and all my players say your videos have really helped them understand Absolam and the setting as a whole. Here's to even more great pathfinder content to come 😉

Loved this! Especially the bit at the end where you put all the modules in chronological order, I think a similar list exists on the wiki but just seeing them on the map as well as the years being listed off in the corner helped me a lot. I've been obsessing with a cohesive timeline for a while (in part to see how many of these you could layer into the same campaign if you were crazy enough) and this has given me an answer! Keep up the good work
Appreciated the update. Don’t forget the Thoth vs. Nethys, and later Osirion vs Hag battle and outcome when you eventually cover War of Immortals. We lost half or more of an entire pantheon as well as all our Hag goddesses!! 😭
I don't always comment on your videos but I just want to say everything you've done over the last two years has been excellent. I've been watching your videos, including your campaign recap/semi-play each time. It's all so useful and interesting and as someone who has successfully moved from 5e to PF2E, I just wanted to say thank you for all your effort. P.S: I'm now running Season of Ghosts for my players and having a blast! Also, best of luck for you and your family for 2025!
Hi Myth, Congrats on two years! I hope you're still leaving up that (those) older 'outdated' videos? You should post how many minutes of total watch time you've created on you're first 2025 video. I added it up a few months back, can't remember now, but it was insane. Thanks as always for the quality videos.
Dear Great Mythkeeper, i fear you missed a traumatic event for the WHOLE SETTING: namely the Doomsday Dawn adventure path, whose outcome would have seen the whole planet of Golarion being devoured by a nascent outer god currently being birth on Acturun. Since this even is like the worldwound x 10 in a sense of cosmic gravity, i humbly suggest to mention it or reflect on its impossible consequences if this were to happen ...
I've bought some snacks and soda to watch the year's finale! And it's an special one, even. If you dont mind me asking. What is your favorite PF module? Mine has to be The midnight isles
I will say: I definitely think the last nera 5,000 years after the founding of Absalem could be reduced by a factor of ten to roughly 500 years, and make a lot more sense
Its unclear exactly what is and is not canon in this regard. High Helm retconned the Drow as the Ayindalar, who are elves who do live underground but are not evil, however I've also heard that the Ayindalar of Zirnakaynin specifically are demon-worshippers and that that one city will remain in the new canon. Whatever it ends up being, for now I'm leaving in references to some of this content.
this whole world is just bursting from life. especially the first edition did so many good and interesting things. simply love it. sadly the second edition seems less natural and more modern-audience-pleasing, what isnt a good indicator imo.
@@TheMythkeeper with that i aggree! :3 thanks a million for your videos tho.its something i can show my players now or then, if they ask to know stuff in more detail.
@@TheMythkeeper Yey) Sadly, i cannot become patreon due sanctions on my country. I'm almost finish translating Age of Worms and want to adapt this campaign to Golarion. I want to make an Isger a starting point for this adventure. A looming war between Cheliax and Molthune for its territory seems a more epic and tragic backdrop and simultaniously can distract powerful figures of Avistan from another vague prophecies about end of the world.
So, I've been around since beta. I was one of the one's that left WotC during the fork and never looked back. I have a love-hate relationship with Golarion. On one hand, I really love some of the regions, particularly Ustalov. On the other hand, I don't like just how much of the lore is gatekept behind the APs. I'm also not liking how the setting is starting to remind me of Faerun, in terms of how edition changes are mixing in with the lore. That's something I've always hated about Forgotten Realms since it just slowly butchered the setting over time in terms of taking what I initially liked quite a bit and mutated it into something else. While I wouldn't say Paizo has done that with Golarion yet, I feel like they're starting to move in that direction a bit.
Well the lore being spread across the various APs and Supplements is part of the reason I started this channel! The lore changing with the editions is pretty standard in games like this, but one nice thing is that they've rarely retconned anything. just advanced the game state, so if you prefer the PF1E lore to PF2E lore you can just set your game in 4708 instead of 4725 and you're basically in the previous version of the lore.
@@TheMythkeeper It's not that I *prefer* 4708 over 4725 per se. I just don't like the obvious "this event is here just to explain game mechanics, and it feels super forced" type of events like the Time of Troubles in Forgotten Realms, and I'm hoping Paizo doesn't go deep down that route. Does that make sense? lol.
it's really, really disappointing to see this channel using AI 'art' , especially considering Paizo's own stance. as a niche creator yourself i'd have assumed you understood the ways in which smaller artists are exploited by these large corporate generators - *especially* since you also take the time to properly credit the cartography of Rob McCaleb in your description! i hope that you reconsider your stance on this to ensure your videos don't devolve into the same slop we see everywhere else rather than continuing to be a high quality resource for Golarion lore.
